This detached house in the village boasts a 500 mÂČ enclosed plot with a lovely shaded garden, not overlooked.
Inside, there is a large living room with a lounge-dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. A large bedroom (accessed via two steps) overlooking the garden. A bathroom with a shower and bathtub. A separate toilet. A laundry area with a washing machine.
Upstairs (13 steps), enjoy a relaxation and play area (attic) ideal for children. At either end of the room, there are two attic sleeping areas: one with two 90 x 190 cm beds and the other with a 140 x 190 cm bed.
On the terrace, enjoy garden furniture, deckchairs, a barbecue, parasols, and a charcoal barbecue. This former forge from the village of Razac-de-Saussignac has been completely renovated by the owners. Just a 20-minute drive from Bergerac, close to the beautiful fortified towns of Eymet, Issigeac, Monbazillac, Monpazier, and Beaumont-du-PĂ©rigord. From this house, explore the vineyards of the PĂ©rigord Pourpre.

Originally from the North of France, we dreamed of settling in the Dordogne. It happened in 2018! Today we also live in Razac de Saussignac.
Four years of work were necessary to transform the old forge of the village into our GĂźte called La Forge Basile, in memory of its blacksmith, Basile.
We have renovated and decorated it with care and are delighted with the positive feedback from our tenants during this first season. We will be very happy to welcome you in 2025.
