Nestled along the river front sits the coziest escape! All on one level, with great views from every room. River boat landing within 5 miles to the south! Bedroom one features a queen bed, electric fireplace, & a view you can’t wait to wake up to! Bedroom two features two full beds, also perched along the river side for bright, cozy mornings. Open area features electric fireplace, large TV, WiFi, large sofa (that could sleep one), dining table, & desk area. Home includes laundry use, Full bathroom, & Full kitchen featuring: microwave, oven/range, refrigerator, withcomplimentary coffee. Please make note there is a semi busy State Hwy on west side of property. I bet you’ll forget once you settle in to the close proximity to the river on the east. Within a few miles of Cornell grocery store, Old Abe trail, Brunet Island State Park, which offers hiking, cross country skiing, plus outdoor fun! Close proximity to Lake Holcombe, Jim Falls, Chippewa Falls, & not far from snowmobile trails, & boat landing! Two kayaks on property for guest use. Let “The River Den” be your place to get away!

Nice!

We had a great stay at this property. We were in the middle of a 2 week tent camping trip and stayed for 3 nights. Washer and dryer worked well and the place provided all the comforts of home. View was beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay at the river den this last weekend! It was a relaxing, much needed little family getaway. The patio was our favorite hangout spot with the gorgeous view of the river!

Riverden stay

The place was very clean and well stocked. For our dog, it was to close to the busy highway. Busy and traffic was very lound and fast. The main bedroom was okay, bed was not comfortable

River Cottage Fishing Trip

The cottage is right on the water and very clean. Perfect size for 3 adult men to have enough room for a 3 night stay. Has all the amenities we needed including cooking utensils. The directions provided were correct and it was easy to access per the directions. Great place and great view.

Amazing Views

The location of this property is right off a highway along the river and can be easily missed if your are not familiar with the location. The property was gorgeous minus the road kill in the front yard. The view from the back patio area and kitchen windows was absolutely breathtaking. Overall this is a beautiful hidden gem and the property manager was very easy to get in touch with.

ON the River!

The cottage was absolutely adorable, and perfect for an impromptu weekend getaway. I could have spent the entire weekend standing in the kitchen watching the water pass us by. The location was great. Plenty of places to end up within 20 minutes of the place. The only thing that would have made it better would have been staying in the summer to see it without those couple feet of pesky snow :)

Cute place!

I booked this property for a weekend with my family. We had a wedding in Chippewa Falls and it was only a short, beautiful drive to the cabin. The view of the river is breath taking. The only negative we had about this place is the road noise, but we all were so tired it didn’t matter. If you are a light sleeper, it might be too much. The coffee pot takes pods and there is a hair dryer! We forgot both but thankfully there was left over coffee pods so it worked out. Another positive was that there were so many lap blankets! Perfect for staying cozy in the cabin. I would stay here again just to sit and drink my coffee by the river in the mornings. We loved it.

Cozy stay with a great view!

We had a short over night stay as we were visiting for a wedding. The house was clean and cozy, very cute decor! Even though the property is located on a busy road, a little traffic noise was worth the beautiful river view. The hostess was great to communicate with from initial booking to checking out. Would definitely recommend, I will stay again if ever in the area,

Great manager. Property not quite finished . View lacking.

We had an awkward stay at this property. In that we didn't stay. It was beautifully decorated. The photography makes it look fantastic. But the remodeling work wasn't finished, the finish work was amateur and incomplete. Surprisingly, there was no view to the river, a frosted glass door blocked the view to the River from the living room. Worst of all was the noise of the traffic. It really cannot be understated how intense it is. It was so much that we left, incurred additional expense, and drove 3 hours to a different property instead. The manager and owner is extremely gracious and we can't recommend her high enough! The home was beautifully appointed. She did an absolutely fantastic job on the decor on the interior and on the preparations for creating a vrbo. If the trim work was finished, and wood was not falling off the bathroom wall, and the painting and drywall were done right, I might have been able to stay here. If it wasn't for the noise, my wife might have been able to stay here. In the end it wasn't the right property for us. So if it's the right place for you then by all means rent it. But just be aware. It is charming, just not quite right.

Gather At The River

We had a nice stay at the River Cottage. Sipping coffee on the patio early in the morning was pure bliss! We watched deer play in the water on the other side of the river and shot video to send to our grandchildren. The property was very nice! Nice job Kristen!

Charming, clean, close to road

We enjoyed our stay very much, especially sitting outside looking at beautiful river. The scerenity was broken by cars and trucks on very close road in front of cottage. It wasn't constant but still jarring. Otherwise, there were games, Wi-Fi streaming tv and cute decore. We used it as a place to take little jaunts to the cute towns around it.

Home base for a wedding weekend.

We selected this property to allow us to have a home base while attending a wedding in the area with our adult children. The house was exactly as advertised. Loved the outdoor space! Enjoyed sipping beverages on the waterfront both at night and in the morning. The proximity to areas to launch a boat was excellent as we squeezed in some time to fish. The parking with a boat was roomy. Only downfall is the traffic noise, it is quite significant. Just pointing that out as buyer be aware.

Spacious with a beautiful view

3 full size beds and a couch. Great rustic industrial decor. Smashing view of the river. There is a fire pit, grill, full size kitchen. Just bring your beer and fishing poles. It is a relatively new listing so there's not a lot of amenities that have been left behind by previous guests. Stop at the dollar store and bring your own spices, condiments, tinfoil, plastic wrap and that type of stuff. It's not like staying at the Hilton but that's what makes it great. Oh and the locals are super friendly.
