The Space

The first thing you'll notice when you arrive is the outdoor living space on the ground level. Comfortable furniture, a BBQ grill and that all important swing makes this the perfect hang out space. Although the home is spacious, we know you want to be outside when you are at the beach, and this is the perfect hang out spot.

The spacious deck is the perfect spot to either begin or end your day. Gaze at the surf or the both!

Venture inside and you'll find everything you need for your home away from home. Ample seating for game playing and TV watching. Counter seating, in addition to the dining table mean there is room for all at mealtime. The well-equipped kitchen boasts updated appliances and the very rare in Fort Morgan, gas range! You enjoy preparing simple meals after a fun day at the beach.

There are two bedrooms that share a hall bath (tub/shower combination) and a primary bedroom with a private bath. The master has a soaking tub and a separate shower.

* Dogs 25 lbs and under are welcome. Maximum 2 dogs.

Fort Morgan

Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.

Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.

Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain, and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.

Ft Morgan for the win!

We had a fabulous week. The property was just as described. The management was always available. The beach was a decent walking distance and not crowded. Overall, we would stay here again.

Family Trip 2025

Easy to find. Short walk to beach. Beach not to crowded. Good local food. Plenty of room for our family of 8. Only problem was that we have 3 teens that are 5'10- 6'2 and the bunk beds were a little short for them. We had such a great time though. Will be back.

Nice stay but needs a little work.

Home was clean except we didn’t have a big outside garbage can because they we full until our last day than we could take trash out. Maintenance never showed up to fix swing that was broke my daughter in law sat on it the 1st day. Chains were rusted out. It seems like the neighborhood would clean up the weeds around the homes. Idk if thats a normal thing in the area,The outside furniture could use some new cushions the ones there are very flat. Over all We had a great time while we were there.

Great place for family vacation

Great house! Great location! Peaceful location without packed beach. Beach is a short walk through a friendly neighborhood. Our family would definitely stay here again!

Nice Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is close enough to the beach that the ocean can be seen from the front porch. It’s a 5 minute walk from the house to the water with part of the walk through sand and partly on the street. We were notified that the house was ready for us about an hour before scheduled check in but we were stuck in Mobile traffic. The house is cute and all 7 of us had a place to sleep. Beds were comfortable but we asked to have the sheets changed in all 4 bunkers bc there was sand at the bottom of all of them before the kids ever even got in bed. We also told management that the kitchen floor was sticky in places upon arrival. All of that was taken care of quickly and the manager stopped by to make sure everything was now ok. The entire floor area of the house needs a good scrubbing because we had to wash the bottoms of our feet every night. There is no Keurig, only a drip coffee maker with no filters(we left an entire package for future guests). The area below the house is spacious and has plenty of seating to enjoy being outside but not in the sun. Several beach chairs and toys are also available.The house is actually listed for sale. If you need shrimp, there’s a seafood store 9 miles east of the house on Hwy180, but for all other groceries, go to Dollar General or else go back to Gulf Shores because the prices at the closest little markets are outrageous. All in all, the grandparents, children, and grandchildren had a wonderful time.

Would definitely recommend

We had a blast. The check in was super smooth. The location is not crowded making plenty of room on the beach. The location was 100 yards from the beach. The check out was very easy. The staff also came in and checked with us at one point and was super helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend for any medium to small sized families looking for a quick get-away

A Nice little Get Away

It was a nice little get away. A few structural things needed repair but this didn’t impede our time. The only things that we felt could have been better is that the master tub water drained and we were not able to use it and the TV buffered and kicked us off every time we tried to watch anything in the evening. However, the quality and price was great and we enjoyed our time over Mothers Day Weekend.

My mom's a professional housekeeper though and found a bunch of issues with the cleanliness in showers and the bar was sticky when we got there. A few dishes were dirty when we pulled them out to cook. The gas stove was a surprise to me. Kids loved it and we had a good vacation. Quick walk to the beach. Nice that some beach supplies were included. We'd possibly stay again just because of the location and fenced in yard for kids.

We love the area because it is quiet and the beach isn’t crowded. Smiles N Waves accommodated our party of 5 well. We loved the large master suite, the well equipped kitchen, and the outdoors spaces. The front deck had a nice view of the ocean since there is not a home directly in front of this property. There is a bit of a walk to beach access. This wasn’t really a problem for us as we just learned to pack light for our beach days! I was very impressed with the property management team at Coastal View Vacations. They were helpful and provided prompt responses to my questions!

Disappointed Customer

The stay was ok. I wasn’t expecting to be so far away from the attractions I wanted to attend. Very upset about the amount of tissue they had. Floors was not clean, There was no refreshen of the house. Bathroom face bowls had a draining problem. Dead insects in window seals and on floors, Dishes dirty, and checkout time was not good. 10:00am is not even a half a day to depart considering you’re not allowed to check in until after 4:00 pm. Overall I was very disappointed and will never consider this again.
