Emersyn is a short walk from having your feet in the sand that makes Gulf Shores famous. With deeded beach access at an electronic crosswalk at East 4th St., Emersyn offers a huge private sundeck with a partial view of the Gulf. This condo is the upper half of a duplex that features a fully-equipped kitchen, stackable washer and dryer, and an air-conditioning unit in each bedroom.

Small but recently renovated with new everything, Emersyn is the upper rental of the duplex with Kait Shores below. They are a short walk to the Hangout, restaurants, and gift shops, Emerysn is a cute little place that affords wonderful proximity to the beach that many other places envy.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The furniture was very stained, and limited dishes were provided. The house was hot and without m...

The location was amazing. We had an issue with the shower drain and it was resolved very quickly! Spacious kitchen as well.

Best vacation ever

My kids and I took our first ever trip just us and we booked this beautiful quaint house. Its perfect location made it easy to get to beach, stores, restaurants etc. We had a great time and would recommend this house to anyone interested in a nice peaceful relaxing vacation. And I would like to thank the owner! Everything was great!

Deck furniture in bad condition. Metal bed squeaky, no dish washer. Very small.

Close to the beach, but not super clean

Check in - easy. Lock on the door with a code. Easy peasy. Check out was the same. Just text them. Furniture - meh. Couch was so worn it had maybe 1/4 inch of padding left. Bed was comfortable. No outdoor furniture on the front porch and only one chair on the back porch. Upper deck furniture worn down. Barbecue grill unusable. Amenities - pots and pans were pretty scratched. Coffee maker was great! They leave nothing like salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc, unlike most others I've stayed in. One very small bottle of shampoo, conditioner and bar of soap for 2 people, 5 days. Cleanliness - less than expected. Some blue goo on the shower curtain and the bathroom wall, a used washcloth still in the shower (yuck!), a full but open bag of trash on the upper deck. Minimal effort was put in by the "professional" cleaners. Location - GREAT! Just a very short walk across the street to the beach. Customer service - awful. Im not sure she was even in the US. Very generic, pre-written answers. A lot of im sorrys, but i highly doubt anything will change. If you don't mind cleaning a few things for yourself that you didn't dirty and don't plan on being there much, its a great place to be. But, if you have high expectations because you've been spoiled by some amazingly awesome places you've stayed, you'll be disappointed.

Not what we expected for what we paid

The photos of property are very misleading. The childrens feet were black from the floor. The sofa bed was full of sand, we had to purchase the only blow mattress Walmart had, $200 There were no extra linens for the sofa bed had we used it. It claims access to a pool - um yes you can see the pool from the balcony but you actually have to walk around the block to get to it. There was so much sand in the washer & dryer it was dumb to even try to wash your clothes. There were dishwasher pods on the counter but there is no dishwasher. There was 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 people. I have no problem bringing my own things if I know I need to do so. There are rats running all over if you go on the porch in the morning time. One morning there was a cat with a rat in its mouth almost as big as the cat. They state they have deeded beach access, and that this would be less crowded. Everyone and Anyone has access at the point they are talking about. They are rows & rows of people at any given time. Again like I said it was very misleading, and for the price we paid it was definitely not up to par! I gave the place 1-2 stars only thing going for it was that it was across the street from the beach.

Great Budget Stay

This was a very good spot for the price! You are directly across the street from public beach access and can see the beach from the porch. It isn't the prettiest building and might not be your style if you want to show off, but for us it was perfect.
