Sunbeam Retreat is a deluxe vacation home that’s perfect for families or groups of up to 10 people. This home features two living areas with flat-screen TVs. The main level living area features a high ceiling and windows letting in great natural light, comfortable leather seating, and a gas fireplace. The second living area downstairs is a wonderful place for the kids to watch a movie while the adults enjoy some quiet time upstairs.

The fully equipped kitchen has granite counters, a gas range, and all the gear you’ll need to keep the group happy and fed. The dining room table seats eight, and there’s room for three more at the breakfast bar. You’ll also enjoy the deck with a gas barbeque grill; it’s the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the Rocky Mountains!

This home also features a two-car garage (plus two driveway parking spaces), a washer and dryer, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Plus, all Summit Mountain Rentals properties are professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival and are stocked with hotel-like toiletries and linens. House was very well kept and perfect for our group. Very close to town and the mountain for skiing as well which made it very easy for us to get around. Highly recommend!

Great stay

It was a little fuzzy at first the door code wasn’t working and it took a bit to get it going but we were able to get into the garage. The house was amazing and super close to town. Perfect for our family.

Great 3 Week Stay!

Our family really enjoyed the property! Great location on a quiet street in a cul-de-sac. Kids (3 - 7 years old) enjoyed riding their bikes on the quiet street. Location is great to walk to nearby parks, trails, and the restaurants and shops on Main Street. Highly recommend!

Great location and spacious home

The home was clean upon arriving with plenty of space for a large family. Location is perfect with being a short walk to Main Street and 5 min drive to the lifts and ski rentals. Neighborhood is also great for kids- quiet street with a 3 min walk to a sledding hill! Would definitely stay here again when we visit Breckenridge Thank you for a great experience.

Great location and layout

We loved staying here! There were 7 adults and we had plenty of space to spread out. We all liked that there were no bedrooms on the main level, so people could stay up late or get up early and not worry about waking others. Very comfortable beds. Communication with host was easy and efficient. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Plenty of room and living area had great recliners. Location was excellent. Lock on front door did not work so we just used the garage. Supplies were just right for our stay.

Great ski house rental

Great location for skiing Breckenridge. The Blue line shuttle is just a block away and drops you off at the Gondola or Beaver Run lift - super easy. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Very comfortable for our 2 families / 10 people. Communication with Summit Rentals was great and they were quick to respond to a few questions.

Nice place, great location

Our family of three generations (six adults and 3 children) stayed here in August. There are two playgrounds close by, which was ideal for the little ones. Also very easy to walk into downtown and to the gondola. House is spacious and full of amenities. Front-door lock didn't work and the downstairs toilet ran continually but management was quick to address the issues.

Summer family vacation

This property comes with mixed reviews. The location is fantastic, only a short walk to town and local park, playground, etc. The neighborhood itself is very quiet and cute. However, this home is clearly outdated when compared to its neighbors. The floor plan is great for a large family, but walls are thin, thin windows allow lots of nearby road noise to enter the home, poor ventilation in the kitchen, and the heating system is old and not easily adjustable, especially in the basement. Most beds are “updated” with memory foam mats, but not high quality mattresses. In the basement, several of the window screens had holes in them, and there was evidence of rodents. The property manager was immediately informed of this, and is responding accordingly, but future tenants should be aware of and inquire about this issue. Overall, we had a good experience despite the above issues, to which the property manager was extremely responsive to (eg, fixed broken screens same day).

It was nice until there was no heat or hot water

The house suited our family. The mattress toppers on the beds were not very comfortable and made it very difficult to roll over. There were also no wash clothes -made it difficult to was your face. The management company was very responsive when we notified them about the water filter and broken towel rod. Kitchen could have been a little better equipped (more utensils, full sized glasses (not just highball glasses), and a k-cup style of coffee maker would have been helpful. We only had 2 coffee drinkers but had to buy a bag of coffee then no one could figure out how to use the coffeemaker so we had to hit 7-11 each morning. Wasted a bag of coffee. Then on day 4, we came back from a day of skiing and had no heat or hot water. The management company delivered space heaters to get us through the 10 degree night. By morning, it was below 50 degrees in the main part of the house. The management company was notified at 6:30 on Saturday night but they were not able to provide us anywhere with hot water to shower until the next morning. By then we were back on the mountain. Ultimately, the management company called offered another house to move to.

FANTASTIC family vacation home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a magical vacation our family just experienced while staying at this lovely (and huge!) mountain home. Gorgeous snow-globe-like views from every window and just a short walk to downtown Breck. Too chilly to walk? No problem! Jump on one of the many free buses/shuttles that stop right by the house to hit the slopes or head to town. This beautiful home was warm, cozy and very spacious for our family of 9. Everything was exactly as described and pictured. We felt like we were in a VRBO commercial! Three couples, one teenager, one grandma, and one toddler. Everyone had their own space when they wanted to retreat, which made sharing great meals, games, and movies together all the more fun. Breck is a winter wonderland and we enjoyed every minute!

Great week in Breck with friends.

The house was great for 2 families for a total of 9. The location was great as we were able to take about an 8 minute or less walk to town and shops/restaurants, which is very convenient as you have to pay to park just about anywhere. The house was very clean and the property manager was very attentive to questions. There is a nice deck where we could watch what seemed to be a resident fox almost every day. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and all had a bed to sleep in. There is one king master upstairs, with 2 more bedrooms (king and queen) sharing a full hall bath. There is also a full bath on main floor with shower. The basement has 2 bedrooms and full bath with another living area which is great for kids. Would definitely recommend!

Close to playgrounds and town

Plenty of room in the rental for our group of 9. Within walking distance to town, playgrounds and Isak the troll - even for our 2 year old. In a neighborhood but a private feel to it.
