Get ready for an activity-packed getaway at this historic, restored, and updated Stowe farmhouse located in a quaint neighborhood on a quiet, dead end road! Sitting across the river from the scenic Adams Mill and Little River Falls, you'll be able to easily enjoy all the nearby attractions Stowe has to offer, such as skiing, hiking, cycling, restaurants, and so much more. At the end of the day, have your après-ski in the glow of the wood stove, while the chef of the group whips up a meal in the well-equipped, full kitchen with new, modern appliances. After dinner, stream your favorite channels on the flatscreen TV or play a few board games at the dining table for six. In warm weather, sit outside with your morning coffee or dine al fresco on your furnished deck while the kids run and play in the private back yard. This home also offer complimentary internet access.

Great place

We love being just off the beaten path and this fit the bill. Close enough to restaurants, grocery, etc, while still being quiet and relaxing.

Great Updated Historical Home

Lovely updated historical house and comfortable decor. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed and plenty of dishes. As an added bonus, had great outdoors with cute shed, corn hole and tree house.

Cool house/property

Everything was great at the property except for the fact that the Internet did not work for our three day stay. Luckily, the house was stacked with books and toys from my kids to play with. There was even a tree fort in the backyard.

Cozy home base for a ski trip

Conveniently located just 15 minutes from Stowe and setup really well for a ski trip. We really enjoyed using the wood stove to heat the kitchen/main room where we spent most of our time. One issue we encountered was trying to keep the temperature in the bedrooms constant as the thermostat didn't seem to work

We stayed at the Adam’s Farm house. We thought the house cleaning was not as good as it should be. There were crumbs throughout house, on the bedding, carpets and chairs in living room. Some of the dishes were put in the cabinets dirty. We had to deal with the wifi not working when we arrived. The communication for the Wi-Fi issue with Vacasa was easy, but took time to resolve and not something you should have to deal with on vacation. Also, the house claimed to have a fire pit. However, we were not able to find. Overall, we thought the house was fine, but would not stay again.

Weekend getaway

Charming restored farmhouse. Everything was bright and fresh. Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels and linens. House was clean and back yard had a beautiful view. Only problem was no working wi-fi. Called vacasa to let them know but they were unable to have it fixed before we left which made it difficult to plan out our stay there. Despite that I would definitely rent this house again.

Such a cute little farmhouse, so close to Stowe. It is COMPLETELY empty as far as a pantry goes. I don’t need it to be fully stocked, but there is literally nothing. We loved our stay and just wished it could’ve been longer.

Pefect set up

This was the perfect house for our family. We were there for a wedding, so didn't get to enjoy the deck as much as we would have liked, but the layout worked great. The kitchen has some basic cooking vessels and utensils. If you need something particular, bring it with you. Worked well for us.

Exceeded our expectations!

We had a wonderful time at the Adam’s Mill Farm House! The stay far exceeded our expectations. The house was white glove clean, absolutely adorable, well appointed and extremely conveniently located. There was more than enough room for the 4 adults and 2 toddlers that we had staying there. The back yard was a huge plus and the large deck (with grill!) added even more livable space. The living room was so cozy, but spacious. There was a very substantial library of books suitable for all ages and plenty of seating. The only thing I would caution about is the stairs are a little steep and the steps are shallow, which could be tricky for some people or those with kids. The top of the steps is pretty close to the kids room. This could be helped by bringing a stand-alone gate for the top of the steps or the bottom. We just made sure the toddlers didn’t go up or down on their own. We would recommend this house to anyone and fully plan on renting it again next year. Big shout out to the cleaning crew: they did an impeccable job. The house was spotless. This was by far the best place we have rented in Vermont:)

Perfect getaway!

The house was very clean, well-appointed and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves. The Weber grill and Solo stove were surprise extras that we thoroughly enjoyed!

Great stay!

Great base camp to explore the area. The place worked well for our group. However, we did not have a pleasant experience with the property management group (Vacasa). We will stick to renting properties where we have direct communication to the property owner.

Great getaway in Stowe!

We really enjoyed staying at The Adams Mill Farmhouse. The location was great...not far from the Burlington Airport and very close to Stowe Village and Stowe Resort. We arrived after midnight and getting into the house was straightforward and easy. The house itself was very nice and comfortable and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The decor & furnishings were attractive and functional. The cozy family room sofa was divine! We would definitely stay at The Adams Mill Farmhouse again if/when we return to Stowe.

Spacious, comfortable house for a ski trip

This house was great for our 5-person ski trip to Stowe Mountain. The rooms were large and the house was clean. Interior was nicely renovated and has a smart TV and a fireplace. We were slightly disappointed by the fact that the house took a while to heat up and that there was no hairdryer, but we would still recommend and come again.

very nice home away from home

The Adams Mill Farm House is a great little home away from home. From the outside, it looks like nothing special. But on the inside, it is very tastefully done, with a nice combination of old/rustic and new/comfortable. We hope to return to this particular house many times again.

Great Stowe house

This is a great property for families who want to stay in Stowe and is about 15 mins from the mountain. Great wood stove and comfy couch for cozy movies after long ski days. Owner needs to provide matches for the fireplace and coffee filters, but otherwise it’s well stocked
