To check in to have to go to a completely separate location ise a door code then find a key box to get the keys. Keys are worn out and you have to wiggle it till it works. The apartment is in the attic with no ventilation and only one window in the back of the bedroom that opens. When I arrived in the evening it was extremely hot, I opened the one window and after two hours it was still uncomfortably hot. I set my smartwatch on the table for an hour to get a temperature reading. It was 88 degrees, this is after the window had been open with it being cold outside for 3 hours now.
Called Expedia/vrbo and they called the property manager and the property manager did not answer, they said they had to wait an hour. No one got back to me.
Called the next day to see of I can get a refund so I can go elsewhere, two hours on the phone with Expedia/vrbo, and was told they called and emailed the property manager and are giving them 20mins to respond, if not they will call me back. No one called me back. Called again, and Expedia/vrbo said the property manager will call me to follow up with a resolution shortly. No one called me back.
The 2nd night was just as bad, no resolution not even a fan in this place.
Also, looks like it is at the end of a renovation, but not finished. The apartment is lacking a lot, and the tub/shower drain likes to randomly close, so you have to keep opening it during your shower. Towels were like 30 years old. And you can hear people below you talking at
