We encourage all guests to conduct their own research & prepare accordingly for a camping environment. We had a great time. It was like camping when I was young but without all of the work. The tipi was great, and I enjoyed visiting with the other campers.

Fun place

Although it was really hot outside the teepees did cool down enough late at night. State park was beautiful and easy access. Only thing missing for us was the ability to make calls (had to leave the premises to call most times).

Loved this place! We stayed 2 nights for the solar eclipse and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I was surprised that more than half the guests were from out of state! We even had a pretty large thunderstorm blow in on our last night and the Tipi’s were unphased by the rain/high wind. The owners stay close to the site and are the definition of Texas hospitality! Fantastic.

Tipi experience

This was an amazing weekend for my daughter and I. We enjoyed the area and was at peace in the woods. Johnny was very helpful and friendly. Thank you for the experience 😊

What a great and unique experience!

We loved this unique experience. My son and I took full advantage of the property, playing games under the canopy, grilling, and lots of fishing. Our hosts were kind and helpful. A+

Great girls weekend!

This was a really cute place to stay! Your teepee has your name on it when you arrive! Lots of plugs for charging phones! Bathroom house with showers and it all feels clean! Owners left s’more kits in our room! Cute photo op setup! Lots of picnic tables and a fire pit! We had a great time!!

Our property has multiple access points to Lake Tawakoni for fishing or launching a canoe or kayak. We also offer a catch and release fishing pond, multiple fire pits areas, and a lighted pavilion with fans and picnic tables.
