This was the perfect spot to meet up with family. The spacious porch was great for a quiet morning coffee. The spiral stairs is such a cute touch. My only recommendation is for those with littles to bring a gate, my 18 month old made it his mission to try to get to stairs. A heavy cooler worked great to block it. We loved all the family friendly touches like oversized checkers, carved tick tack toe game board, and cornhole. The park being a couple feet away was also a hit with the kids. The host was kind and gave us some great suggestion. Overall a great stay, we’d love to stay again but for longer!

Very quaint 2 level property

Had everything you could possibly need except food and spices. Very close to the lake. Very clean and well stocked. Does need some where to hang your clothes though. I like the fact that the two levels are almost two separate apartments both with kitchens and bathrooms and bedrooms

Overall the property was ok. It advertises that it sleeps 12, but I feel that would be a very tight fit. The upstairs was cleaner than the downstairs, but there were cobwebs and dirt on the floor. The sink also leaked underneath when doing dishes.The downstairs was pretty dirty, dirt, spiders, bugs on the floor. It also smelled like pee. We got down and cleaned up visible pee around the floor of the toilet and added an air freshener down there. The deck area was nice and so was the whole cabin area, with the playground close that the kids loved. The wood carvings around love area were really cool. Overall, we would stay at these cabins again, but probably try a different one. The location was nice and close to French Lake in Patoka Lake.

A-2 cabin

This property is nice but very miss leading. A lot further to the lake and listening said 1-2 minutes that is not the case. Rules dictate cleaning and washing the dishes ( no dishwasher) then dry and put away, take out the trash. There was an envelope for a tip wasn’t sure why and didn’t leave one, we cleaned everything but the towels and sheets. No information given on WI-FI had to call and leave messages. Overall cute but will not go back.

Thanks for the review. Patoka Lake is an 8,800 acre lake with multiple ramps. The ramp by our property is Osborn which is 400 feet from our entrance which is a minute or two drive. Walking is definitely more than 2 minutes however. If you went to a different area of the lake it will be more than a minute or two. As with most vacation rentals washing the dishes and taking out your trash is a requirement. We take care of the rest. The Wi-Fi information was in an email, sent by text as well as on your fridge just past the dishes and trash section you referred to in your review. We are happy you thought the cabin was cute. Thank you.

Not for us…

I had mixed feelings about this property, and I will say up front that most of my concerns are “first world problems.” Location was great in regards to proximity to lake and access to a relatively quiet boat ramp. Loved the playground, hammocks, and outdoor spaces. HOWEVER, we weren’t a big fan of our cabin. It’s outdated and was pretty dirty - cobwebs everywhere, and lots of dust in corners/wall cracks. Also, the cabins in the park were all VERY close - more than I expected. We had loud neighbors, partying late. But the owner responded to my text and addressed it with them. Also, the bed sizes aren’t listed and they’re both fulls, which wasn’t great for 2 adults sharing a bed.

Small and cozy!!!!

It was smaller compared to the details online. But overall the property manager was very kind and communicated with me through my whole stay which made me our stay more enjoyable. The cabin itself was very clean and organized and the neighbors were friendly. If your looking for a cozy and quiet place to stay for a small family this would definitely be the place to spend the weekend!!!
