Welcome to Banyan Tree 200. This stunning condo offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, providing the perfect backdrop for your Hawaiian getaway. With its prime location, you can enjoy the soothing sounds of the waves and the gentle ocean breeze right from your wraparound lanai.

This spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests, making it ideal for families or couples seeking a romantic escape. The main suite features a luxurious king-sized bed, while the guest bedroom offers a comfortable queen-sized bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep for everyone.

**Banyan Tree 200 is a split level condo. While it requires no stairs to get from the condo to the unit, there are 2 steps with handrail between the kitchen/hall into the living room.

Banyan Tree 200 boasts a well-equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances such as a refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, and coffee maker, allowing you to prepare delicious meals during your stay. The dining area provides a lovely space to enjoy your culinary creations, while the inviting living area is perfect for relaxation and entertainment, featuring a television and cable/satellite access.

Step outside to the outdoor space, where you can soak up the sun or enjoy al fresco dining on the lanai. The property also features a communal heated outdoor pool, perfect for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring.

For your comfort and convenience, the condo is equipped with air conditioning, high-speed internet access, and laundry facilities, including a washer and dryer. Safety features such as smoke detectors and emergency contact information ensure peace of mind during your stay.

Beach gear: this unit comes equipped with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and a small cooler for guests use. It may or may not have some snorkel gear that was left by previous guests. We loved everything about the condo. The beach view was amazing. Watching surfers all day was fun! Oh, and the waves at Magic Sands were the biggest and strongest waves we had ever swam in. We would highly recommend this place.

Good location - not too far from central activity nor too close. We enjoyed the near all day surfing activity which peaked early am and just before dusk. The amenities were perfect for our stay.

Fun and relaxing

The location was great; close to Kailua but not in the center of town where all the crowds were. You can sit on the balcony and watch the surfers each morning and evening.

This was a beautiful property, nicely updated and well equipped with anything we needed (maybe mention on the site that the beach chairs are in the bedroom closet). The view can't be beat!! Hands down, the nicest VRBO we have stayed at.

A Wonderful place to stay!

Beautiful place to wake up to every morning and enjoy the spectacular views and return to after a busy day to breath taking sunsets! There was one maintenance problem with a broken garbage disposal and outlet.

Location, location, location. Amazing ocean views. Very clean and well appointed. Tracey was an amazing host. Hope I'm fortunate enough to stay here again in the future. I highly recommend this beautiful rental.

This is an excellent condo in a great location. It felt like we had the entire complex to ourselves. The pool and hot tub was never overcrowded. It is fun to watch the surfers all day! Thank you! We will be back for sure!

Beautiful View and Very Comfortable

This is a lovely apartment with comfortable furnishings. Having breakfast while watching the early morning surfers was a great way to start the day and the sunsets the best way to end it. Be aware that there is no AC in the main bedroom and it can get a little stuffy. Seriously, that was barely an issue and our stay was wonderful. If we make it back to Big Island again, we'd definitely stay here again.

Perfect escape

I was happily surprised with how stunning the accommodation was. Immaculate and beautifully furnished. It is literally situated right on the waterfront. Absolutely stunning sunsets viewed from our lounge and balcony. Could sit all day just enjoying the view. The bed was extremely comfortable, haven't slept so well for a long time. Didn't want to leave, so relaxing. Will definitely be coming back.

Very nice condo. Spectacular views. Responsive owner. Well stocked kitchen and bedding, although we could have used a working can opener and a soup ladle. The market across the street would have been nice, but it was closed for repairs (with no notice). The hot tub appeared to be closed, but we never got around to calling the owner to ask. It was a joy to watch the surfers out the huge picture window.

3 Island Special Vacation

The Big Island and our stay at Banyan Tree 200 was the last leg of our vacation and the stay at the Banyan Tree complex was excellent. We love the smaller complex feel and the unit and view were outstanding. That full picture window when you walk in and see the waves and surfers right outside were amazing. The unit had everything that we needed and was a cozy and inviting place to come "home" to after a day of exploring the beautiful island. The location itself was great close to town, grocery stores and main roads to get around. We plan to return one day to the Big Island we we would once again stay at Banyan Tree complex.

Spectacular View

Our second stay and the view is still spectacular as soon as you walk in. Our first visit under new management and the condo was very tidy, very clean and well stocked. There are touches of new décor which are fresh and modern and we understand there is more to come now that travel is open to the owners after a two year hiatus due to the pandemic. The high surf advisory during our stay provided hours of entertainment of some of the best surfers on the Island. We love the atmosphere of this smaller boutique complex and have already booked to return next year.

Hawaiian fun

The location of this condo was excellent. Right on the beach. We could watch the surfers right from our lanai. The only disappointing thing was the air conditioning. There was an A/C unit in the living room however there was no air conditioning in the master bedroom, just a overhead fan and standing fan and the second bedroom A/C was broken therefore they only had an overhead fan. The kitchen was well stocked. Furniture was comfortable. Beds were comfortable. I'd stay there again if they could get air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: PROS: Great view of the surfers, sea turtles and an occasional whale. Convenient parking. Kona Coast Vacations very easy to work with. CONS: There are steps in the unit and not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. Adjacent to a park with a lot of talking late into the night.

Gorgeous view and lovely space!

Lovely two bedroom space perfect for 2 adult couples. The view was incredible! The wrap around lanai was perfect! The sound of the waves lulled us to peacefulness and the tv was never on! The beds were very comfortable and there are labels around the place that guide you to switches and various comforts of home. The management property provides you with a small kitchen pack that has dish and laundry soap. There's also a small box for the bathrooms with various soaps and such.The building, like most places on the island is dated. It was built in the 1970s. But the owners of the condo have put some work into updating the space. It's clean and bright with good lighting. The beds were comfy and the furniture was nice too. The 2 chairs look out through the big picture window and it's perfect!Towels, beach towels, trash bags, beach chairs, and even some coffee and various spices are at your disposal. There's also a small hose on the lanai for rinsing off shoes and sanding things. Parking included. The place was very, very nice! It met our expectations. It was very conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to be too. I was very happy with the space and would love to come back.

Sunset Oceanfront In Paradise

Having stayed in September the condo complex was less busy which was nice and really quiet. The condo is located right on the ocean! The wrap around lanai has a counter top bar and chairs which allows you to enjoy your morning coffee/breakfast and watch the surfers all day. We enjoyed many suppers and watch the sunset from this area as well. The condo has a/c in main area, but we didn't use much. There are two sliding doors and you can get a nice breeze going through. Second bedroom also has a/c which was also seldomly used. Kitchen has everything you need to cook easy meals and prepare quick lunches/snacks for the day. Da Poke Shack is 100 yards down the road and is awesome!!! Magic Sands beach is about 0.9 miles down the road and a nice 15 min walk. There is free parking across the road if you want to load up your vehicle. Pool and hot tub were good and bbq's onsite were cleaned daily. The only small disappointment was a boogie board was not provided (purchased one and left for future guests) and some of the beach chairs were not in good working order. However, we were able to use two of the chairs and the umbrellas. Overall, we were very happy with this condo and would definitely recommend as a rental property to consider!!

Piece of Heaven

This was our second stay at Banyan tree 200! We love everything about this home and are looking forward to returning next year. The view from the home is amazing, right on the water. Every morning and evening we watched surfers , listened to the rhythmic crashing of the waves, watched crabs scale the stone wall and viewed the spectacular sunsets, what more could you ask for ? The location is excellent , I walked every morning past Magic Sands and Kahalu"u beaches with the smell of plumeria filling the air. Tracy and the owners are great. I won't stay anywhere else.

Good location and great view. The kitchen is well supplied and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was drained twice when we went to use itThe master bath has some staining in the tub and poor quality repairs. A couple of kitchen tiles are cracked. Some less obvious areas were quite dusty, lamps, light fixtures, etc. It was a decent stay overall but I wouldn't stay here again.

Wonderful Experience

I truly enjoyed my staycation to recharge my energy. Super clean unit and so grateful for the thoughtful amenity items in the kitchen and bathroom. I felt so much aloha from management company.
