Min fru och jag skulle vilja bjuda in dig att använda vår rustika 'ol västerstuga som ditt fritidshus medan du utforskar underverken i Yellowstone. Vår stuga ligger på ett trädtäckt parti "i stan" men inte "upp staden." Det är en bekväm kort promenad till hela samhället. Kabinen delas med en ett-rumsstuga med en queen size-säng och badrum (helt ombyggt för 2019) som också kan hyras mot en extra avgift på 75 $ / natt, och vår nuvarande personliga stuga som endast används av familjen eller vänner.

Varför West Yellowstone och vår stuga?

Kabinen är ett 5 rum, ett badrum ... mysig, ren, privat familjefamilj som rymmer upp till 5 gäster bekvämt. (Queen Bed i sovrummet, Queen LazyBoy bäddsoffa, våningssängar i extra bred hall / korridorrum). Stugan ligger på en stor trädtäckt tomt med gott om parkering; inom fem kvarter från stadens många restauranger, affärer och sevärdheter. Det är 'kostnadsvänligt' [samma låga hyrespriser gäller under hela säsongen]. Under åren har vi gjort många uppgraderingar, särskilt till köket och badet, medan vi försöker behålla den rustika charmen. Vi har nyligen bytt ut några möbler i vardagsrummet, inklusive en fåtölj och en ny drottningssoffa / säng i queen size. Som följande checklista höjdpunkter inkluderar alla hushåll och grunderna för matlagning. Det är trevligt att veta; efter en lång dag i parken bör dock 'kocken' bestämma sig för att 'inte' ... att äta ute är inom gångavstånd från stugan!

En av de speciella egenskaperna hos West Yellowstone [lokalbefolkningen kallar det bara West] är Location, Location, Location. Hela Rocky Mountain Range har spektakulärt landskap, djurliv och attraktioner. Ändå är "väst" verkligen speciellt! Det omges på tre sidor av Gallatin National Forest med Yellowstone National Park på dess östra gräns. Som en gateway har du tillgång till funktioner, attraktioner och djurliv som bara finns i världens första nationalpark !!

- Den största koncentrationen av värmefunktioner i världen. [Från stugan är du bara 30 mil från Old Faithful Geyser]
   - Ett brett urval av vilda djur, inklusive vargar, björn och bison.[Var inte förvånad över att se bison dela motorvägen med dig]
   - Yellowstone Grand Canyon med sina åskande fall och den vackra Yellowstone sjön, Nordamerikas största bergsjö. [Yttemperaturen i augusti är bara 60 grader F.]
- Laddningssystem som ger tillgång till parkens viktigaste attraktioner och nästan 1000 miles av back-country spår att utforska.
- En unik färgglad historia av utforskning och äventyr och en mängd platser för fred, ensamhet och reflektion.

Wonderful little cabin in the heart of West Yellowstone. Easy access and great communication. Perfect location to everything you need including the park. It was the perfect choice for our (me and my wife) 9 day stay.

Great location in West Yellowstone

This is a very nice cabin very near the west entrance to Yellowstone. There is also a nice grocery store within a few blocks. The cabin provided everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the manager and owner were very good. We would stay there again!

Lovely stay

Great location, quiet but near restaurants & shops. Cabin had everything we needed. The only suggestion I have is to think about possibly adding a grab bar by the shower, my husband slipped & fell getting out.

Nice location

The location to Yellowstone and downtown were perfect both were only about 10 minutes away. The cabin was very clean and had everything you needed. The outdoor area at the cabin wasn't as described if that is important to you, no place outside to relax, rusty grill but with that being said and knowing that now I would still go back.

This was a homey, rustic cabin.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin in West Yellowstone. After a long day of hiking it was so nice to return to a home and not a hotel. Having a full, stocked kitchen was hugely helpful. Access to laundry was very appreciated, too. We made use of the grill outside one night and appreciated the small touches like board games and puzzles. I would highly recommend this cabin!

Close to everything

Nice family cabin close to the park entrance, stores, and restaurants. Kind of an odd layout to the cabin and needs a few upgrades, but overall is cozy and functional and the location was quiet. The tv was easy to get going which was nice, as well. We did wish there were a few cooking essentials like salt and pepper, oil, coffee, etc. to keep us from having to buy at the grocery store.

very nice, very cozy, very homey

We really enjoyed staying in this cozy cabin. It's like staying at home. The location is also great, so close to the west entrance to the national park. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and utensils, pretty much with everything needed for meal preparation. Wished we had a toaster though, but that's just minor. We also made use of the grill outside for a few nights. The cabin was well equipped with lots of towels. The wifi was also good. I would recommend this cabin. :)

Quaint in the midst of town

Quaint. Clean. Bigger than I expected. This cabin is in town and walking distance to shops and restaurants. It is nestled in between other properties as is everything in West Yellowstone. However, this property is quiet and roomy. It is a couple of miles from the Yellowstone entrance. A couple of miles away this the BEST horse back riding at Diamond P Ranch. This property is well cared for, and a prime location for all you Yellowstone exploration. Can’t say enough good things about this gem.

West Yellowstone cabin.

Overall good cabin. There were however a few wrinkles. We booked it for six people but the bedding was ready for only four. The hand soap holder in the bathroom was filled with water. The upper bunk bed is difficult to get into. The ceiling is low and you have to climb up from the end rather than a side. One of the bunk bed ladder steps is loose and rolls under your feet, making it it risky to climb down

Cute cabin. Very cozy and comfortable. Close to shops and restaurants.

We had a wonderful time in Yellowstone and the cabin made our experience even better. We were able to come back and relax after a long day of hiking in the park. This cabin was our home away from home for a whole week and would definitely come back and stay here again. The kitchen had everything we needed to whip up a meal. We also grilled outside. The only recommendation is that they provide a blender. We were happy that the cabin was equipped with WiFi. We enjoyed sitting in the living room and watching TV. It was comfortable and close to many restaurants. Very charming place. The bathroom closet was a bit noisy but it really didn't bothered us much. Wiley (manager) was very helpful. The owner was also accommodating.

Thanks for leaving a review. I was very interested to hear there was no lender. We seen to buy two or three a year and I'm not sure where they all end up. I guess that's life. Somewhere there is a lost blender secret space and they are all there right now having a party. As Wayne would say "Part on Blender Dudes." Thanks for taking the time. We stayed at the Pinecone Cabin for 5 nights mid-September while visiting YNP. IMHO, it is the best time to visit the park. The cabin was very conveniently located in town, though finding it after dark was tricky and is not well lit, inside or out. First off, I let them know of my concerns right after our stay, but had no response from them. This cabin could use some updates and maintenance, and for the price we paid for 5 nights, they could handle it. A new mattress in the main bedroom, plus new carpet are desperately needed. Do not book unless they say they have a new mattress. The “owners” say it’s their personal cabin. I don’t know how they sleep on it. This thing creaked and squeaked with the slightest movement, was lumpy and awful. After a long day of hiking and driving, I want to sleep comfortably. No joy. The kitchen was ok. It’s all older but serviceable. No DW. The bar counter was not secured to the wall. There were no spices at all, not even salt and pepper. For minimal cooking, you will be fine. Pots and pans were new. The washer and dryer were nice to have. Water was hot. Basically, the cabin needs a complete replacement of all soft goods, including carpet, bedding, bedspreads, and removal of dusty fake plants. It met our needs, but was not as comfortable as it should be.

Comfortable Cabin

Thank you for a relaxing stay in West Yellowstone. We loved being so close to dining, shopping and the west entrance of the park. The cabin’s spacious living room with a comfy recliner and sofa was welcome after a long day of hiking and exploring in the park. Being able to do laundry was also a big plus. Thanks!

Cozy and Convenient

Plenty of space for both of us. The kitchen is well appointed and bathroom is updated. A very comfortable place exceptionally close to West Park Entrance to Yellowstone. Would recommend this for a Yellowstone visit.

Great location in relation to Yellowstone

The property was as advertised and is very close to Yellowstone's western entrance. It is also very close to the downtown area, so you can walk if you want to. The washer and dryer were a Godsend. We were out west for 2 weeks, and since we flew being able to wash during our stay was wonderful. The only problem we ran into was that it was a bit warm in the cabin. There was a box fan to use, but we had it in the living room to help circulate the air in there for our girls. The rooms where our son slept and where we slept were not situated where they could take advantage of the air flow. There should probably be at least one more fan in the place in late summer, just in case.

Good stay

The property came as advertised and is very close to the Yellowstone National Park entrance as well as the downtown area, so that was a big plus. Our only negative was that it was a bit warm in the cabin, and only one box fan was available to circulate the air at night. We were offered a second fan but did not receive it.

My wife and I have had the good fortune to be able to enjoy Yellowstone Area for a number of years. I grew up being told that this was God's Country. I agree. Many of my life's choicest memories are from this wonderful area. This main part of the cabin is a real-world stacked log. We are not sure exactly how old it is. I suspect it was built about 40 to 50 years before I was, during the early 1900s. May we give a special thank-you to past guests. Your comments were very positive and a joy to read!
