Enjoy beautiful forest views from inside this multi-level home inspired by classic cabins - or even better, from the private hot tub out on the back deck! This rustic but modern home, part of the exclusive Tahoe Donner resort community, offers plenty of space for guests as well as access to extensive amenities, hiking and biking trails, multiple ski resorts, lakes, and countless attractions. Step inside and enjoy the extra breathing room under the majestic, vaulted ceiling. The well-equipped, full kitchen features a deluxe fridge, gas stove, plenty of countertop prep space, and a three-seater breakfast bar, while the private gas grill out on the deck can take on everything you caught in the afternoon. At the end of the day, wind down with one of the provided board games or choose a movie from the home's extensive DVD library. The family room features plenty of seating, a huge 4K TV with surround sound, a striking stone hearth, and a chess table ready for a game. You'll find it easy to take it easy at this lovely home!

The first bedroom of this home lies directly off the kitchen, and features a desk workspace as well as a private entrance to the full hallway bathroom (featuring a shower/tub combination). Climb the stairs to the second floor and the main bedroom of the home (second overall) lies straight ahead. This lovely space features three walls of windows with a forested neighborhood view, a desk workspace, and a beautiful en suite bathroom with double sinks and a shower/tub combination with a full-size tub. Down the hall, the cozy third bedroom features a private entrance to the hallway's full bathroom (featuring a standalone shower) that also connects to the lounge space. The final flight of stairs brings you to the fun loft space, where guests can enjoy foosball and an open sleeping arrangement with rooftop views at both ends.

The fireplace is not operational.

There is a $16 per person/per day fee to access the amenities (including the shared pool) in Tahoe Donner. Kids under seven years old are free.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Dock details: There is a private dock available at the Tahoe Donner Marina. Please bring your guest access cards.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Good property. Cleaning was poor and the fridge was not working

I like the property very spacious and it gives a cabin vibe. Unfortunately fridge was not working well, I had to put my food in the freezer to avoid spoiling. The cleaning of the house was okay, the carpet was dirty.

good size and good flow

the home was well stocked and very pleasant and very spacious for our group. the driveway contineously blocked baracaded with snow as we had a stormy weekend. management needs to understand weather condition and make appropriate daily arrangement. it is an upslope driveway. Hot tub worked well and filter was changed eventually to make it clean. the Gas stove worked great and furnishings really nice. management could provide bed matress pads on bed. management could provide for essential dishwasher pods and washer pods ( at least 5 per stay) id recommend staying at the home. it seemed cared for and guests thoughtful . good lightening

Nightmare!!

I can’t believe they rent a place in a location known for storms and blackouts and allow a unit to have electrical appliances without a generator! The hot water heater was even electric so for half the weekend we were out of power and couldn’t cook, shower, heat up the baby bottle for the baby or even try to cook noodles from hot water from the sink! The stove was electric as well so we scrounged for food to eat the weekend. We brought a lot of meet we ended up throwing away since we had to Put it in a cooler outside to attempt to keep cold while power was down. We spent thousands on this place for Xmas weekend to be miserable and I’m hell! So far Vacasa has done nothing for us even though we have been calling the night we came in. The only thing has was the fireplace and that went out Saturday evening so we had no heat from then until Sunday evening when we left. Still waiting on a call back from Vacasa, even though Sunday I was disposed to get a call.

Great House but not as advertised

The house itself was great. It was very spacious, had a separate tv room for the kids, and every bedroom had its own bathroom which was great. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. The faucet was not working on arrival, we texted Vacasa and someone came out the next day and got it working. We were not able to wash dishes in the sink the first night. What was a big bummer is that the house advertised a private hot tub. This was something that we prioritized when searching for rentals. I even emailed ahead of time to confirm that the hot tub was functioning and that it was accessible. I received an email confirming that the hot tub was working and that it was accessible. When we got to the house we realized that was not the case. The snow outback went higher than the sliding glass doors, completely burying the hot tub. This was a disappointment as I said we filtered our search for a house with a hot tub. We were also charged a hot tub fee, and in searching for many houses, found that houses with private hot tubs were more expensive to rent than those without. The second day into our stay I spoke with someone locally and was told that we would be reimbursed for the hot tub fee and compensated a daily amount as well, as the house was not as it was advertised. I am still waiting almost two weeks later.

Home itself was great- Cleanliness was NOT.

We wanted to love this home as we were excited for the location and amenities however when we arrived the home was NOT cleaned. The "condition" of the furnishings were great however the cleanliness really stopped me from enjoying the home. We were afraid of what was not cleaned. The home was not clean. As I mentioned when I sent photos upon arrival via text the bathroom counters had tooth paste, the mirrors had spots, the kitchen counter was sticky, kitchen sink had food particles in it, the air vents were dusty, there was trash outside the front yard and beer cans around the spa, and someone's dirty clothes were in the closet on the floor. This was AFTER we were told we could not get an early check in due to the home not being ready until 4:00 pm. I am not sure it was cleaned at all. Especially with COVID this should never happen. I did ask to speak to a manager the last day we were there as that is when the dirty closet clothes were discovered but I was not contacted...still waiting. Customer Service was helpful at first. . They provided me with local food options since we could not check in early. They offered for someone to come clean outside as I already had cleaned inside myself. But NO one called me to discuss anything once we checked out and I had requested them too. If the home was clean like it should have been then I would have added more starts.

Not happy with our experience

The positives - house was clean - beds were comfortable - Good TVs and entertainment options Negatives - one thermostat for the whole house, makes it challenging since its 3 story house - most things were a bit outdated in the house - stairs leading to the house were not cleared of snow, big hazard just getting to the door and no garage code was provided - grill did not work With above I would have given this house 4 out 5 but the reason for the 1 star is Vacasa. The whole reason we got this place was the beatiful jacuzzi, we had many other options but given we were spending a week in Tahoe skiing, jacuzzi was absolutely critical. After getting to the house I started looking for it and realized it was fully covered with about 3 feet of snow. I spent over an house shoveling snow to get to it and once I opened the top it was green cold smelly water. Called Vacasa and they said we will send someone over right away, next day zero follow up and no one showed up. Texted again and they said its broken and they have not been able to get to it due to snow so they will give us $75 credit. This is absolutely rediculouse customer service and followup. That credit is more of an insult, especially since they knew the jacuzzi was broken, they could have given us a heads up with the option to find another place. It just shows you how little they understand their customer, we were snowed in two days and it sure would have been nice to have a jacuzzi. I also asked them about the grill and how it was covered in snow and not accessible, they said since its not listed on the site so they can't do anything about it. If I was an owner I would never give my house to Vacasa. An airbnb owner would have a much different way of working with their renter.

The Harrison's

The house was beautiful, clean and roomy. We enjoyed cooking, foosball, near Truckee and shopping. We enjoyed the lake as well. Only disappointment is the late check in 4pm and early check out 10am. That is almost the cost of a lost day. A suggestion for 2-3pm check in and 12pm check out is more reasonable and common. Thank you.

Beautiful home

The code we were given to enter the house was incorrect. Had to call support to get a new code. Also, in the photos and description it says there was a private hot tub, which there was but we were not give a code or a key to use it. And when I called support they said there was no hot tub with that property, but I was standing right next to it when I called. Also, the grill did not work. Beautiful Home, other than those problems.
