HOUSE RULES
*All of the house rules must be read through to the end
*You will be required to submit a copy of your driver's license prior to your stay.
*While every attempt is made to keep properties in good working order, occasionally things break, fail or go out of adjustment. This may include but is not limited to disruption of internet service, heat or A/C. When these types of things happen, Host will make every attempt to correct or repair the problem as soon as possible, but only after Host has been alerted to the problem. If it happens that a repair cannot be made immediately or even during the time Guest occupies the property, if the property is otherwise habitable and guest remains in the property, Guest confirms and agrees that no refunds will be issued.
*Bad Weather days happen. No refunds will be given unless there is a Mandatory evacuation from the National Weather Service. In the event this occurs, only the remaining time of the guest stay that was disrupted will be reimbursed.
*There are bicycles & beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, beach cart, etc.) in the shed for your use during your stay. There are three bikes that are "chained" in the back of the shed, that are excluded from use due to cost and potential loss. There are bike locks inside the shed door, to be used if you are riding bicycles & plan to leave them unattended for any period of time. DO NOT leave bikes unattended that are not locked. Any lost, stolen or missing bicycles will result in a minimum of $75.00 charge. Please do not bring chairs, umbrellas or other beach equipment into the house-keep them stored in the shed area (rinse thoroughly before returning to shed).
*If you choose to use the "record player" please be careful not to scratch the records or break the needle. If the needle is broken we will charge you for replacement.
*There are bath & beach towels on each level of the home for your use. We ask that you try to please keep items on their respective floors.
*Only people that have registered as a Guest are permitted at the property. There is a maximum of 8 Guests permitted in the home. Please advise guests that will be arriving later, that the front door bell does NOT ring inside the home. If they are trying to get your attention they should knock or call you on your cell phone.
*There are no âland lineâ telephones at the house.
*Guests recognize that the property is located within a residential neighborhood & further agrees to use the property in a manner that is customarily confirming to codes & ordinances regarding noise & personal conduct (no yelling, loud music, etc.). Please observe quiet time & do not disturb the neighbors from the hours of 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. With this said, this is a 'beach town' and it does tend to get a bit "active" in the town.
*No underage drinking
*No drinking or loitering on the sidewalk in front of the house
*You are not permitted to change the locks at the house at any time during your stay. Any requirement for a locksmith to come to the property will result in a $150.00 minimum fee.
*Illegal substances are strictly prohibited & grounds for immediate removal from the property without any refund.
*Owner will not be liable or responsible for any personal items left behind, lost or stolen or damage to any person or property on or about the property. If you leave an item after checking out and wish to have it returned, message owner as soon as possible & we will arrange for shipment. We will inform you of the shipping costs & with your approval send a payment request to cover expense. Items will only be returned with prepaid shipping paid.
*Any Summons or violations is the responsibility of the Guest.
*Host reserves the right to remove guest(s) at any time, if any house rules are violated, with no refund.
*The homeowner is not responsible for any damage, accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the property/premises. The Homeowner is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest(s). By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all Guests (including pets if any) are expressly assuming the risk of any harm, injury or loss arising from their use of the premises (including all items used by Guest). In all cases the Homeowners absolute and final limit of liability to Guest for any reason whatsoever shall be specifically limited the 10% of the total amount of rental paid by Guest.
*Guests shall keep the property/premises & all furnishings in a neat, clean, sanitary and good condition, including on the day of checkout.
*Guests shall only use the appliances, furniture & other equipment, for its intended purposes only.
*We understand that accidents can happen. If something happens, please let us know immediately. We will work with you the best way possible to mitigate any damage & give you the best means to receive your security deposit refund.
*Recycling is the law. If you do not recycle, there is a $100.00 fine that will be imposed. Recycle items go in the recycle bins and not to be mixed with the regular garbage.
*The house has most all cooking essentials (plates, pots, pans, utensils, etc.). Additionally it is stocked with your general staples for your use, including coffee, condiments, spices, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, garbage bags, laundry detergent, paper towels, etc. We do ask if you use a significant amount or use any item in its entirety, that you please restock that item.
CHECK-OUT
*LEAVE THE HOUSE AS NICE (or nicer) WHEN YOU LEAVE AS IT WAS WHEN YOU ARRIVED. The cleaning fee is not meant to clean-up after guests, but is meant to clean and sanitize the bathrooms, kitchens, floors, etc.
*empty water and any pods from coffee makers
*remove all of your personal foods from refrigerator/freezer
*have all dirty dishes washed AND put away before leaving. There is a $25.00 fee if the dishwashers are not cleaned and emptied
*Strip sheets/blankets/pillow cases from ALL beds that were USED. Please do NOT remove the mattress protectors from the beds. Take all bed linens to washer area and start at minimum one load of laundry in washer and one load of laundry in dryer. It would be extremely appreciated if you were to be able to wash/dry more loads, as it is, as you can imagine, a big job to get the house ready in time for the next guests.
*Wash, Dry and fold all washcloths and towels and return them to their original locations. PLEASE NOTE - DO NOT MIX WHITES AND COLORS.
*Remove all garbage from bathrooms and kitchens - have bags placed out in the cans by the sheds.
*if excessive sand please use vacuum to clean up worst.
*Return all TV remotes to their respective locations.
*be sure all lights are off
*Return all beach badges to designated areas ($100.00 fee (PER BADGE) for any lost/unreturned badges will be charged
*Be sure ALL keys are returned to lockboxes ($25.00 fee/charge for any keys not returned)
*Lock all doors - DO NOT PUT THE CHAIN LOCK ON ANY OF THE DOORS.
*Please be sure the interior access door from the top floor to the bottom floor (at the stairs) is closed between the two units
*Be sure stereos are turned off.
*Return all pool balls to rack on top of table
*Trash / recycle days

IF you are staying during these days - PLEASE TAKE CANS TO STREET- AND RETURN BACK TO SHED AREA WHEN EMPTIED PLEASE NOTE - THERE IS A $25.00 FEE IF THE CANS NEED TO BE TAKEN TO OR FROM THE CURB. We understand there may be garbage in cans from prior guests due to days of occupancy, however if you are staying during pickup days, regardless of whether it is "your" garbage, the cans need to go out & be put back away please.
*Close & lock driveway gate upon leaving. Please be sure to return the key to the lockbox & scramble the code.
