Welcome to one of the most beautiful, serene settings in West Michigan!! Set on the quiet Lake of the Clouds, this house has been updated with meticulous planning for your vacation needs! Plenty of space to explore inside and out along with all of your personal watercraft needs to enjoy this peaceful lake (no-low wake). We provide plenty of entertainment options (board/card games, a variety of books, video games, amazon echoes for music mixes, etc) and try to cover a lot of basics (paper consumables, kitchen cooking needs including most basic ingredients and spices and more) for our guests so they do not feel the need to bring too many things and can relax/enjoy the property:)

Annual Summer Family Vacation

Super clean and nice home that had everything we needed . Everyone had a great time, the kids loved the beach, fishing, smores, swimming, kajaking, canoeing, walks and the kittens down the road. We will be back!

Beautiful

Chad was a great host. Home is perfect for a golf group or a family wanting to enjoy the lake and outdoors. Home is very clean. Tons of fun amenities for adults and kids. We’ll be scheduling another trip next year! Golf courses in area are amazing. Be sure to include Pilgrims Run along with Tullymore and St. Ives.

Amazing lake home

The home was nicely decorated, had great use of space and was equipped with everything you might need. We used the paddle boards and kayaks every day and had some great bonfires. The large deck had lots of comfortable seating and a great view of the lake. There were some nice restaurants nearby and we enjoyed Gwin Girls winery. Hoping to come back sometime soon!

Family fun at lake of the clouds!

Great host, and the house was amazing! They thought of everything! The beach was the favorite spot, and the best part was the paddle boards, peddle boat, canoe, and row boat! 9 of us fit comfortably for 5 nights. The 2000 piece start wars puzzle was too intense and we did not win!

Lake Time

The property has every amenity to fully enjoy a lake vacation. The house is spacious and comfortable. The beach area , with 2 docks, was a big hit with the adults and kids. We used every water item ( all provided) and they enhanced each day. The fishing was fun for the 2 three year olds and our 5 year old. The fire pit completed each day. Great host !

Perfect Getaway

The house was clean, very well stocked! Grocery store was close by if we needed anything. The kids LOVED the little beach area and would spend most of the day there or in the water! The little raft in the lake was great too. Overall amazing stay and would easily book with Chad again.

Fabulous Lake House

My husband and I took our adult kids and two grandchildren to this vacation rental. This house is beautiful and amazing! I can tell you Chad has thought of EVERYTHING. We did not think of one thing we needed that was not available at this house. Everything was top end. The decor was so adorable. The two year old had a blast playing on the beautiful sandy beach. We fed the fish crackers and our grandson was so excited. Its an amazing place to stay for a Michigan lake vacation!!

Gorgeous lake house

We had the most relaxing stay on our family vacation. The house was better than we imagined and the lake was so serene. We loved kayaking and paddle boarding as well as fishing. The house was very well stocked with all that we needed.

Amazing Home

Beautiful home on a spectacular lake. Chad thought of everything and there was never a dull moment with all the lake activities and amenities the home offers. Grocery shopping was easy, house was clean, and communication with owner was fantastic. Highly recommend this property for a family vacation!

Amazon Stay!

My family had an amazing stay at Chad’s property, it was very clean and he was very responsive. The beach was great for the kiddos and the older ones enjoyed a kayak and paddle board across the lake. Many different hang out spots the deck, the fire pit and the beach. We also enjoyed the indoor pool Canadian lakes has as the mornings were chilly. Highly recommend

Weekend getaway

Our family had the best weekend here! The kayaks, peddle boat, and fishing boat were the best part for the kids. My granddaughter loved the beach area, the beach toys, and swimming. I forgot her life vest, but Chad had a variety of them available to use. I can say, we will certainly vacation here again! Thank you Chad for opening your beautiful home to our family. Jennie

BEST Rental Property EVER!

This property was well-appointed and perfect for families with children. There is plenty of comfortable seating inside/outside, and it is stocked with tons of water toys (paddle board, canoe, etc), games, fire pit, etc. The deck & beach are lovely and feel like an extension of the house. The unit was spotless and comfortable, and the owner was very helpful and accommodating. The views are stunning, lake views from every angle. A few short steps and you can jump right in the lake. Home looks & feels professionally decorated. The kitchen was very high end and it was a joy cooking there. The location was perfect, grocery store less than 2 miles away. We will 100% be staying here again! In fact we wish we never had to leave!!

Woodsy lakefront lodging with the comfort of upgraded amenities!

We've started a tradition of taking our adult children, their spouses, and our grandkids to a lake house for a mini vacation in the summer. It's always a challenge to find just the right place to satisfy everyone. Chad's place was a great location for us to be together. We loved the quiet of a peaceful lake and really appreciated the beach and sandy swim area. The older kids really enjoyed jumping off the platform. There are so many options available to get out and enjoy the water. The large deck off the house was WONDERFUL.....comfy furniture and a beautiful view of the lake. For the times we wanted to be closer to the kiddos in the water, the deck around the firepit with adirondack chairs was oh so comfortable. Plenty of towels for the 10 of us, but the washer and dryer came in very handy. At first the refrigerator seemed a bit small, but then we found the one downstairs and had no trouble having enough room. You can tell Chad knows what people appreciate when renting and goes that little extra to make things convenient and comfortable. One morning we used the community indoor pool and were quite happy at the cleanliness and lack of excessive chlorine in the water. We're so glad we found this great rental!

Perfect Vacation Retreat

Our family of 6 (parents with adult kids) had a wonderful, relaxing vacation enjoying this well-appointed, perfectly clean, abundantly comfortable lake home. We loved the stocked kitchen & 2 bbqs to cook meals, which we enjoyed at the huge dining table overlooking the lake (when it rained, we had plenty of room in the dining room). The outdoor lighting at night created a warm ambiance. The deck near the lake was perfect for curling up with a book & for bonfires. All of the watercraft was in great condition and we used everything – viewed stunning sunsets on the water & we fished from the dock, the shore & out on the lake. The bedrooms were nicely decorated - individually themed with well-designed storage & ceiling fans. Towels & linens were plush & like new & the beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the washer & dryer as well as firewood. We utilized the Alexas, tvs, games, puzzles & dart board - Ticket to Ride game was a favorite! We had a delicious dinner at Antlers. We walked at a river park & kids went disc golfing in Big Rapids; also went to Soaring Eagle Casino & the Ziibiwing Center Museum (excellent). The grocery store 3 minutes away had all we needed. We drove by the pool and saw the crowded, busy lakes and we were glad we chose the peaceful lake we did. Thank you to our hosts - great communication & you really thought of every detail in creating a lovely and functional home for a memorable lakehouse vacation!

Girl's Trip

The property was great and had everything we needed for a good time. Teh property is well kept, and we enjoyed the outside as much as the inside. Great view of the lake. Please note that there are not 2 beds in each bedroom. This was not a problem for us, but could be for someone else.

I wish I was still there!

This was a great place to stay. One of the best I've ever been to. Whatever we needed was there and then some! Every need was thoughtfully provided for. It was so quiet and peaceful. Because of that I was a little nervous with my very active and loud 2 and 3 year old grandchildren, but felt better when some construction started next door on the 2nd day. The radio, saws, and hammers were much louder than a couple little ones! (The job was not finished but we never saw them again after the one day). We appreciated that the gates on the deck locked so we didn't have to worry about the little ones escaping. They loved the beach area. Those that took the kayaks out really enjoyed paddling on the peaceful lake. There are steps to get down to the house and it is a bit steep to walk down to the lake which can be a concern if you have mobility issues like I do. I have MS and I did make it down to the fire pit once, but I really was content to spend a lot of time on the deck drinking in the beautiful scenery. This truly is a stunning place inside and out. Chad is very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed our vacation time at this gem in the Canadian Lakes.

Amazing Location - Great Host

The property is absolutely amazing and is well stocked with all sorts of activities for adults and kids. House was clean and check in process was smooth with great preparation and attention to detail with what to expect at your stay. We will definitely come back again.

Amazing quiet lake house

Very clean and modern lake house that had everything we needed for our family for a 4 night trip! Good Wi-Fi and streaming services. The lake was beautiful and we really enjoyed the paddle boat and kayaks with the great sand beach area they have next to the dock. Beds were comfortable and this house has real furniture unlike a few places we have stayed in the past. Will definitely come back. Host had great communication and answered any and all questions quickly!

What a find!

When you first pull up, you see the beautiful lake and the house is nice, but unassuming. Then you walk in the front door and you're completely caught off guard. It is incredible. Clean, bright, and well decorated. Someone spent a great deal of time planning this home's layout as it uses every portion of space it can in the best manner possible. This includes the deck outside as well as the separate fire pit area. Owner even provided two types of kindling, firewood and starter logs. Only way to make it easier is if they'd show up and start the fire for us! Kayaks and paddles boards are higher end quality and in great condition. Then there's the small rowboat with padded chairs for great fishing. Owners were responsive to any questions we had.
