Welcome to the Salty Pelican, a condo in Steinhatchee, FL, a quant small town on the Steinhatchee River. Fish, scallop, kayak, bicycle, bird watch or just sit on our large corner balcony and take in the breathtaking views of nature's coast. Special memories are made here.

Our luxury condo sleeps 8. A king bed is in the master, 2 queen beds in the guest room, and a pull out couch in the living area. All linens and towels are provided as well as televisions in living room and both bedrooms. the Kitchen comes fully equipped for all your baking needs. It's located on the 3rd floor(top) and has 1,400 sq. feet.

The condo rental comes with your own private boat slip on a floating deep water dock. The boat ramp to launch your boat is less than a 100 yards away. The Gulf of Mexico is a quick 10 minute boat ride. The condo has a swimming pool for fun and relaxation. Boat trailer parking is located conveniently across the street. The Condo provides covered parking for your stay up to 2 vehicles.
Good Times Marina and Who Dat's Bar and Grill is located next door making it easy access for gas, bait, ice, and great meals.

There is a 2 night minimum year round except for Scallop Season and Holiday weekends when there is a 3 night minimum. Sorry no smoking and no pets are allowed. Security Cameras were added to the building for your safety.

Such a fabulous Unit and location

We love Steinhatchee but have never stayed at this particular property. We booked last minute an we’re extremely happy with the Condo. Everything we needed was there from dishes to towels, etc. The view was amazing. We will definitely book this Condo again. The owner was extremely helpful and answered all questions within minutes. We enjoyed watching the fireworks from the balcony. Overall 10/10

Great Stay!

We had a great two night stay at the Salty Pelican! The convenience of having a boat slip and the outdoor storage closet for scalloping is one of a kind. Dock is easy to use. Great to have Sea Hag right across the river. The kitchen has all the appliances and supplies you may need.

Beautiful views and everything we needed for a great trip

Everything was great. Very clean and had all of the creature comforts of home. Beautiful views of the river. The only thing we didn’t love was the boat slip. It was very tight getting in and out and we aren’t even sure how we would have been able to dock if there was another boat in the slip. The Seatow vessels in the next dock just made it very very tight getting in and out. Also parking, we didn’t feel good leaving our boat trailer in the lot across the street without my truck attached. So that was a bit inconvenient.

Top place for Steinhatchee!

Perfect place to stay for scalloping or fishing. Has it’s own reserved dock place for a boat which makes it convenient. Quiet and clean place. We all slept great! Owner communicates well and even let us know that the place was ready early which was the best so we were able to drop our stuff off early to get on the water. Thank you!!

Great place!

We plan a fishing trip to Steinhatchee once every year or two. We have stayed in several condos at this property, but this one is our favorite. Nice furnishings, and accommodations; and it is so convenient to have an assigned boat slip. Check in is simple, and the host is always quick to reply to any messages. We will be back!

Great place!

Perfect clean place to stay in Steinhatchee and it has a signed boat docking. It’s close to southside boat ramp so any size trailer can be parked close by and there’s a signed parking with plenty of room. Owner communicates fast. 
and there’s a large pool to relax after a day of fishing or scalloping! Kids will love it.

Hi! We are the Carroll Family. My husband has been coming to Steinhatchee and Keaton Beach since he was a boy. When we were dating and first got married he introduced me to the area. I fell in love. Now that we have 2 girls we brought them here and it felt like home. We enjoy fishing and scalloping. We also enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunsets.
