I gave this a 2-star rating only because the location and the building were great. Apartment was clean and quiet. It was a huge surprise that there was no WIFI and it was clearly listed in the amenities. In my experience, there is often a manual with info on how to operate appliances, what to do at check-out and the wifi password. There was not a manual and when I called the host, she told me there wasn't wifi. There was a missing bolt on the toilet seat making it swivel. Worse than that, the toilet lid did not have room to stand upright; you had to balance it on your back when you took a seat. There were tons of personal effects including food items. I am accustomed to using coffee, sugar, etc. that had been left behind by other renters, but food items must have belonged to the owner. There should be a note indicating that this shouldn't be touched. The host charged me 50 euros for a bottle of wine that I opened; again it was out in the open and I thought (from previous experience) that the host left it for rentals OR it was left by previous travelers. My mistake. You live and learn.
