We enjoyed a relaxing week in this beautiful cabin! The cabin was very comfortable with excellent views of the lake. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and evening bonfires. We sat on the deck and watched the loons fish. We also enjoyed bird watching and listening the owls!

Cabin on the lake

Enjoyed our stay nice place only issue we had was bedrooms had a musty smell other than that great little place thank you for sharing it

The property was exactly as it was presented. Clean, Peaceful and Quiet! It is the perfect spot for going "almost off the grid". It was fun watching a Loon family swim by morning and night. The host was available via text for any question or issue--very quick response.

Summer 2024 vacation

Nice place on the little lake. Beds were super comfortable. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was wonderful. Nice amount of property, dog and kids had lots of room to run. Kitchen was nice. We made most of our meals right there. Rodgers City and Oquioc Falls are a short drive away.

Trish Responded to Our Every Need

Property exactly as stated. No surprises. Loved the paintings & artwork in the Cabin. We were there to train our Labradors and the Pro Trainer was just a short drive away. Nice Neighbors also loved Dogs. We were honest about our Dogs with Trish and respected their little piece of Heaven on the Lake. Thank you, Trish, for your warm hospitality.

The cottage was very cozy and the lake was very inviting. The quietness is unbelievable. Hearing loons in the morning and evening was peaceful. So many deer and critters to watch.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was very nice and the couches were very comfortable and the kitchen was awesome but the bed in the master bedroom was very old and not comfortable at all felt like the springs we were sleeping on springs and it hurt my back and my wife's back and in the bathroom the toilet leaked water onto the floor. It was a great place to stay with my granddaughters the beach and being on the lake was awesome and the sunrise and sunset were amazing. It was a awesome cabin to take your family and there was a really nice beach down the road where my granddaughters played in the water most of the day and the owner of the property was very responsive with all of my questions and issues we had. It was a wonderful place to stay. Thank you.

Nice Lake Cottage

Spent a week at the cottage on Lake Louise with my spouse. We liked the peaceful view and is a great place to kayak. Bring your floats as the lake bottom is not very sandy. We enjoyed fishing for Bass off the dock and fished some of the other small lakes in the area. Spent time on the porch reading. Surprisingly we received a better cell phone signal (AT&T) on the porch than at our home on the suburbs. We especially liked the new appliances and the use of a washer and dryer. It’s an easy day trip to Mackinaw Island and Ocqueoc Falls is close by. On the way home my spouse asked if we could book again for next year.

Winter getaway

Great communication from hostess- property was just what we were looking for and needed for the week. We were looking for domestic winter peace and solitude- but we will definitely return in the summer and utilize the no wake lake with our kids! This property is convenient to Mackinaw City and Petoskey/Lake Michigan. And Lake Superior? Just 2 hours. I recommend to anyone looking to visit several places but stay in a nice rural area. You will have to drive about 20 minutes to get to a regular grocery store, but the drive toward Lake Huron is a beautiful drive! We'll be back!
