This rare gem is both historic and one of a kind. The log cabin sits on 5 acres of beautiful land in the country with 2.5 acre fenced area. Central to Gettysburg, Baltimore, and Washington, DC. It's rustic with all the benefits of upscale modern appliances and amenities, including a super automatic espresso coffee machine, down pillows and bedding, memory foam mattresses, dishwasher, and a washer and dryer. With every visit you will be welcomed with a free bottle of wine.

We had a great time relaxing at the historic property. Daisy, our yellow lab, loved to run around in the fenced in yard and the evenings were quiet and peaceful!

Nice property

The house is really cute. My Mom loved it. The outside bedroom in the summer kitchen was nice but musty smelling and messed with all of our allergies.

Relaxing Retreat

Our small group of 4 recently stayed in this beautifully restored cabin, along with our dogs, when we came into town for a big Agility trial close by. What a treat it was to stay in someplace so calm and spacious, instead of a crowded, cookie cutter hotel, or motel!Our host was quick to respond with any questions we had from the moment we first wanted to book you accommodation.

Comfortable and cozy

My family enjoyed our time here! My kids loved the yard. There was everything we needed in the kitchen and I loved the coffee machine I would love to know the history of the home.

Perfect little getaway

We were super excited to stay in such a charming historic cabin. Felt like staying at an old family homestead. The rental is furnished with absolutely everything you could possibly need if staying with dogs or family. We really appreciated all the character and thoughtfulness put into the property.

Dog Breeding

Second time staying in the cabin. It is delightful and cozy. We would certainly stay a third time.The dogs loved the fenced in yard where they can run freely. Everyone had a great time.

Lovely spot

Charming cabin with beautiful interior. Host was very responsive and accommodating for graduation party we had outdoors. It was a perfect garden setting to mingle and socialize. Very close to town too! Very happy with out stay.

Great cabin!

This place has a lot of charm! It’s decorated nicely and has lots of upgrades. We loved the combination of new and rustic! The kids got a kick out of the slanted floors and the bidet! We had a great 2 night stay with 6 people. I highly recommend this cozy cabin.

Gorgeous Property!

Linda has an amazing little spot in Carroll County. It's close enough to Westminster to hop down and grab some supplies, but far enough from civilization to enjoy the wilderness. The neighborhood is quiet, the cabin is a cute little joy, and the bumble bees are a treat.

3 day get away with 3 kids and 2 dogs

Everything was just as advertised. Serene, peaceful, and beautiful property. Short ride to Gettysburg, but also amazing enough to sit a round the firepit. Amenities were more than ample. Rustic, but all the modern things needed for a family of 5. We never even watched TV once, which is rare.

Enchanting cabin

Wonderful experience for Gracie (my dog) and me. Linda was available whenever I had any questions. She also anticipated a guest’s every need! Beautiful Historic Cabin

This cabin was just perfect! It was beautifully decorated with both the old & modern look. The cabin included all the cooking essentials we needed for our stay. The host was quick to respond with any questions. The place was super clean! We brought our 2 Golden Retriever girls with us & the fenced in field was perfect for playing fetch! They absolutely loved it! I loved the slanted floors & the old farmhouse appearance! I highly recommend this cabin! â€ïžđŸŸđŸ„° The grocery store & other stores were only about 10 minutes away which was also great! I wish our stay was longer! Definitely will be back again! 💗

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

When we were downsizing after our children left the nest, we found the beautiful gem that we fell in love with immediately. We lived here for 5 years, farming the land (first time farmers), and really got connected with the place. When we moved, I couldn't imagine giving it up, so we decided to turn it into a rental because we thought others would enjoy it as much as we did.

When you stay here you get a unique opportunity to experience the past with the benefits of modern amenities. The cabin and cottage are filled with fairy lights on the ceilings, giving the place a magical glow. It's located on beautiful 5 acres with large trees and spacious grasslands to run and play.
