We had a nice stay at this house. Property was very clean and kitchen was very well stocked. Nice neighborhood location and the deck was lovely to hang out on. The clothes dryer unfortunately was not working so was problematic to dry all our wet clothes and towels which was disappointing. The master bathroom pocket door keeps coming off its track and could use some repair. The bathrooms are nicely updated. Could have used more than one towel per person as we only had one each for showers and hot tub and we didn’t realize the rec pool didn’t supply towels either. Overall a lovely stay but could use a little maintenance and more sets of towels.

Wonderful stay!

Nice, quiet quintessential Sea Ranch home with lovely view and huge hot tub. Lots of room to spread out. Convenient location near Shell Beach and trails. Super friendly and responsive host. The house had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed dining on the deck with expansive views and sitting in the hot tub under the stars. We hope to stay again in the future! Thank you to Marisa for her responsiveness and kindness.

Fantastic all around!

This was such a wonderful little get-away! The house is wonderful... clean, accessible, easy to find, private etc! It's 6 minutes away from town and about 3 minutes from the beach access location. If you want, you can take a walk to the Sea Ranch Chapel or drive there in 2 minutes. The hot tub was perfect. If you are looking for a place to relax and put away the stressors of every day life, this is your place!

Cozy Woodstove Hot Tub Beach View

Wonderful experience with family, hiking during the day and enjoying the woodstove and hot tub under the stars in the evening. Cozy small home with nice layout and lots of windows. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Place to Discover Sea Ranch

We had a wonderful stay in this perfect house, just the right size for a couple or two and a few minutes from beaches, Sea Ranch Lodge, and Gualala. The view of the night sky from the deck when the weather is clear is absolutely sublime. 100% would recommend.

Short summer vacation

Excellent accommodations! Beautiful clean home with a wonderful hot tub for watching the night sky. Short drive to Gualala to pick up essentials. Nice walk from the house down to Shell Beach and to check out the Sea Ranch chapel. Private driveway with neighbors not too close on either side.

Rest and relaxation

After hundreds of miles of travel it was so nice to find a refuge to find deep rest and relaxation. An exquisite ocean view and warm comfortable house with all the amenities. The hot tub was clean and bright.

A Great Place to Stay

Our stay at this delightful property was very pleasant and enjoyable. The location was lovely and quiet. The house was immaculate and had a very well-equipped kitchen. All the instructions for key pick-up and other details were accurate and easy to follow. Of our several Sea Ranch home rentals this one has been one of the best. We hope to return.

Birthday getaway.

The weather was perfect, the home well stocked for all cooking needs, the house was very clean, the hot tub was a real treat! Easy walking to the sea shore and surrounding trails. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year. The only down side was that the bed was uncomfortable for me.

Quiet and convenient

The house is a great spot for those that like to access all of Sea Ranch and easy drive to Gualala. The beds were comfortable and the deck a lovely spot to read or work. The house isn't fancy but that feels ok with a dog and teens. Great games and puzzles and very basic kitchen supplies.

Rad place! Great Hot Tub, Fireplace is clutch!

Great spot. Great find. Only 1 caveat and this is no sleight to the owner, but the place needs pots n’ pans. Cooking was a challenge. There is not much to eat around there and everyone is scared of Covid so BYOB-F. Annapolis winery is a must visit. Get the Pinot! Cool spot, wish we could have stayed longer. Enjoy my friends.

Beautiful Panoramic Ocean View

This home was very well equipped with all the necessities and more. Everything was very well organized. We were there during warm coastal weather and because there is not a screen on the slider door made it difficult to leave the door open for cross ventilation fearing our dog might run out if we didn’t have a leash on her. In the late afternoon & evening we enjoyed the fresh air once we had some shade. All in all we enjoyed our tranquil stay very much and appreciate how well the owners have shared their lovely vacation home. This was our seventh year with our dog at Sea Ranch. Love it.

Perfect Getaway for Two! (or more)

Everything about this host, the reservation, the rental, and the stay overall was exceptional. The reservation process was smooth, and front door access with the lockbox worked perfectly (that's not always the case, as renters know). The house was a home - very well equipped with wood for the stove, kitchen supplies, laundry detergent, a tissues box in every room (my fave extra), TV with streaming services, Wi-Fi, games and books and puzzles, and more. The hot tub out on the deck and the ocean view were wonderful. Added note: we lost power for two days during the Jan/Feb storms, and Marissa was excellent about checking in with us to ensure we were ok. All in all, a wonderful 2-week stay.

mostly good but needs some tweaks

* We arrived on a cold rainy afternoon and with no heaters running the inside of the house was <50 degrees Fahrenheit. It took 18 hours for the temperature to come up to comfortable level.Once the sun came out, the giant picture windows in the main living area warmed things up considerably. But with no window coverings, the sun would reflect off the floor and blind you. In the summer it's easy to imagine the house turning into an oven.

Wonderful stay after small hiccup

One of the benefits of renting a property from the owner is that you contact them if there is a problem. Candidly there was a hiccup when we arrived in that they had beeen let down by their cleaners and the house was dirty from the previous guests so dirty sheets, towels and general dirt. We called the owner who was so apologetic. There were clean towels and sheets in a cupboard and all the cleaning things you might need so we sorted what we needed to. We agreed a time for the cleaners to come the next day whilst we were out enjoying the wonderful coastal walks and returned to a spotless property. The owner also credited that first night and cleaning fee which we felt was more than fair. Everything is as listed and I hope this gives comfort that this great property is mated by some people ho do want you to have the best stay possible and react promptly and fairly to any issues. Thank you

We are a family of four with two kids aged 7 and 10. We have fallen in love with the Sea Ranch and all of its beauty. We love to travel and explore new places. At the Sea Ranch we have found that there are so many places to see, it's like a new experience every time we come! It was a dream of ours to be able to have a second home and we feel so lucky to have found such a beautiful place and are excited to share it with others!

Varför värden valde detta boende

We were really hoping to find a place with a beautiful view and we did! Our favorite things about this house are that it gets so much light on the sunny hill, yet behind us there are plenty of trees full of wildlife. Sitting on the deck and enjoying the blue waves is amazing.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We were pleasantly surprised by all the wildlife we see daily. There are many turkeys, hares, deer, quail, and so many birds. We have also been lucky enough to spot foxes and a bobcat. It’s lovely
to have a spot with a forest in the back yard and a beautiful open meadow ocean view in the front.
