This property was clean and spacious. Everything was provided for our use. There would be some suggestions to make this property more user friendly—larger TV, drapes on sliding doors main floor,light strips above bathroom mirror in lower level bath that don’t block the mirror. Touch base lamps on night stands in lower level much easier to use. Replace bricks on walkway before someone trips and sues. Very likely the wasp activity in the screened in room would be excessive in summer. This was a positive vacation experience overall.

This is the fifth time we’ve stayed in this house and we absolutely love it! Everything is perfect and provided for you. The view from the sun room is amazing and the sunsets each night are also fantastic! Jeri is a fabulous host and response quickly with questions you may have during your stay.

My family of 5 met from different locations for an early Thanksgiving. We were very comfortable, with plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was well-equipped and I was able to prepare an easy Thanksgiving meal (turkey breast in provided slow cooker, sides on stovetop and oven). Several of us enjoyed the kayaks before the rain came in; after that we were cozy inside with the fireplace and games. We would definitely consider returning to Kayak Cottage next time we're in the area!*Notes for those with mobility issues: I use a rollator walker; the brick path to the front door was a little uneven, and there are a couple steps up to the door. I needed help to get inside, but once in, I was on the main floor with 2 bedrooms, kitchen/dining, living, 1 bathroom (walk-in shower), and screened-in deck. Personally, I could not go downstairs or get down to the dock, but I knew that when I booked. The king bed was quite high, so consider bringing a small stool to assist you if that might be an issue.

we had a very comfortable stay and we all enjoyed the views and the sun this past weekend. only thing thing i could think of that would have made it better would have been a couple more TVs since we had 4 kids with us and just the one tv in the leaving room was not enough. Other then this would definitely go back to this beautiful home for another weekend get away.

This property was great. Had everything we needed, plenty of room, very relaxing and friendly neighborhood. Screened in porch was very nice as well. Host was very quick to respond to any question we had.
