Clean, Comfortable and Cozy

Perfect size for our family of 3. Kitchen was well-equipped, beds were comfortable, and large sectional couch was amazing. Check-in & check out was easy and we appreciated the centralized, heating, lighting, and locking system. Location was really good as far as close to restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Walking distance if you’re up for it. House is one block off the main street which could be loud; that was the only negative.Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable

Nice place. It was very clean with updated everything. The beds were super comfortable. It was advertised with a washer/dryer but I didn’t see them.

Gracious and friendly host!

Our host was amazing and promptly responded to any questions we had. Property was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything felt new. The property is well situated in town. It is on a busy street and most days we heard the local town horn at 7am but that is not the owners fault. For the most part is was quiet. We stayed with our two adult children. If you can coordinate sharing one bathroom it works out okay. All in all very nice stay!

Beautiful and relaxing

We arrived late, but the checkin was quick and easy. I was pulling a trailer and there was plenty of parking space right in front of the house. The house of amazing and felt like home with a greeting just for us on the mantle. Just the relaxing space we needed after a long travel day! You all have made a modern day oasis for travelers. Thank you from Ellen and Robin. Hope to stay with you again.

Very Clean and Welcoming

Everything new and unmarred inside and out. Very comfortable. A couple minor plumbing glitches, needs additional kitchen utensils and glassware (in our opinion). Would be pleased to stay there again and in fact, plan to.

Cozy little getaway

Our host was amazing. She was communacative and accommodating. The space was cozy and quiet nestled back a few blocks from the main strip in the small town of Oakdale which is central to modesto, turlock, ceres and waterford. Necessities were provided to do what you need to for a short or extended stay. Our rate was less expensive than a nice hotel room even after fees! We walked into a personalized welcome for our family, the place smelled great and was clean. Couldn't ask for a better value or host! Thanks Lori!

Short and sweet

We stayed at this cute cozy 2 bedroom duplex on our stopover to Pinecrest. we wish we could have stayed longer, but we only needed it for 1 night. The house was roomy enough for our family of 5 (children ages 4, 7&10). We lounged around and relaxed before the snow day. It felt as if we were home! We even have the exact same kitchen granite counter top :) Property was clean with a nicely decorated interior. Lori was very accommodating and responds to texts quickly. Thanks for the positive experience!

Perfect Christmas House

We stayed here over the Christmas holiday and opted to try this property versus a local motel/hotel. This property exceeded our expectations. Communication and checkin was perfect and easy. We arrived to find this newly renovated and updated property. It had wonderful Christmas decorations throughout the house. My wife said it felt like a Christmas cottage inside. The main bedroom (queen bed) was very comfortable - and I have a history of back problems and can be very pick with mattresses. The other room was outfitted with two twin beds. There were plenty of extra linens and blankets throughout the house. The couch was large and comfortable (it has a pull out which we didn’t use). The TV was a smart TV and you can log into any of your streaming apps. The WiFi was good (50 mb/s down 25 mb/s up) which sufficed for our needs (streaming was no problem). The house is a smart house, locks, alarm, lights, AC/heat are all centrally controlled and are based on your leaving and returning. The garage is great for bag storage. We had a mid-sized SUV but opted to park on the street. I don’t think the garage is meant to be used for a vehicle. The washer and dryer are in the garage. There was coffee and tea available along with some spices. Plenty of pans and cooking utensils. Dishes were all Christmas themed too. Communication with Lori was super easy. This will be our go to anytime we are in the area!
