Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. A.C barely worked, toilet was broken, kitchen table chairs were all broken,had to tighten the legs so my kids could sit, 1 of the lamps were broken in pieces when we arrived, I fixed it so I didn't get the blame, the TV is very small, the washing machine has mold inside, place is very old and not taken care of

Dirty, Dusty & DATED

Beautiful location and complex amenities! Dust covered room from vents to fixtures; furniture is broken and in terrible condition. Multiple dirty, stained, smelly rugs layered on top of one another. Unusable washing machine due to BLACK MOLD. Air conditioner struggled to cool off room. Old and squeaky mattresses - drain plugs were removed from shower and sink. Welcomed by having to clean dirty dishes left in fridge and sink! Great experience @ Golden Sands but I would not stay room 213 again.

Dated and dusty but acceptable

Let me start by saying we would totally stay here again. Our condo in Golden sands could do with some updating and a more thorough cleaning job. The property was quite dusty, and we found dirty socks under both beds. My wife felt that the sheets needed to be washed so we washed them before we used them. Both door knobs were loose, as were cabinet knobs. We fixed them. Screen door was broken. Two of the chairs at kitchen table had a dangling leg. Sofa and chair looked like they’ve survived a few frat parties. View was fantastic, facility, though dated, was quite nice with lots of amenities. Location was lovely. For the price we paid we felt that it was totally worth it.

Horrible experience

This place was dirty, TVs were smaller than my monitors for my computer Someone stole our key from the lock box and Vacasa did nothing until the next day. Two women sleeping in a condo that someone had the key to and no other way to lock the door. Couch was full of stains (they did clean it but we couldn't use it because it was wet) Beds were uncomfortable - blinds couldn't completely close so people walking by could see in the bedroom Washing machine was full of mold, appliances were rusty. Way to much money for the outdated and dirty place we stayed. I would never stay there again I can't believe they charged as much as they did for this horrible place -room 213

Recent stay

We’ve stayed in the Golden Sands in years past with no issues with our room. This year was totally different and I’m disappointed. It didn’t ruin our trip and it was only minor inconveniences but definitely easy to fix. No door stopper in the bathroom so the door would lock by itself. My 3 year old and 1 year old both got locked in the bathroom. We had to use a hanger to get them out. The water pressure in the shower hurt, it was so fast and strong and I couldn’t figure out if there was a way to change the pressure. The hot water in the shower lasted maybe 5 minutes then went cold. The kitchen was not well stocked with utensils, there were no paring knives or measure spoons and the cutlery that was available was under the sink. The furniture was dated and dirty looking throughout the whole condo. The bedroom did not cool down like the rest of the condo. Again, it wasn’t a terrible vacation but simple fixes would be helpful.

Clean and comfortable

I was highly impressed with this condo. Despite the outdated decor/furniture and needs for upgrades in some of the pots and pans, furniture outdoor and indoor; this place was exactly what we needed for our stay. The beds were surprisingly comfy and clean. Fridge was clean, bathroom spacious and clean. Big enough sink to place things on the sides. I do wish there were more towel racks and shelving above toilet in bathroom but it’s no big deal. Thanks for making our trip great! The view is amazing. You can see the pool bar and pool if it’s packed as well as strait on view of ocean. It’s low enough you can take the stairs if elevators are busy or if you are afraid of heights. The sofa is a pull out so 3 people have their own sleeping bed. If you have 4 someone needs to share a bed.

Cute condo

Nice layout in kitchen and bathroom, especially wrap around shower curtain. Bedroom and living room good size. Lots of amenities in building.

Room needs a refresh

The furniture is terrible. It’s old and stained. The drawers fall right out of the dresser, the beds squeak, the walls are so nicked up, and the bedroom smells terrible, I hung an air freshener from my car in the room. There is “security” at the property that watch your every move. I wouldn’t stay her again.
