Find out why our guests keep coming back year after year. 6 Bedroom plus 2 bonus rooms. Each bonus room has 2 twin beds. Every bedroom has a TV. A great place for your rehearsal dinner. The larger game room (about 1500 square feet) has optional tables and chairs for your event or rehearsal dinner. This can accommodate about 40 people. See house rules for event pricing. Beautiful Designer Country Oasis w/gorgeous Pool & Hot tub on acreage. Outdoor Pickleball Court. Warm yourself by the outdoor fireplace from the original TX Homestead. Relax/unwind, lounging by the sparkling pool (usually professionally serviced on Mondays or Tuesdays) & glow of the fire pit. Returning guests rave about the game options: One of the TV's has 40,000 games on it, Arcades, 8' Pool table, Ping Pong, Shuffleboard, Poker Table, darts, foosball, BBQ, Disk Golf. 6 bedrooms (3 up/3 down) & 3 baths. 18 mi to the Stockyards, 20 mins to Weatherford. See below for costs/advance notice for heating pool. Private Gated Property on acreage. Parking for up to 15 cars. Dozens of 5 star reviews on that "other" travel website! Some of the twin beds listed are roll around singles, but they are pretty comfortable. Arcade games, 8’ Pool table, 2 Ping Pong tables, Shuffleboard, Poker Table, swimming pool, darts, foosball, BBQ, Fire Pit, Frisbee Golf, & the list goes on. 6 bedrooms (3 up and 3 down - All the bedrooms are good size). Not including 2 kids play room’s. 3 full baths. Dream kitchen! Beautifully remodeled! Gated entrance. We are about 18 miles from the Stockyards in Ft Worth, 13 mi to Weatherford & 7 mi to Azle. We are about 10 minutes to the Brooks Wedding Venue. The detached hot tub is always free and on! The swim spa (connected to pool) can be heated to 80, for $35 a night. The pool can be heated to 80 degrees for $35 a night. The heating on spa or pool is with a 3 night minimum. The pool takes 72 hours to heat, depending on starting temperatures. We have a heat pump on the pool, and this is ONLY effective if the outside temperature is above 50 degrees. So keep this in mind! There is no natural gas in the country, so we couldn’t go with a gas heater. This gorgeous house sits on almost 4 acres. The garage has been converted to a game room. The 1500 sq foot metal shop has been converted to a game room, and 3/4 of the walls are insulated. The gas fireplace is only for looks, and does not work (no natural gas in the country)! This home is out in the country, so you might encounter insects, venomous snakes, wild animals, and poison ivy. Fenced Loafing shed for horses in back of property.

Amazing property perfect for a family gathering

This home has everything you need to entertain a large group. Many amenities and things to do so that there is something for everyone to enjoy. The beds were plentiful and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The outdoor area was spacious with plenty of scenic views. If you're looking for a place to getaway with friends or family to spend some quality time together, then this is the place for you.

Azle family wedding

It was a great place for all our family to stay with lots of nooks and crannies for the kids. Pool was refreshing and game room was fun. Few minor repairs/ updates needed.

We stayed for our daughters wedding that was in Weatherford TX 9/20. The hosts are Fantastic with communication and were so very gracious. They brought an extra cleaning person in to help us get in sooner than 5pm. They accommodated our horse for a night as well. Our family loved all the games. We had a few things that were not working or broken.A few things that would have made it a 5 star for everything are the following:Cookware is very limited or very old and used/warped we bought a few pans to use. The drawers where the pots and pans go were very dirty as well. The hosts had an extra cleaning person come in and they may have missed cleaning the drawers to help us get in sooner.Water has a very strong sulfur smell, mainly the kitchen water, so we bought water.Far lower bedroom that goes out to the patio bed is extremely uncomfortable and loud whenever you roll over. Probably fine for younger people but this is the king size bed.We did not use the extra hot tub, it had a bad smell and the water did not smell like it had proper chemicals in it, the test strip was not in a clean color zone. The pool is beautiful, the pool maintenance company needs to clean the green algae in the corners, the skimmers were packed full so the filtration was not working properly.Upstairs bathroom has a drawer that looks like a laundry shoot, it is NOT there were towels in it so guests before must have used it for dirty towels. We removed and washed them.

Great Activities and Outdoor Space!

The adults and kids were thrilled with the full size arcade machines (particularly Pac Man!), pool table, darts, ping pong table, air hockey table, and of course the outdoor swimming pool and hot tub! There were so many activities to partake in at this house! The AC did go out in the upstairs during our stay, and the homeowner provided small AC units to get us through the nights. Overall, a great stay!!

Perfect for Family Reunion

We had 23 people at our family reunion from infants to teens to adults. There was plenty of room for sleeping accommodations, the kitchen area was sufficient, but the living room area or gathering space was a bit small. However we didn't let that stop us from having a great time. The swimming pool was smaller than the picture shows. There were a few minor changes and house upgrades that could be made to make the stay more enjoyable, but overall we had a great time and the host was always quick to answer any questions.

Pictures do not represent the current condition of this property. Property is poorly maintained. The selling point for this property is the swimming pool and game rooms. The yard maintenance surrounding the pool was horrible the grass and shrubs, are over grown, leaves and debris everywhere around the pool, broken and mismatched lawn furniture, table on back porch is rotten had to be careful using it, ping pong table leg broken, pool table pockets had holes wouldn’t hold pool balls, game rooms where dirty, kitchen had bare minimum on pots and pans, you could not prepare a meal if you wanted to, head boards not attached to bed frames, light bulbs where out are missing in some rooms, over all appearance of the house is poor it truly needs maintenance and a deep clean. Pros for this house is it has plenty of rooms, ac was cold, swimming pool itself was great and host does respond to messages. This property is way overpriced for the current condition it is in. My family has been renting property from VRBO for 12 years this is the poorest maintained property we have stayed at. I gave a 3 star score because the family did enjoy the pool. We rented this house for a staycation it represented with the pictures of the pool and game rooms.

Overall it was a great stay! The property has so many fun amenities for the family to enjoy and the house has a ton of extra beds. It was a little odd that it could sleep so many but had a relatively small kitchen table and living room. We couldn’t fit all ten of us around the table nor on the couches in the living room. There were a few items that we were told were there, like a high chair and salt and pepper, but did not end up being there. However, the property owner was so kind and very promptly addressed our concerns and came over twice to fix some things/replace the missing items. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, but those few things would have made it even better!

Valentines weekend with our family and kiddos

Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary Gathering

This was a great place for our family to all come together to celebrate a fiftieth wedding anniversary. We had three generations and there were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. The host was very quick to respond to any question that we had. The only problem we had was the internet connection would come and go so the streaming TV would buffer a lot at times. Also, the listing boasts that it has 15 beds and can sleep up to 25 people, but there is an additional $10 per person fee after 8 people. This additional charge was a surprise to us in the details of the bill. We had a great time and would recommend this home for a similar event.

Good family vacation spot

Many things to do on the property, which kept the kids busy and out from under foot. The pool and hot tub were a big hit. Plenty of space and beds for our whole family. Close to lots of things to do.

Large country home.

Second time we have stayed here. We enjoy all there is to do. Plenty to keep all ages entertained. The kitchen is well stocked. I sat on the porch and watched deer, bunnies, a hawk and beautiful cardinals while drinking my coffee in the morning. But some of the rollaway beds are in sad condition and can't be used. The extra bedding was still damp in the closet. Dryer is very slow and only really dried anything on the Express setting. There is a nice hot tub since the one attached to the pool does not work. Not much extra toilet paper when you have a full house. Someone had to go get a few rolls. The host will send you lots of information on the area if you care to venture out.

Family reunion

Spent a long weekend here. The house was much as described, very clean and felt safe just a little run down. Pool was cloudy on our stay but given all the recent rain it was understandable. We still swam and enjoyed it! The big game garage is so cool but soooo hot in the summer. Great at night. Pickle ball court was a hit! Great property overall but a little maintenance would up its value so much. Def need new chairs on the back porch, that wooden table set is on its last leg.

Kids Favorite Part of the trip!

This house was perfect for our trip-the kids loved the pool and spent hours and hours in it. The game rooms were awesome, and the rest of the house was comfortable. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Graduation and Wedding Weekend

I was able to take my entire family down for a wedding in Ft Worth. This place was amazing! It had plenty of room for our clan! We had all sorts of things at the house to keep us busy! All of the amenities were great! Everything we needed was there. The owner was very responsive. No problems really. Great time!!!

Getting Ready for the Wedding

This beautiful, spacious home was only 9 min from The Brooks Ranch wedding venue in Weatherford, so it was a perfect place for us, the groom's family, to stay! The pool and hot tub were great. (We did pay for the heating option, since April weather is unpredictable). Our son, the groom, and his groomsmen got ready in the large air-conditioned barn/shed with a pool table, shuffle board, air hockey, poker table, etc... So lots of of different size/age groups would love staying here. We were able to relax and really enjoy the wedding week. Thank you.

Home away from home.

This place was our home away from home for Christmas. It was perfect for adults and lots of things to do for the kiddos. Games and the backyard for them to run around. Plenty of beds, blankets, pillows and towels. We saw a couple of deer in the back yard in the morning and night. Far from the city for quietness and close enough for a quick target run. We really enjoyed our stay. Paul was a great host, quick and easy communication. 10/10

Family Thanksgiving

What a great place to come. There ended up being 17 of us staying here and there was plenty of room and beds with more to spare. Paul is very attentive. We would defiantly stay again. The only thing I would have to say is that if you plan on cooking for a large group probably will need to bring some pans and baking dishes. But, would not keep us from renting again.
