Welcome to your own private suite. We truly believe we have created one of the nicest places to stay in this area. This peaceful place has a private bath/laundry and kitchen with fridge, stove top, microwave, toaster, coffee & tea pot and a very comfortable bed.

The space itself is beautiful with a nice freshly new model, kitchen and bathroom. Location was great. There were just a few issues: 1- the unit itself is attached to a main house. That’s not an issue, but they had a door connected to the main house and there was only a lock from their end. I had no way of locking it from my end and that made me uneasy because I don’t know who’s behind that door.2-the shower was too small, there was no space due to a seat built-in3- there was a space heater that we had to use and due to the space heater we couldn’t get the temperature right who is either too cold or too hot and we had to unplug the space heater from the bedroom and take it to the bathroom. Otherwise it was too cold to take a shower. 4-the water was either scolding, hot or freezing cold, and it was hard to adjust5-on the very last night of the homeowner must’ve came back from being away, and we can hear them and the dog. Throughout the night, I can hear the dog playing with a squeaky toy, as if it was right outside the door, I even heard it chewing on a bone.6- and if I have to add one more thing, it would probably be the fact that I would prefer white towels and white sheets, especially being a rental because I wanna make sure what I’m using is clean

This charming rental was in the back half of a little pink house on the corner of two residential streets, one of which is actually a little dead end. It makes for a lovely and quiet stay. The host supplies a lot of soaps, some basic seasonings for cooking, and a very generous amount of cookware.If you don't feel like driving OR cooking, there is an excellent Italian place called Pia's out by Ecorse, the main road, that I recommend highly.Host does have a (very sweet) Shiba that gets excited and barks sometimes from the front half of the house when you get back from going out. I don't mind this as I think she's adorable AND that the barking likely deters potential troublemakers, not that I saw any that week.

This VRBO suited our needs well. The location was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet despite the train whistles, which we liked hearing.We enjoyed the outside seating, comfortable bed and nice bathroom.Our host answered our question readily.

We can't say enough good things about our stay! Kathy and Lilly were the BEST HOSTS, always willing and ready to assist with anything. We felt so SAFE we didn't even lock our door for 3 days straight. The neighborhood is quiet and clean, the place itself is just PERFECT!!! FIVE stars does not seem adequate! Thank YOU for a WONDERFUL visit with Auntie!

Very quiet beautiful accommodation

Had a great stay. Very quiet neighborhood , parking and access to everything. The bathroom is a gorgeous oasis. Kitchen has all you need but dont expect to be cooking 7 vourse meals. Overall excellent would recommend

Good place to stay

My husband stayed while visiting friends to fish. He was not there a lot but the place was clean and Kathy was helpful and friendly.

Comfortable, updated and quiet.

Plenty of clean, soft towels. All bathroom, laundry and kitchen necessities included. Would appreciate a table for 2 to dine and work from however. Close to hwy access to airport and Detroit. Restaurants are close by. Parking is on premises. Super friendly host.

I did know there was no table or chairs inside. Just a bed room and kitchen. Bed , very uncomfortable. They said there was a t.v. but I didn't know that there was no local channels only had Netflix.

Perfect location

Great stay!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The on-suite was very easy to find. Everything was VERY CLEAN! Kathy was a great host. Although we personally did not need to reach out during our stay very much, she always responded very quickly and answered all our questions!

Great Neighborhood, Great Host

I'm extremely grateful to Kathy for honoring my reservation after she had a family emergency. I would have had nowhere else to stay on such short notice that was that close to the friend that I was visiting nor at such a great price. Pros: The room was super cute and close to Detroit without the stuffiness of being in a major city. It was also really close to the person I was visiting. Wi-Fi was fast. I cannot express how much I loved the bathroom. Overall quiet property in a nice neighborhood. Washer and dryer in unit for convenience. Cons: The biggest one was the lock on the door. It did take a bit of a learning curve to operate, but wasn't terribly difficult once I figured it out. Also, the hot water seemed to run out really quick. A couple of times I had to wait for it to build up again in order to rinse my hair. Again, not a huge deal, but if you have multiple guests bathing, it would be a problem. The towels were clean, but didn't smell super fresh, but I just popped them in the washer/dryer to freshen them up a little. I feel like that was an acceptable inconvenience considering the host had a pretty serious emergency right before I showed up. Overall, I would definitely stay there again and hope to the next time I visit my bestie. Kathy is a great person and definitely made my stay easier. Traveling as a single female, I felt safe staying there which is always a major deciding factor for me. Pros: The place was super cute and perfect
