With 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and expansive decks with panoramic views, this cabin has undergone a top-to-bottom refresh—featuring brand-new furniture, fresh décor, upgraded bedding, luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout (goodbye, carpet!), refinished wood flooring, repainted cabinetry and walls, and all new larger TVs in bedrooms and the game room.

Living Room
Unwind by the fireplace and catch your favorite show on the large flat-screen TV. Soaring cathedral ceilings make the space feel open and inviting, perfect for gathering after a long day of Smoky Mountain adventures. A second living area on the lower level offers another big-screen TV, a wet bar with seating for three, a bartender setup, and a mini-fridge for mixing up your favorite drinks.

Perfect for family lodging

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home provided plenty of room to spread out or gather together. There are several small seating areas for intimate conversations and enough rocking chairs to gather a group and enjoy being outdoors. Sherwood Forest is near the Parkway with easy access to either P Forge or Gburg. It was perfect for our family from several states to reconnect and enjoy one another. It would be beneficial to improve lighting at the deck stairs near the driveway. It is motion sensored but not consistent WHERE it actually picks up movement and didn’t always turn on before someone went up or down and this is a busy area with luggage, etc in/out. Showers were pleasant, but water could be hotter at the kitchen sink to avoid adding water heated on the stove. Minor details, although the stairs were a safety issue. Would love to stay here again.

The toilets on the main and second level weren’t clean. The attachment of the seat to the actual bowel had dry yellowish/brown liquid. The washing machine had mold and mildew. It was apparent when you opened the door, as well as noticeable black stains. The sofas upstairs are very well used. They swallowed you. The area rug on the main level is very dirty and or stained. The blinds had a thick layer of dust. Management was very helpful, with helping me locate the broom. Around the stove wasn’t completely swept.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Raccoon Ridge for our family vacation with 11 adults and 3 kids and had plenty of space. We stay in the area often and this was by far the best location we've had. Just 10 min to Pigeon Forge and not much further from Gatlinburg. But still felt secluded, in a quiet community with amazing mountain views. My only complaint would be about the cleanliness. When we arrived, there was a whole orange, and some crackers left on the floor under one of the couches. The blankets and shams on the beds were all in need of a good wash. And the floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in some time. Our socks were covered in dirt after walking around the cabin. And the baseboards and walls all needed a good dusting. But other than that, I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic location and amenities

We had an amazing stay at Raccoon Ridge. The location was perfect, with access to Dollywood, DigNZone, other Gatlinburg activities and restaurants, as well as hiking in the mountains close by!Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, several living spaces & a large dining room table for family meals were all appreciated.

Raccoon Ridge

I would rate this property a 4 out of 10. Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by several issues during our stay. Most notably, the hot tub was not functioning for the majority of the week. Although the issue was finally resolved the day before our departure, the delay was frustrating. I remained in contact with the property management throughout the week, but the communication was inconsistent—they repeatedly assured me they were working on the issue and would return my calls, though follow-ups were minimal.Additionally, there was a persistent sewage odor around the exterior of the property, particularly noticeable in the mornings and evenings, which detracted from the overall experience.To their credit, the management did offer complimentary tickets for our entire group as a gesture of goodwill, which we appreciated. However, given the issues we encountered, I would be hesitant to stay at this property again

Perfect cabin

We had such a great time at the cabin. There was enough room for adults and teens to have their own space. The location was perfect, so close to shops and sites. The owners were very responsive and the free tickets were a nice perk!

Weekend at Racoon Ridge

The house was perfect for our group. The view is as wonderful as you will find anywhere — particularly at this time of year. Overall, this house was the best value of any we have rented in the Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge area. Clean, comfortable, great location.

Stay at Cabin

The cabin was gorgeous. We made many memories and left the cabin clean. There was a couple of things I wanted to make you aware of…. 1) Ants are in the kitchen, on the table. 2) downstairs shower handle/holder was standing in the corner of the shower when we arrived. Just thought you would want to know for repair. 3) the sewer smell was really bad in the cabin and outside-especially at night. We did see a momma bear and her 3 cubs. So cool. My family made many great memories. Deb

Beautiful Tennessee

Very impressed with the overall size of the cabin. We loved all the wood! The scenery was enjoyed by all especially the wonderful porches and rocking chairs. It was well stocked with everything you would need to cook with( pots pans utensils etc) if you choose. There is a pool table and 1 video game. Very spacious. The first day we were welcomed by a mother and her baby raccoons! We got to watch them through the oversized windows. They even came up to the window when they saw us! There were a few things that could be improved on. Would we return to Raccoon Ridge? Our large group of 15 would say YES!

Location is perfect for someone who wants to visit gatlinburg and pigeon forge. Good access to bypass roads and seems to be close to both towns. It was really clean.. Cons: I will say that our coffee maker was notCleaned and had an old filter with a little mold in it. I feel like bathroom fans could be cleaned as a few were dusty as well as some other areas. Top bathroom needs to be re-caulked as well. Overall, I’d say this is my favorite cabin I have stayed in (5 cabin trips In My life). My review is. 9.5 out of 10

Good place to stay. Wouldn’t stay there again but it was ok. Hot water ran out quickly. The place was clean. I’m trying my best to say it was ok but it wasn’t like amazing.
