Very poor communication and service

I emailed the owner several times and gotten no response to several major problems in the home. First off we had no water in the kitchen, which they claim a plumber was coming in in four days never showed up. Washing machine in the front of the home was also not working. Never got a response. The house was 79 and they never gave me a response as to fixing the problem called their phone several times with no response. Emailed several times with no response, the only response I got is when they noticed I use their email address through VBRO.

Centrally Located

First, let me say that the place was really good. My friends and I really enjoyed the stay in the house and had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. We were in town for a Tampa Bay game and was very excited to find a place so close to the stadium. We were able to walk with no problem to the stadium and had a lot of great options nearby for food. Pros We were very close to the airport. Room enough for all 7 of us to stay comfortably. We had ample space and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The place was clean and with 2 wet bars and 3 refrigerators I think we had more than enough space for anything we would have needed. The rooms where clean. You could tailgate from the house if you wanted. Cons Not necessarily a con, but the layout of the place is a little weird. If you want to cook on a stove the only stove is in the outdoorish kitchen. We didn't cook so it wasn't a big deal. There were lots of doors to the outside of the house not just a front door and a backdoor. There also seemed to be a lot of extra appliances floating around the yard. None of it was in our way mind you and we never felt like it was cluttering the spaces we used, but it was still a little odd. Overall, we enjoyed the house and never felt like we regretted any part of the rental. The host responded to emails/text fairly quickly. Be mindful of the check-in and check-out times. I would stay again if I was in Tampa with a big group.

Concert

The location of the property was ideal for a large group in town for a concert at Raymond James. I wasn’t given checkin info until I pulled into the driveway. A/C worked well for a hot august. This home accommodates a large crowd. There were not enough towels or wash clothes to accommodate even having even 1 of each for each person. Nowhere near enough utensils to accommodate that number. Very minimal stock on kitchen supplies. Questions were asked of the host shortly after check in and there was no response until check out.

Perfect alternative to a hotel

This was a great place. My friends arrived Friday with a check in of 4:00 PM and a checkout of 11:00 on Saturday. It was quite expensive at over $800 for less than a 24 hour stay, but it was better than a hotel for 8 people. This is in a convenient location and our host was great. One word of caution. Only 4 cars are allowed which was an issue for us because we had five. There was a nice neighbor across the street (with the solar) who sold me a parking space for the night. Above and beyond things: When I compare this stay with other home sharing services, a few things stood out. 1.) They had plenty of towels 2.) They actually had shampoo and conditioner 3.) Hand sanitizer 4.) I think I counted 3 kitchens Small areas of improvement: 1.) The outside space was nice, but a few areas felt cluttered. This was not much of an issue, but in a review, I do try to point at least one area of improvement. Overall, this was an excellent stay. You won't find many properties that can sleep 16 people in this area!

Large house near Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL

The house didn't have great curb appeal due to the neighborhood, but the interior was in very good shape. There are three full baths, which are spread out to service the six-bedroom house. One bath was small and attached to one bedroom. There is no dishwasher, so all dishes needed to be handwashed by hand, however there were no dishwashing sponges or towels. There is one stove located in a covered & screened outdoor area, but there were several microwaves inside of the house. It worked for our group of six and we would likely use the house again, if we attend another event close to the stadium.
