Great Family Vacation

This was perfect home and location for us to gather for amazing quality family time. Located on the river as well as near Lake Como and great hiking trails made it easy to enjoy wonderful Montana!

Fantastic Stay

Looking for plenty of room for a family gathering or group of friends, this home is perfect! Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, space for everyone to relax. We enjoyed the outdoor deck each day with awesome views of the beautiful Bitterroot river and wildlife. Renae is a wonderful host and provided an accommodation that exceeded our expectation.

Absolutely wonderful home and location

This was the most wonderful home and made it a vacation that we will remember for a long time to come. The home is exactly as the pictures depict, spacious, well decorated, spacious and lots of amenities. The location was amazing and we spent hours sitting on the back porch, into the late night, listening to the rippling river. Would come back again without hesitation!

Memories were made!

This was one of the best family trips we have taken! Everything was so incredibly easy. The views were stunning. Accommodations were great for our large group/family and easy driving to hiking trails and both downtown Hamilton and Darby. No one wanted to leave so we will definitely be back!

Bitterroot Adventure

The home/lodge was exactly as advertised. Beautiful private location and close to town and close to many outdoor activities. The kitchen is well equipped. We had a great time!

Another great visit to the Bitterroot Retreat

This was our second time staying at the Bitterroot Retreat house and we had another fantastic time! The sunsets each night while sitting on the back deck were amazing! The fishing was great and we saw lots of wildlife (there's a mother moose and her calf near the park in downtown Hamilton). Lots of great hikes nearby too. The house was again awesome!

A Week In Hamilton With Family

We own a large property nearby, but no living quarters. Your house is a beautiful property on the river and the perfect place to stay. We rented from previous owner and we were amazed at the improvements you have made. Great experience staying there!

Christmas in Montana

This property was lonely! The house is beautiful and the location is amazing. Nestled right on the Bitterroot River and just a few short miles from Town! We loved our stay and would love to stay again in the summer! Renea was very helpful!

Really nice stay

Overall, really good stay. Beautiful spot right on the river, really felt safe and relaxing. We did run out of a few things that should have been available like paper towels and trash bags. However, those were minor issues.

Sleeping Child Road Gem

This is the best home we could have found in Hamilton for our needs. You never know from the photos on VRBO, but this home is everything and more. Right on the river with great views/wildlife and 5 minutes from town. The home has all you need to feel like you are home.

A little slice of heaven

Absolutely gorgeous home on the river. Sunsets from the deck were spectacular. The house provided everything family needed for gathering as well as enough room for “alone time.” Renae was more than helpful and responded quickly to any messages. I can’t think of a better place to stay, and will recommend this VRBO to anyone I know seeking the best of a Montana experience.

Awesome House

My family and I stayed at the Bitterroot Retreat house mid June 2022 and had a great time. The house was well equipped and beautifully maintained. Sitting on the back porch enjoying the views of the Bitterroot River and the mountains at the end of each day was amazing. The house is close to downtown Hamilton (for food and shopping) and close to all things fly-fishing. We also enjoyed some great nearby hikes when we weren't fishing. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Stay

Location and home are amazing. Close to town but far enough to be away. Everything about the house was amazing. Everything we needed was already there and in good order. Coffee in the morning listening to the river was the most relaxing part of the trip. 100% will book again when we get back to that area of Montana. Thank you for an easy and enjoyable stay. Oh, and love the pictures downstairs of the fish getting away, happens to me all the time.

2nd honeymoon

This house my wife and I stayed in is spectacular with the mountain views and the bitterroot river next to property. The house was clean and very quiet even though it's next to the road. Wow!

What an amazing home for our vacation! We had a large group of family, ages 2-72, and there was room for all! The log home had an abundance of space so that we could all congregate together or hang out in separate areas. We took advantage of all the area had to offer that we could in our time frame, from relaxation float trips, fly fishing float trips, fishing right outside the home, horse back riding, wildlife viewing, Glacier National Park, and a quick trip to Darby to fawn over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. Do not hesitate to book this home, it is well worth it!

Bliss on the Bitterroot

This property was all we could have asked for and more. Having the river run right behind the house and mountains as the backdrop was so beautiful. This is a perfect house to fit a big family or a retreat with some of your closest friends. The property manager was kind and very responsive to any questions we had. All week people were complimenting the place and just enjoying all it had to offer. Every night was spent on the back porch watching the sunset and enjoying the views. The house had plenty of linens, storage and 360 views. We are not from the area but would return to this vrbo in a heartbeat if our paths ever cross again. Thank you to the property managers for such a great stay!

Montana Family Home

Words alone cannot describe the love we have for this beautiful house. It was a return visit for our family this year, and we were thoroughly delighted! All the new updates have added such beauty to an already gorgeous house. Everything was perfect. The kitchen is full of all the utensils and cookware you would possibly need. Extra sheets, blanket and pillows for extra comfort. Many more amenities, all appreciated! We highly recommend this lovely house for the view, quick travel to Hamilton, and so much more. Many thanks!
