Just a mere 15-minute drive to downtown Fredericksburg, this completely secluded cabin boasts panoramic views as far as the eye can see. Even on the hottest summer days, the elevation of this property gives you a wonderful cool breeze at all times. Cottage at Twin Oaks is a perfect retreat to take a break from city life and soak in the Hill Country.
This private cottage has a full living area with a queen sofa sleeper and a queen-size bed in the bedroom. There is a kitchen area with a full-size refrigerator and a bath with a walk in shower. Wildlife is abundant all around the 11 acre property. Talk about a great location! So if the city seems to be closing in on you and you need to get away, visit Twin Oaks and enjoy the good life, here in the Texas Hill Country.

Tranquil Get Away

The property was so peaceful and perfect for the 2 of us with our puppies. It was comforting to have a fenced in yard during our stay. The owners were so sweet and very personable. I would recommend this property to anyone that was coming to Fredericksburg for a weekend getaway.

Beautiful views!

Very nice property for our getaway! The owners were very nice and on site should we have needed anything. The back porch views were peaceful and the sunset was amazing. Great little cottage!

Hill Country Heaven!

Wonderful, relaxing stay!! Couldn't have asked for a more comfortable place. Hosts were gracious and were wonderful about booking us last minute. Every tiny details was seen to. Will be staying here again!

Great getaway

Loved the cottage in the country. Sitting on the back porch enjoying the breeze and quiet countryside was awesome. Great place to bring our dog with the fenced in area. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in the Fredericksburg area.

Beautiful scenery

We enjoyed our stay at Twin Oaks. The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Fenced yard was perfect for our little dog. The views of the sunset are spectacular. We will be back!

Peaceful

This place exceeded our expectations. It's a very quaint and cute cottage. Not too far a drive from Main Street. What we enjoyed most was the peace and quiet that the location of the cottage provided.

Long weekend getaway

This property was in a great location in the country. Not to far from town. The house had a fence around the house property which was great for us and our dogs. The communication with the property manager was great.

Great place to relax

We absolutely loved the property. It was perfect and exactly as pictured. We were looking to relax and that we did. The views are just incredible. The cottage is cozy and had what we needed. Our dogs were in heaven. They had so much to take in and discover. We will definitely book again.

great getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was nicely decorated. Pictures were prints of many famous art pieces. Kitchen was well equipped, and we ate all meals at home. (One takeout meal was from Prometheus Pizza. Especially enjoyed talking with Chris, the owner, who was very versed about pizza and wine.) Cabin was very neat and clean. Wi Fi worked well. The yard was fenced in around the cabin and that was ideal for allowing our Sunny to go out and about. We enjoyed the visiting deer and nearby cows and horses. Very quiet!!!!No noise and evening hours were extremely dark. Great to sit out on the front porch. We enjoyed our visit thoroughly.

Birthday Weekend

Stayed for my birthday weekend and enjoyed the house so much! Not as secluded as expected but very nice! Short drive to Fredricksburg but far enough out we didn't deal with traffic. We love the hill country and the views were amazing! Enjoyed the trivia games and DVDs! Saw some deer and hummingbirds too!We hope to be back soon maybe for some Christmas shopping!

Quiet time in the country

This property was perfect for my two dogs and I to have a quiet week in the country. Fenced yard gave plenty of room for dogs to run and play. The full property was large enough that we had no near neighbors and were able to enjoy clear and cool nights with no interference. Close enough to town that we could make visits every day when we wanted.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I get out and travel quite a bit with our fifth wheel. Periodically we will stay in a cabin or B&B. We travel to Fredericksburg yearly and hit every place we can. We stayed at this cabin for the last week, and it was one of the most enjoyable cabins we have stayed in years. The views are excellent, and the travel to town is typical. Give it about 20 min, and you’re on the main street. If you plan to Uber, Taxi, Lyft, or something similar, you may want to stay somewhere closer to town. We will arrange a return visit to this property soon.

Relaxing Stay With Beautiful Views

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend stay with our Golden Retriever. The cottage is in a beautiful location with views out over the Hill Country and no neighbors around, so it feels remote and quiet, like you have the whole area to yourself, yet it's only a short drive to all Fredericksburg has to offer. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the patio with a glass of Texas wine, and our dog loved the fenced-in yard so she could explore. Getting to see the horses and cows was also a bonus—plus the deer who came around in the evening. If you're looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle, this is a perfect spot to enjoy and use as a base to explore the area!

Clean, newly renovated and fenced for our dog to enjoy being outside too. He cried when he saw his first deer, we think he thought it was the biggest rabbit he’d ever seen 🤭we enjoyed the wildflowers and other wildlife all around. Highly recommend this cute cabin!

Very clean and well supplied

The house was one of the cleanest we have ever rented. It also had extras of everything, towels, pillows, tissue and toilet paper. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you so much for going the extra mile to provide us with a regular coffee pot. We really enjoy our drip coffee.
