Dodowah Family Friendly Escape - with Spa in private backyard

Perfect getaway home featuring a jetted spa and gated yard. Upstairs 3 bedroom & 2 full bath and 1 full bath available downstairs. TVs with Roku devices in every room. Space for kids to sleep in beds or on mats on the floor. Crib in master bedroom for your littles to stay at night. Laundry room features washer and dryer. Large open floor plan featuring family size comfy couch, extendable dining table inside and two tables outside as well for sitting for dinner or playing games. Gas remote controlled fireplace to warm up after a long day playing in the snow or on the water. Fully equipped kitchen, including an oven, microwave and 6 burner stove and pots and pans galore. Wine fridge in kitchen island, fridge and freezer, slow cooker and mixer also available and all the utensils you could hope for for cooking at home. WiFi, Ring Security System. Backyard, secured spa will be available to use as often as you like during your stay. All exterior security cameras (5) on premises will be disabled while you stay.

No cameras inside the property.

Location can’t be beat, excellent hosts.

We stay here every summer and are delighted with every stay. Lots of space for a family of 5 and great for entertaining. Located close to all the amenities you need in Tahoe.

A great family escape

We really enjoyed the roomy space indoors but especially loved the back patio with a fully fenced yard. Made our time with the kids and dog that much more enjoyable. Great communication from the owner as well. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful family home

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the kid friendly items (including a step stool in the bathroom). Loved the main family room and kitchen area. Host was excellent and responded very quickly to my questions. You won’t be disappointed!

Great home away from home

The family had a great ski week at this well equipped cabin. It was a great central location and Cathy was super helpful and responsive.

My family bought this home as a vacation home years ago. We wanted to have a home that was ready for a family, so we all contributed extra items to make sure this was the "home away from home." We never have to bring anything besides our pets and our clothes when we come up. We know it's always ready for us to enjoy all that it has to offer. This is a picture of the snowman my kids built in 2020. Be sure to build one to share with the next family that will stay in this house, whether that's one from my family, or another from VRBO.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This house is ready for any stage of a family. We have a crib, several pack n plays, floor mats to enjoy like a sleep over and comfy beds for parents and older children. Lots of closet space and a washer and dryer for cleaning off either sand or whatever the kids have gotten into that day. It's incredibly dry up here so we have several humidifiers in the house to help you with combating that too. This house is ready for everything. Carnelian Bay is also a wonderful area in Tahoe. Our house is walking distance from Garwoods for dinner and the Post Office for brunch. It’s also half way between all the big ski slopes. The backyard is also nice and flat - allowing for the pets to have a chance to run around and the kids can play in the background.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Kids will be happy in the backyard playing in snow all day long or going on adventurous walks through the neighborhood with you as a family. You can sled on the driveway until the snow plow comes (make sure there is someone to stop the kids from sliding into the neighbors yard and a watch out for cars). if you want to stay in or go to the ski slopes or out to the lake to swim/fish/boat, you can - this house is central to everything. Just come ready to relax and enjoy yourself.
