Perfect for the stay

This was a cozy, quiet place near to the local Springs. Perfect for a getaway to visit the Springs.

Going to the Springs

The cottage pictures and previous reviews are very accurate. We could only visit 2 springs due to "brown out" at 7 other springs we wanted to visit. So we went to a couple of museums in Gainesville.

Nice stay

Weare a group of friends who travel to Geocache in interesting locations. We are out all day sightseeing and finding caches. We bring our food and need a comfortable place to enjoy our evenings. This home more than met our needs. Thanks.

Enjoying the rivers nearby

Great central location , we boated on two rivers. Clean, and well stocked . Lots of extra items you wouldn’t expect. Huge new Grill and picnic table outside. Host made himself accessible and went over and beyond returning a personal item we left there!

Comfortable stop-over

We stayed for a one-night rest-stop on a longer road trip, and it was quite comfortable. The host was great at communicating with us, very helpful, and considerate. We did have an unfortunate encounter with a random stranger that walked up and rang the doorbell at midnight (waking most of the family), but that is hardly the property’s fault. The floors weren’t swept when we arrived, but again, that’s a very minor issue.

Looking for convenience to Gainesville

This was great for 3 guys going to a University of Florida football game. The 3 bedrooms and 2 baths met our needs perfectly, and there is easy and quick access to I-75 to get to Gainesville. Cheaper and roomier than staying at a hotel in Gainesville.

Great place

Stayed for wedding held in city of Alachua. Was so close to quaint down town area as well as nearby springs and Gainesville. House is clean, cute and very comfortable with a nice private outdoor deck and yard . Had everything we needed and check in and out was very easy. Good communication with property manager.

Clean, Cozy Home

Very pleasant stay

I was dismayed when I arrived in Alachua by car and the number I was given did not ring and was not answered. However, I immediately got the email I was waiting for giving the access code. The house was very nice and met our needs completely. The laundry room (on the back porch) was a lifesaver. We should let the owner know that there were mud-dauber nests on the house and a mouse in the house.

Springs cottage

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this location! you're right in the middle of Gainesville and the springs, plenty of room for a large family. If anything was wrong the host was very nice and took care of anything that was needed or had problems with. The living room furniture was a bit uncomfortable but other than that everything was wonderful!
