Park Rangers erbjuder sÀkerhet och trygghet i samhÀllet. Park Rangers har expertkunskaper om lokal historia, kultur, lokala faunan och floran och mer! Att prata med en Park Ranger kommer att ge dig en chans att upptÀcka lokala gömda pÀrlor.

The Lodge Àr en vacker timmerstuga som har: En Master Loft-svit med en dubbelsÀng och halv badrum. Ett sovrum nedervÄningen med dubbelsÀng och angrÀnsande master badrum med jacuzzi. TvÄ futon i full storlek finns ocksÄ i kabinen. VÀlfylld kök och matplats. Vardagsrummet har en stor skuren sten spis (tillverkad av sten frÄn det lokala omrÄdet) och futon soffa. Vissa ved tillhandahÄlls kostnadsfritt. NÄgra extra bekvÀmligheter inkluderar: nyckelfritt intrÀde, brÀdspel, böcker om lokalt djurliv, historia och kultur.

En bekvÀm bekvÀmlighet som tillhandahÄlls av National Park Services: Officiella bÄtlanseringsramper. Dessa ramper som lÀtt tillgÄng till New River för forsrÀnning, flytande, fiske osv .. Property is gorgeous and well maintained. Equiped with everything you may need. Communication with the host is a bit off but overall it was great!

The only issue we had were all the stairs involved in getting up and down from the main part of the house, which the outside ones were pretty steep for carrying our personal effects. I couldn't figure out the downstairs shower and when I did I could not get hot water. Otherwise it was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay although too short.

We loved the cabin! It was so relaxing to be able to have space to sit and enjoy the outdoors.**Important** cell signal gets tricky. Remember to screen shot the check in information prior to arriving We were 30 min from River Expeditions rafting, 20 min from restaurants and groceries. House had a lot of basics already. Highlight was the patio deck by the river. The only downside was the spring beds

Had a wonderful time on our vacation. The house was in the perfect location and private. We enjoyed kayaking in the river right in front of the house. There were hiking trails close by that were wonderful. I highly recommend this property when looking to vacation near the New River Gorge!

River Holler

Overall... good. Two items for other guests: (1) internet is intermittent (not unusual for a mountainous area and a metal roof). (2) river access requires good dexterity. If you have mobility challenges; forget climbing up and down the bank. The gazebo is great! Spent a lot of time watching the river goings on and the wide variety of birds.

Central Location along the New River

Central location along the New River providing easy drives to all 4 NRGNP visitors centers and Babcock State Park. We enjoyed coffee in the gazebo in the mornings. The cabin comfortably accommodated 4 adults. Host was very responsive. Great visit!

The shelter by the river was one of many high points. So relaxing to drink wine and eat dinner out there with the fan making a breeze and the river and its fishers gliding by. A quiet spot. Lovely furnishings. I loved being surrounded by wood paneling. Would definitely return!

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Check in and check out process was simple. The location was perfect, right along the river with a hiking trail just a mile down the road. Would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to be back.

We had a nice stay at this property. We enjoyed the natural setting. Easy to find and getting in was easy. It was odd to go directly into the basement. Not the greatest first impression. I would recommend moving the entry door lock to the top back deck. The house could use more TLC with extra cleaning. The basics were good but if you moved anything (ie:kitchen counter) it was yucky. My husband said he had to clean the toilet before use. Communications were so so but within 24 hrs. I realize they have lives too. Over all, it was a nice stay.

Comfortable isolated cabin on the New River with privacy and quiet! We used this as our base for exploring both the Upper and Lower sections of the New River Gorge National Park.

Weekend getaway

This cabin is am absolute gem. Couldn't have asked for a better place for a weekend getaway. Right along the water with a gazebo on the bank. The cabin has everything you need to feel comfortable and at home while getting away from your own. Would recommend to anyone.

Decent location. Very rustic. Nice outdoor gazebo down by the river with wifi and seating. Very buggy when we were there so we didn't get to use it.Shower is in the unfinished basement but it is clean and functional.

Great experience

The house and property were exactly as described and just what we were looking for. Morning coffee by the river was very enjoyable and the weather was great so we had dinner on the deck. The space was very clean, cozy and comfortable.
