Enjoy the generous 1300 square foot wrap around deck for relaxing or entertaining in the day and stargazing at night. This captivating 4/2, with the master downstairs, has an open kitchen and living area and also an extra den/sitting room upstairs. There are tons of windows throughout to bring the outdoors inside. Starview Lodge is tastefully furnished and the kitchen and amenities are fully equipped. Situated at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac with 7 other homes provides quiet privacy.

Starview Lodge is located in Kachina Village, in a quiet cul de sac with 7 other homes. It is a small suburb 5 miles south of Flagstaff and NAU. It is surrounded by hiking and biking trails, a family-friendly county park is at the entrance and historic downtown Flagstaff is about 15 minutes away.

The location is the perfect home base for Snowbowl Ski Resort, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Painted Desert, volcanic crater fields, Wupatki National Monument, and more!

High expectations - all were met

I am someone who has high expectations, search many homes before renting & love my outdoor space. This home exceeded my expectations & the pictures on VRBO don't do it justice as the home has beautiful living room windows overlooking a massive deck (pictures were a little dark or home appeared dark inside). Things I loved: Big open living room, kitchen & dining area. The patio/deck was massive as noted in the listing & all we heard was the wind whispering through all the trees! I looked forward to the sunsets while relaxing on the patio deck (we did bring our own lounge/gravity chairs for more comfort) - ample table/chairs provided & we enjoyed breakfasts & dinner outside. Home was in a quiet neighborhood. I will defiantly rent this home again & will refer it to friends. Thanks again for a great stay.Karen

Worked for our trip

The log cabin overall was nice and fairly comfortable. The beds and furniture in the home could be upgraded. Seems like they just tossed in whatever furniture they had as extras. Except for the dining room table it was big and fit all of us. I’m not sure if it was because nobody has stayed there in a while, but there was some mouse droppings in cabinets and drawers. So we definitely had to wash everything before using.

Just what we needed

This was a spring break get away with our kids. We had a great stay in this beautiful cabin, it was just as pictured online. Our host, Matt, made sure we had everything we needed, and we had restful and comfortable evenings after long days of hiking and enjoying sights of north east Arizona. A

Beautiful Log Cabin House

This log cabin house was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was so clean so comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Everything was accommodating. We just loved it. The house is stunning everything about it is just beautiful our host, Matt. Was great. we went there as a family to celebrate our son‘s 30th birthday and had the best time. Great memories were made. I highly recommend this beautiful log cabin house. The price was perfect. We all around. Had a great time and would love to come stay at this house again thank you Matt for your beautiful home. We had the best time ever the place was immaculate accommodating in every way the snow was perfect. The outer deck is gorgeous. It was fully stocked with everything that you could possibly need. This is a great place to stay if you’re going to Flagstaff.

25 th Birthday celebration for Son

Great place to stay -close to snowbowl as the kids went snowboarding and we hiked with the dogs. Kitchen is spacious so we could have meals together.

Awesome listing!!

First time users on Vrbo and let me tell you…it was a great experience! Place was just as described and seen from the pictures. Process of check in and check out was simple and easy. There were rules which we expected and they were simple and didn’t cause any issues with any of us to follow. Place with clean and organized. Also good amount of stuff provided for our use(tried not to use anything). Amazing few days and will use again in later future! Thank you for providing us with an amazing time!!!

Should be named Goldilocks cabin?

One bed was lumpy, the other was hard, another was saggy and only one was just right. My daughter is 18 and she woke up like a 81 year old! One of us ended up sleeping on the couch which was more comfortable than any of the beds. You should buy a new plunger too because the one provided was wood which was cracked, which could not unplug a toilet if it tried… The view and location were beautiful! But the cabin could use some maintenance. Unfortunately the oven was nasty. It needs a deep clean. You were worried about people using the fireplace to roast marshmallows, but I think you should be more worried about what people stick in the oven. One another note; one of the steps was wobbly, it is not bad right now but could pose a future problem FYI. The cabin itself was nice but the wood needs to be sealed so the house/cabin doesn’t fall into disarray. We enjoyed our stay and our time up there. please don’t get us wrong, it was fun. I just didn’t want to be blamed for all the problems in the cabin so I took pictures and waited patiently.

Wow! Big and Beautiful!

The property was extremely clean and comfortable with a log home appeal in a forest with a mountain view. The large deck was an evening retreat to watch the stars. We loved it.

FAMILY VACATION TO GRAND CANYON / 5 people

My family stayed at the cabin from Sept. 14th -21st. The cabin was located in a quiet neighborhood and was everything that it was advertised to be. We were centrally located so we were too not far from the Grand Canyon and everything that we wanted to visit. Weather...this was our first time in Arizona, so we enjoyed the enjoyed the cool mornings at the cabin. There is no central air-conditioning, but the cabin does have heating, so we were never uncomfortable once it warmed up during the day. The cabin has a full-size washer & dryer, so we were able to keep up with our laundry. Large kitchen with everything that you need in it. We loved it here and will definitely come back to Arizona in the future!! Thanks for the memories!! -- "The Louisiana People!"

Kachina Log Cabin

Very nice cabin, spacious, very well stocked. Had a wonderful 2 week stay, the surrounding area is beautiful. Enjoyed walking the neighborhoods, did several scenic trails and local hikes. Good kitchen, decent bathrooms, comfortable living area, and nice deck surrounding the entire cabin. Some of the furniture needs updating. Overall, a real nice place. I would definitely try to stay there again for future trips to Flagstaff.
