Gorgeous wide open ocean views are yours to enjoy for the duration of your stay. Blue water as far as you can see left and right. Privacy abounds as you can't see the house by driving down A1A, you have to pull into the driveway. Once past the protective screen of trees, you'll find yourself with plenty of parking for you and all guests of this beachfront home. This home has had a complete exterior makeover with the added and most amazing end to end covered porch! It is the most incredible spot to sit and enjoy a cocktail, a beer, glass of wine, or Southern sweet tea. Relax and watch the ocean, just enjoy the breeze with no one around. This home sits so perfectly on top of the second dune that you get magnificent water views, but may not even realize people are on the beach until you reach your private gate at the steps to the beach .
This family friendly property is so close to all that the beautiful, historic city of Saint Augustine has to offer. A quick drive up A1A takes you to the fort, shopping on St George St, restaurants galore, putt putt golf, museums, Flagler College,the Bridge of Lions and so much more.
On arrival, the downstairs door takes you to the private bedroom and bath that is separate from the main house. You'll find a king and queen bed here, sleeping four. A full bathroom meets all your needs, including beach towels for everyone, beach umbrella, and a pack n play for the littlest beach-goer.
Go up the new stairwell to the front door, behind which is the view of a lifetime! 12 foot sliding doors are the largest of windows for the incredible water view you won't ever tire of. To the right is the living room with leather furniture and big screen TV. The dining room for 8 takes advantage of the beach just beyond. To the left is additional dining seating for up to 8 more (and it also makes a great game playing/puzzle table!) Continuing to your left is the fully equipped kitchen. Blender, crock pot, instant pot pressure cooker and tons of silverware/dishes all provided. The super sized washer/dryer is behind the curtain for easy access. Laundry soap is provided and shelving for lots of helpful items is just above that. Beach toys, frisbees, paper goods and more. Beyond the hallway, you'll find yourself in the master retreat. King bed with quality linens, full dresser, double nightstands, and a single sofa sleeper in case a little one needs your attention or even an adult for that guys or girls weekend. With its memory foam support in the master closet, you'll never know you were on a sleeper. Full bath with double sinks, all new furniture and mattresses for that easy night's rest after a wonderful day on the waves. At the opposite end of the house is the guest room with king bed and a single sofa sleeper.
With all the beauty inside, it's still no comparison to the nature outdoors! The front is perfectly landscaped with Florida friendly vegetation. A full set of stairs to the north side of the house give you the option of heading straight for the beach! Once there, you'll find a 60' porch that can accommodate all of you at one time and still be plenty of room. Seating for everyone is available. We just love to eat outside on the dining table, enjoying the ever-changing sky. It's a spectacular sunrise, one worth getting up for! PLEASE NOTE: There are no lights installed on the porch for a reason--gopher tortoises live here, too! Watch for our resident tortoises in the dunes. We have several and you have a great chance of seeing one or more while you are here. Omnom is the resident closest to the house, just off the porch to the south of the boardwalk. Please don't feed them and stay out of the dunes! We don't want their habitats crushed by unsuspecting feet. It's a super fun part of this special home--don't miss it!
Take the Trex-decking boardwalk and don't worry about splinters--you won't see a single one! Custom benches grace the gate to the beach and make a perfect parent watching spot or evening moon-viewing location. Several steps down to the beach with the powder white sands that Crescent Beach is famous for. Bring the beach toys from the laundry closet and get that sand castle creation going! The water temperature changes more often than you think, sometimes it feels warm and others much cooler. Don't be afraid to check it out. It's family friendly with plenty of tide pools and shallow for quite a ways before deepening for the perfect boogie boarding wave! We love to spend time here as a family.
