The best of Deep Creek Lake is yours to experience at this three-bedroom home in McHenry, an expansive, well-located escape with rolling lawns, sweeping views from the wrap-around porch, and a private, stocked fishing pond to enjoy all summer. Enjoy a CARC Membership with access to a pool, hot tubs, and gym area.

You'll find this home just about two miles from the northern shores of Deep Creek Lake, with the back slopes of Wisp Resort, just a mile away, visible from the porch. All sorts of activities are within minutes of the house, including whitewater rafting, boat rentals, wedding venues, county fairgrounds, ski slopes, and lakefront beaches.

A covered front porch with wood rocking chairs offers classic country charm. Inside, you'll find the home fully equipped with all the comforts and essentials you need. The kitchen is outfitted with stainless steel appliances and plentiful cabinet storage, and a dining table has seating for up to eight. The living room features plush sofas positioned in front of a flatscreen TV, perfect for family gatherings and movie nights. For chilly nights, the gas fireplace provides added ambience and warmth. Glass doors lead to the other side of the wrap-around porch, with additional seating and gorgeous views of the pond. Enjoy morning coffees and evening cocktails while watching the blue heron, deer, and other wildlife that frequent the pond.

The other outdoor areas are equally special, including a firepit in the grass encircled by Adirondack chairs, a gas grill for summer barbecues, and a patio with a fire table and cushioned seating. Challenge each other to a game of cornhole with the set provided. You can cap each evening back inside in the ground-floor game room, which features a pool table, a dart board, and another TV area with a wood stove. When it's time to turn in, there's one bedroom on the ground floor, two more bedrooms upstairs, and a full bathroom on each level.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is a small apartment that shares the parking lot. Do not be alarmed if you see other people there during your stay.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
