Serenity on the Shore was built and designed with family vacations in mind! Located in Surfside Shores, this 3168 square foot home is literally just steps from the water. Imagine the convenience of walking just a few steps for a snack, lunch or beverage refreshment. No loading up the car and searching for a parking spot! Surfside Shores is a tranquil community located on the Fort Morgan peninsula. So, you'll enjoy the quiet beaches in this quaint neighborhood but still be just a short and scenic 15-20 car ride into town.

The Space

The first thing you'll notice in this home is the soaring two-story living room! This light, bright comfortable room is the perfect spot for TV watching, game playing or just gazing at that amazing view.

The first floor features a master bedroom with en suite bath. The bath contains a double vanity, private water closet, jetted soaking tub and separate shower. Of course, no master bedroom in a beach front house is complete without a balcony access. The owners have recently added a writing desk for catching up on emails, journaling or working remotely.

Also located on the first level is a queen bedroom with a shared hall bath. There is a stack-able, bonus washer/dryer conveniently located in this space.

Mealtimes are such an important part of vacation and you'll be so pleased to find a dining table that seats 10, an additional table (that doubles as a game table) that seats 4 and 3 counter stools. Ample seating means there is room for all! The large kitchen is well equipped for those nights when you choose to dine in. You'll find a convenient prep sink as well as a wet bar complete with a stand-alone ice maker.

Head upstairs and you'll find a second living area that doubles as a media room equipped with a 100” retractable projection screen, 5.1 surround sound, and a Blu-ray player. Take a break from the action and step out onto the third-floor balcony to experience those amazing Alabama sunsets. Need to refresh your beverage? There is a wet bar with mini fridge, so no need to head downstairs.

There is a second primary bedroom upstairs with King bed and private bath. This bath includes a water closet, jetted soaking tub and separate shower. And of course, balcony access! For added convenience, a desk has been added to this room as well. A Queen bedroom shares a Jack and Jill bath with the two Twin over Full bunk room. The vanity is separated from the tub for added convenience.

There is a half bath located off the media room as well as a full-sized washer and dryer and laundry tub.

Surfside Shores and Fort Morgan

Surfside is located in the quaint beachside neighborhood of Surfside. The quiet treelined streets are ideal for walking, jogging or biking and you'll really appreciate the lighter crowds on the dog friendly beaches.

Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.

Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.

Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain, and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.
