Welcome to Water's Edge - Whether you're coming to Smith Lake to play or relax and take in the expansive, BIG WATER view, this beautiful 4 bedroom home has plenty to offer. Only 12 minutes from I65 Good Hope exit 304!!

**All pictures show water at lowest level - Winter Pool. Summer levels are 10 feet higher.

With 4 bedrooms, two living areas, two decks and it's own PRIVATE dock you'll have all that you need for a little R and R on the water. This home is recently updated with all new furniture / mattresses / linens. Our home can easily accommodate 5 cars.

4 smart TVs (including an 85" monster one!) are in the home ready for any of your streaming services. 300mb internet utilizing Eero Wi-Fi is provided free of charge. We also have a gas grill located on the upper deck.

Don't forget to rent a boat as soon as you book! We also provide our guests with private sources for rental pontoons not available to the public - they deliver to your dock!

Minimum age to book - 25 years old (Photo ID required prior to check in). No smoking, no pets.

We provide high quality bed linens, bath towels, lake towels, and a well equipped kitchen. Please let us know if there is a certain necessity needed before check-in. A starter pack with toilet paper, paper towels, hand soaps, dish tabs, and trash bags is provided, but will not last your entire stay.

Awesome 4th of July weekend!

We had such a wonderful stay at this property. It has direct views of the fireworks and enough space for our family and a few friends. The owner was very communicative and friendly. An awesome stay!

Beautiful property

Beautiful view of Smith Lake. And the house was very clean with plenty of room with the best customer service and communication with the owners of the property. We use VRBO almost on every vacation we go on and I have to say communication with these owners was top-notch and he wanted to make sure everything was perfect. Very pleased all around with the comfort, view, and everything else.Highly recommend!

Amazing property!

Loved the house! Plenty of room for our family. The view was amazing and the kayaks got plenty of use! The property managers were very accommodating and the communication was great. We are looking to visit again!

Great Getaway

Beautiful house and views

We had a wonderful trip. The owners are great...responded promptly to any questions we had before and during our stay. The house is beautiful...great views of lake and very clean (all new furniture). We enjoyed swimming, boating and just relaxing.

Fantastic rental!

This house was everything we were looking for! Minimal steps to the dock, available boat slip and jet ski ports, plenty of room for a large family and the view…the view is fantastic. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had, and that’s worth a lot to us. We would definitely rent this place again!

Relaxing

Our 6 day stay at the Lake is exactly what we needed. The house was large enough for 2 families but cozy enough for my husband and I. The lake view was breathtaking and the cabin was clean. The master bedroom bed was so relaxing. I loved the towels. I’m a bit of a towel snob. These were large, soft and very white. I don’t like dingy. We stayed at the cabin while I was having some medical tests at UAB. We look forward to coming back later this year. We saw lots of deer. Our hosts Conrad and Stefani were a complete pleasure to deal with. Without a doubt we will be back.

Best location!!

Our family had a great stay! This property is in such a great location on the lake! Minutes by boat to a restaurant and marina! Also situated on a wide part of the lake. Perfect for relaxing on the pontoon or letting kids learn to wakeboard! Not many docks close by so it was very quiet and relaxing. We are sold on Smith Lake after our stay!

Great Lake home!!

Wonderful roomy home. 2 levels of family areas , so great for teens to have their own space. Wonderful views. Outdoor fireplace was great, just bring firewood. Dock was roomy and great water depth. Overall a great place for any family or group to have a lake getaway !!

Thanksgiving Memories Made

We rented this house so our family could be together for Thanksgiving in one place. This house is absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The property managers were extremely nice and very responsive. We will definitely rent this house again, we have to experience during the summer!

Great Location

Really good location. Would make a few suggested changes. 1) Need some type of cable service. With Bball and Hockey playoffs, we weren't able to get the games using our home xfinity account as it doesn't work in other zip codes. Had we known there was no cable, we would have looked for another location. 2) We loved the view but the downstairs living area needs some blinds available. It's impossible to see the TV until after the sun goes down. 3) Upstairs needs a couch. There were 6 of us which made sitting upstairs impossible.

Amazing location, too many bugs.

This was an awesome location. Good size property for our party of 10. Problem was the bugs. They were everywhere. In the house, on the deck. Everywhere. The windows and deck were so dirty we couldn’t even sit out there. There was even poop on the deck and walkway to the boat dock. When paying over $1000/night we expected a better experience. On the positive side, the location was awesome, close to launch ramp for boat and great location to the the kids swim in the water. Owner def needs to invest in pest control. It was gross. Cobwebs, spiderwebs and bugs all over the place inside and out.

Waters Edge was very nice and perfect for our family group! Its location on the lake, the wonderful view, the added amenities (kayaks, lily pad), and the boat dock...were appreciated by all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The one drawback was the stone stairs down to the dock. While beautiful, they were a little tough to negotiate for the older of us (70). However, our littlest was 5 and had no problems.

Awesome Home for the Holidays!

This home is absolutely beautiful! My family stayed during the Christmas holidays and I had asked Conrad if a Christmas tree could be put up and his wife Stephanie went above and beyond! The tree was HUGE and decorated beautifully! Conrad was always quick to answer my questions and the home was even better than described. It was very clean and also had a well stocked kitchen. It was very private and on a great section of the lake with breathtaking sunsets! We will definitely book again!
