The cabin is a sweet space to unplug and reconnect with those you love. Originally built in 1790 this cabin was once the beloved home of James Rankin a revolutionary war veteran. Set up like a studio apartment, you have a kitchenette and open floor space concept. It’s located on 5 acre shared lot with creek access and fire pit. Here at the cabin you get the best of both worlds a COUNTRY-LIKE retreat but are also conveniently close to town. Just a 5 minute drive to the nearest grocery and shopping center and only 20 minute from downtown Nashville. Explore all the local music, shopping and festivals or come here to unplug and unwind. It was great. My wife and spent 4 days there and it was beautiful. It was close enough to enjoy Nashville but far enough away to be quiet and romantic.

Beautiful place

Very nice and beautiful place. Amanda the owner greeted us very nice and helpful. Told us about a place to swim that was very nice park not to far of a drive. If ever get back that way would most definitely stay there again. And the bell works..

Pros: Quaint and clean place, most necessary items provided, good communication with host.Cons: Road traffic noise (but not major), having to climb to mini fridge, freezer portion needs defrosted, bed extra firm, dusty games, no decaf coffee, entry door needs to be shaved at bottom so it doesn't get stuck when opening.

Cozy Cottage

Clean quaint cabin

The cabin was very clean and cozy , it sits on beautiful property with a creek in the back. The road in the front was quite busy but didn't affect the peacefulness of our stay. The bed is a double so was pretty tight for two adults used to a king size bed. That's truly the only negative thing I can think to say, absolute five star experience.

Wonderful getaway!

Everything was so nice! Lovely property and host, helped us find some nice places to go. Far enough away from the city to relax but close enough to go to several different towns. Will book again if we're ever in the area!

Delightful Accommodations

Absolutely loved our stay in this delightful, historical cabin in Sumner County. It was welcoming and comfortable after a long day of sight seeing. Would definitely book again with the Burtons when revisiting the area.

It is a charming cabin upgraded to a rental. It contains everything you might need for a short stay if you want to get out of the urban environment. It has a brick floor which keeps the unit cool.

Great tiny cabin!

My husband and I were in town for a couple nights at Amanda's cozy cabin and really enjoyed our stay! The care and character poured into the original cabin created an absolutely romantic and relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful cabin on beautiful property! We needed a getaway to relax and recharge from our very busy high stress day to day life. This cabin was a perfect choice! Lots of good restaurants and entertainment nearby. Highly recommend!

I created this space, so that you could escape the hustle of life. It’s so easy to overfill our calendars and generally we load them down with great & exciting things. Kids sport events, work, birthdays, cookouts, etc. Here at The Cabin @ 934 we want you to come unplug and reconnect with the ones you bring. Enjoy some coffee and a good conversation. There is plenty to explore near by, but at the end of the day we have created a space for you to rest. Truly rest. Take in the creek at the back of the property. Bird watch. Experience the nature around. Read a book. Play a game. Sit in silence.
We have come to love how this home forces us to stop & slow down. To be present. To enjoy the simple & beautiful things in life.
