Located high in the forest in the heart of Mohican, this secluded 3 bed Rustic A-frame on a 22 acre private parcel, features a hot tub & fire ring surrounded by towering trees. Inside you will find a main floor Kitchen, Living Room, Bathroom and Bedroom and a second-floor lofted bedroom that overlooks the living room. The lower level has a pool table, bedroom, and a full bath.
Driveway notice: Drive way is long and steep. 4 wheel drive/All Wheel Drive is recommended in the winter.

We had a good time. Super close to the Mohican Adventures. Minor complaints- hot tub was pretty cloudy and mattresses were just ok- overall was happy and I thought price was fair

The Relaxing Stay we Needed!

We booked this stay to get away from the craziness of our lives! But I didn’t know was that I was going to have an unexpected surgery right before our vacation. This stay was such a blessing that allowed me the time to rest and recover and allow my family the time to play outdoors and me the peaceful recovery that I needed! Everything was wonderful! The cabin was clean. And all communication was prompt!

Great Stay at the Rustic Chalet

My wife and I had a great weekend at the Rustic Chalet. The location is great, and it is very private and secluded, yet convenient to everything in Mohican.Don't let the term rustic fool you. It is a beautiful and very comfortable cabin. The views from the windows are beautiful and relaxing. THe owners obviously take a lot of pride in this property. The cabin was well supplied with everything needed for a great stay. Plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen utensils etc. The hot tub was very relaxing. It was a little cold and rainy so we did not use the firepit, but we plan to come and stay here again some day and will hope to be able to use it. It is very well set up, and would be a really good time.If I was going to buy a cabin in the area, this is exactly what I would aim for. We are looking forward to stayiying here again. The host was excellent, and quickly answered any questions we had. Check in couldn't have been easier.

Pleasantly comfortable

The cabin is clean, and quiet. The water can start to run cold pretty quickly while showering. Check out can be a bit much having to remove all bedding from the rooms. Overall stay was nice.towels used and place in the living room.

Beautiful Property

This was my second time staying at a property managed by Drew. It comes as advertised. It was the perfect weekend getaway! It's a beautiful property, and very secluded, but still close enough to town should you need anything. There are plenty of different spaces on the property for you to enjoy. The inside space is roomy and comfortable and there is a nice deck and a fire ring outside. We didn't use the hot tub much but it's certainly was nice to have! I would highly recommend staying there and will definitely be looking to go back. in the property

Girls weekend

The property was beautiful! The chalet was very clean and well maintained. The heated flooring made the lower level so cozy. The owner was very responsive to our questions. We would highly recommend and would book again!

Amazing weekend trip

We booked this trip last minute to celebrate our engagement. Being winter in Ohio, the weather conditions were unfavorable. Drew reached out to make sure I knew 4-wheel drive was a must to get up the driveway and offered to switch our weekend to another open weekend if we didnt want to travel during the bad weather. He made sure the drive was as clear as possible before our arrival and to let him know if we had any issues. The driveway is steep and can be icy in spots but if you take your time and have 4 wheel drive youll be fine. I gave a 4 on cleanliness because there were some dead bugs around but I feel like thats to be expected because youre in the middle of the woods. Would definitely stay again! We had a great time celebrating.
