You’ll be close to everything in the capital, but far enough to enjoy a relaxing trip. Awake refreshed and ready for a day exploring the city via this clean, sunshine filled home with an impressive view. Cook in your own kitchen, clean up in the remodeled bathroom, and sink into the soft bed after seeing the city.

Beach Trip

Great condo. Very well appointed and the location is great. Small complex which we like. Close to the beach. Our second stay in the unit.

Wonderful stay

The stay was nice. Two nice bedrooms with comfortable Californian king beds. The Shower was huge, love the rainfall style shower. Very clean, my stay was at the beginning of spring so the pollen was very high and covered my car. A little landscaping around the house would make the place perfect, but I would definitely recommend and return.

Visit to a grandson.

This is a very comfortable house with a great view. A rustic cottage in the middle of the city. It was very close to my son's house. Amenities were available but a few miles away. I'd stay there again.

Peaceful and beautiful

The little cabin was just what we needed. The place is absolutely amazing. So peaceful and on a beautiful lake. Host was amazing and very quick to respond. Worth the money and the trip down

Fort Jackson graduation stay

We wanted a restful place close to Fort Jackson for my son's graduation and this was perfect. It was at most 15 minutes away and a perfect place to come back to with our other adult son to relax after busy days. Our hosts gave us our space but were easily accessible.

Perfect place to stay for Fort Jackson Family Day/Graduation

My kids and I stayed here for about 5 days for my daughter’s family day and graduation from BCT. The location is great - so close to Gate 2. Easy to drive around and find all amenities we needed. The house was great for us - beds super comfy, great shower and lovely view of the lake. Thank you for having us!

Army Graduation

We enjoyed looking at the lake every chance we could ( we are water people ). Although we arrived much later than we had expected. While I went to my son’s graduation at fort Jackson, my husband and mother in law stayed until I was able to return. I feel their only thing was not being able to watch local news. My time Wednesday and Thursday was all about my son. Very close to where I needed to be at 7:30am.

Nice & Quiet

Cozy, relaxing getaway

Beautiful, quiet & relaxing experience. Everything was clean, organized and well furnished. Such a relaxing atmosphere and enjoyed watching the wildlife on the lake. We highly recommend this beautiful secluded house. Would definitely come back for a relaxing, stress free stay.

Visiting family

Such a cozy lake house. Everything was very nice and as described. We loved sitting in the screened in porch enjoying the calm lake and quite surroundings. The beds were sooo comfy!! Our hosts were wonderful would stay there again if available when visiting family.

Perfect Location

This is the perfect location for us to stay while in town for our sons basic training graduation from Fort Jackson. It was close to the base and the perfect place for him to return to after graduation. The comfortable beds, screened in porch that overlooked the lake and the luxurious shower was exactly what he needed after 10 weeks at basic training. The kitchen was big and I was able to make him a home cooked meal. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We had a great long weekend stay.

Great views and location

Great for a quick 2 night stay. good location central to most things. The property could use some upgrades but overall was very happy and would easily consider staying again. Appreciate the labeling on the switches as there were so many it would have been impossible to understand without the labels

Gate house

Location to downtown Columbia is excellent, lots of nearby stores. Loved the screened in back porch. Kitchen could use an upgrade. Walk way to front door is in need of leveling but not impassable. Very quiet and laid back place to safe.

We are a pair of young educators with three children and two dogs. We love to travel and see new places and host events for our friends/family in our home. We are excited to explore the short term rental world and look forward to having you stay with us!

Enjoy staying in our private guest house. Myself, my husband, our three children, and our 2 dogs live on the property, but are committed to providing our guests their privacy. Our dog remains in the main house and only comes out while leashed. He does not go in or near the guesthouse. Relax and find comfort in the park like setting that is our backyard.

Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening on our covered deck. Take in the beautiful water view during your stay. Also, enjoy games with the family and a comfy bed at night that you can adjust to your liking!

There is a lake located at the back of the property, but no one is permitted access at this time. If you find yourself admiring the view from the dock, please be aware that it is in need of repair, but it is safe to stand on.
