Come stay in "The Nest", one of our cozy cabins nestled on the river bank of the Rio Grande River. "The Poker Cabin" Vrbo 4065808 and "Picabo Place" Vrbo 2260903 are also located on the property for larger groups. Enjoy 1/3 mile of private river fishing access right outside your door! Fly Fishing and Catch and Release Only. Sorry we do not allow ATV's or UTV's. Stay in this historic cabin and enjoy the original cook stove, newly remodeled bathhouse steps from your door (please note your private bathroom is located in the bathhouse, a short distance from your cabin), comfy new bed, small kitchen stocked for your cooking needs, outdoor grill and access to washer and dryer. Only 2 miles from Historic Creede for shopping, dining, Bachelor Loop tour, Creede Reperatory Theatre, numerous adventures close by, such as hiking, biking, fishing, site seeing or simply relaxing.

Place was excellent very clean upon arrival. Awesome place to come and relax and enjoy the peacefulness. Owners were very quick in response to any questions. Great location just minutes from town. We plan to come back again to enjoy rhe area.

The view, price, and cleanliness were exceptional. However the bathroom situation was a bit disingenuous. The property description said clean private bathroom. The missinig word here is "detached". If I weren't 74 and ambulatorily challenged a 100 ft walk to the bathroom would not have mattered. However it was a great value and the views were excellent. Check in was easy and the area is beautiful.

Wonderful property and hosts

My son and I had a wonderful time fly fishing in the Creede area. This was the perfect location to access the town of Creede as well as the incredible surrounding mountains and streams.

Great location, relaxing

We loved our stay here. Easy to communicate with the owners, nice quite location on the river. Easy to relax and easy to get into town. Would definitely recommend and we will probably be back!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The cabin was really clean and comfy. The property is so beautiful and peaceful and immaculately maintained. Shirrae and JD were super nice and JD gave us great suggestions for our offroad adventures in the area. We would recommend The Nest to anyone who appreciates getting away from the crowd.

Lovely stay

It's a nice, quiet spot with access to the river. The bed was very comfortable and the place was spotless. Pretty close to town where we enjoyed a show at the Creede Repertory Theater. Lots of good hikes nearby.

The bed is very comfortable and it's stocked with everything we needed. It rained most of the time we were there so we didn't get outside much to enjoy the river.

Unique cabin and property

We stayed here while recovering from climbing 14ers. This cabin is remarkably better than any standard hotel. The owner was super polite and knowledgeable about the region.

Absolutely stunning views the river at your front door

Beautiful area, property was amazing fall a sleep listening to the river, deer everywhere we had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back
