Privat inställning på floden Doe. Två sovrum, två badrum. Nyligen ombyggd rambler. Inom 25 minuter från Bristol Motor Speedway, Roan Mountain, Watauga Lake och Tweetsie Trail. Nära ETSU och Milligan College och centralt beläget för den berömda "Southern Dozen" för motorcykelentusiasten. Downtown Elizabethton ligger i närheten. Privat inställning men nära till shopping.
Doe River är känd för stor öringfiske, särskilt på hösten. Vi har 400 ft av flodfronten för fiske och eller kajakpaddling. Huset ligger inom några minuter från södra Holston floden samt korsningen av Watauga och Doe Rivers, en av de bästa öringområdena i östra USA
Sitt på det stora däcket och bara njut av lugn och ro. Bra ställe att komma undan och koppla av. Fullt kök med allt du behöver. King size-säng i master. Två XL tvillingar i gästrummet. Gasgrill för att laga mat på däcken samt bekväma möbler under locket och ett propanbrandbord för att hålla dig varm under de kallare månaderna. Handdukar och sängkläder, kastruller och diskmedel. Vi har också kabel och wifi för din njutning.

The VIEW! From the moment we walked in the door until the time we left, our stay here was fabulous. The kitchen has all modern, high quality appliances, with everything you could need. The home was decorated with an on point trout theme, and was so clean! It’s obvious the owners take pride in providing a top-notch place to stay. And did I mention the VIEW??!

Journey's End is absolutely beautiful, the home, the property, the river. It is so peaceful. We've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, Journey's End has been our favorite. We never wanted to leave, and can't wait to stay again.

Absolutely perfect!

We have family in the area and wanted to stay closeby. This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at, even better than the pictures show! Our kids are obsessed with fishing and LOVED the decor and reading about the history. Books everywhere! Super clean, communication was A. We owned a rental home in the past and it didn't even come close to this. The owners provided treats for the kids. The beds are super comfy. The outside area is absolutely amazing, we enjoyed listening to the river and sitting outside at night. The washer and dryer was very helpful. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the fireplace as it was a short trip, but we just hope this wonderful home is available when we make the trip again!!!

Beautiful home and surroundings especially the deck overlooking the river. Carport was a plus. It kept us dry while packing up while it was raining. Everything we needed for preparing meals was available. The homeowner called to give my husband fishing location tips. We thought that wS above and beyond nice. We highly recommended this property

This is my second stay at this property but won’t be my last! The host is so helpful and is very quick and responsive. The river on the property is so peaceful and the house is very well-kept! Already planning my next stay. Truly a hidden gem.

Fly fishing weekend

From the start, communication was top notch! The house was fantastic and exactly has advertised. Enjoyed fishing in the "back yard" on Friday, we had a blast catching Rainbows and Browns! Love the proximity to Elizabethton, which is where we met our fly fishing guide! Great day floating on the Watauga!!Will be back...thanks for a great weekend!!

Absolutely speechless

This is the first rental I have ever stayed in that is EXACTLY as advertised! The view was the winning feature for us. We were looking for a few days of rest and relaxation- and that's what we got! The beds were so comfy and every amenity was provided. The hosts went above and beyond in answering all of our questions. Wonderful Home

The house felt like home upon arrival. We weren’t too far from town but away from traffic! The sight and sound of the river running through the backyard was relaxing. Homeowner left detailed instructions and information. We will be renting again next time we are in the area.

We stayed here sonce our daughter is thinking about attending ETSU this fall. It is a relatively short drive to the campus. Everything was great! The river's sound was relaxing and contant. The host was very accommodating and friendly. We will visit again!

The Doe River in Tennessee is one of the cleanest rivers in the United States. Trout is stocked regularly, both rainbow and brown trout. Doe River is also great bass fishing.
The property is close to Watagua Lake, Laurel Falls and numerous other hiking destinations. Antique shopping close by as well as Bristol Speedway
