Denna vackra helt renoverade lÀgenhet i Kihei Bay Vista AnlÀggningen ligger tvÀrs över gatan frÄn knölval Museum och historiska Kulepolepo Beach. Den hÀr stranden Àr perfekt för barn eftersom vattnet Àr i allmÀnhet lugnt. Kihei Canoe Club finns ocksÄ sina kanoter pÄ den hÀr stranden och ofta kan du kontakta dem för att delta i en del av deras verksamhet, för att inte nÀmna att du kan se nÄgra av de mest fantastiska solnedgÄngar det ocksÄ! Du kan se och höra havet frÄn vÄr Lanai, samt se majestÀtiska Haleakala kikar över hustaken ... och du kan se vackra Kahalawai (West Maui bergen frÄn sovrumsfönstret ocksÄ.

Poolen / jacuzzi och grillplats ligger direkt framför vÄr enhet lÀngst ner i trappan. Kihei Bay Vista erbjuder ocksÄ gratis parkering för uppdrag, och en liten puttinggreen pÄ vackert hÄlls grÀsmatta. Det finns bara 60 enheter i komplexet; sÄ det Àr lugnt och tyst ... en perfekt tropisk retrÀtt !!

Our favorite place - ever

We have now stayed at this condo for the 3rd time. It is such a comfort coming into a place that just feels like home. Gabi and Ken have done such an amazing job with this condo and has supplied everything you could think of needing.My wife and I are looking forward to our next trip to Maui and our next stay at this condo.

Amazing everything.

This is our second stay at Kenneth and Gabrielle's condo in Kihei. This condo and location are so good it makes it tough for any other location we stay at to even compare. The condo is spotlessly clean, is super well stocked, and literally across the road to the beach. It is such a small complex that it is always quiet. The grounds are immaculate and the pool deck and pool are great. Parking is easy with lots of available spots. I could go on and on about this condo and area, but I'll just say that we have booked it again for our next visit to Maui. Great owners with a great condo. No complaints at all.

Comfortable and Well Stocked Kihei Condo

This vacation rental offered everything our family needed for an easy and affordable stay on Maui. The location is right across from the beach and the unit is quiet and comfortable. I appreciated the hosts efforts to reduce unnecessary single use plastics, such as the Brita filtered water pitcher in the fridge 👍 We enjoyed the beach gear, the pool and hot tub. As a safety note, the dresser in the bedroom needs to be fastened to the wall. With two drawers pulled out, it fell forwards onto my 3 year old and luckily an adult was there to catch it! Overall good value, we would stay here again

Great Location

This condo complex sits in the perfect location on the northern side of Kihei. The property is beautiful with tropical plants growing throughout and well maintained. The pool was warm and there is a very secluded beach across the street. The condo itself had everything we would have needed and was very relaxing. Cool ocean breezes blew through the condo so we never had to use the AC.

The Best Rental EVER!

My wife and I have been staying at vacation rentals for many, many years. While most have been very good, we have never felt as at home as we did in this condo. To say it was well supplied is a major understatement. Everything we could have imagined was supplied - and then some. The condo was incredibly clean in side and outside on the lanai. The appliances all worked very well, the AC was good and there were even extra floor fans in the bedroom closet if needed. The location was also a major plus. Right across the street is a beautiful sandy beach which never had many people there are all. It practically felt like a private beach. Every evening we would take in the sunsets and watch the sea turtles come in. The entire complex was also immaculately cared for. The pool and hot tub were super clean, the grounds were well maintained and everything around the property was well cared for. We loved this property so much that we have already booked our next trip back there. While Maui is a beautiful island, having a place as nice as this to stay at made the vacation that much better. Thank you so much to Ken and Gabrielle for sharing your home with us. We look forward to our next visit there. Mahalo!

Lovely location comfortable and close to beach!

Loves: The lanai in the morning is a great spot for coffee and breakfast. The access to the perfect kids beach right across the street The carpet! The pool and jacuzzi both close but also very clean. Pool area was quiet despite being in front of and below condo. Jacuzzi is HOT! How the condo/lanai faces the palm trees and foliage. It gives you that lovely tropic vibe despite not seeing the beach. Also the shows and sounds of birds. Owners were very communicative! No over the top check out process! Besides a sofa there is a nice reclining chair! I spend so much time scrolling units and if I see either the rattan furniture or a tiny sofa all alone I scroll past, regardless of price! Didn’t love so much but wouldn’t stop me from renting again: The washing machine is a bit temperamental with the door (and I promise we didn’t overload it!) No ac in the bedroom - honestly I was fine, but my husband was stressed the first couple hours that he wouldn’t be able to sleep without ac. I just took both fans and put on in the hall and one right by the bed and left the fan in the room on. Again really enjoyed the stay, the condo was comfy and inviting after the beach and I would come back, as well as recommend to others if you’re looking for a quiet place close to the beach

Great quiet spot that has everything you need!

Ken and Gabi’s place was perfect for us for our wonderful week in Maui. Centrally located to great food and activities in Kihei and Wailea and easy to drive to get to the other great parts of the island. Amenities were great and place was very cleanly and we loved the lanai for meals or relaxing. Would recommend their place highly! Thanks Ken and Gabi!

Einfach klasse!

Eine super ausgestattete Unterkunft in einer top-gepflegten Anlage, mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Klasse auch Pool und Whirlpool direkt vor dem Haus, sogar eine Barbecue-Station war im Poolbereich vorhanden (haben wir aber nicht genutzt). Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt, fĂŒr uns war es wirklich optimal! WĂŒrden wir jederzeit wieder buchen.

Great Stay in Kihei!

We loved our stay at this locale! The condo is in a beautiful garden-like setting, complete with pool and outdoor grills. The beach, directly across the street, is relatively quiet, and has opportunities for shade and sun. There is an historic fish pond that is great for swimming. While we were there, there were 5 or 6 very large sea turtles that were sunning on the rocks each day. The condo was the best-equipped condo we have ever stayed at anywhere, with the owners striving to cover every possible need of vacationers who are away from home. They even asked what could they do better (nothing!). The condo is on the second floor, so note you will need to carry your suitcase up a flight of stairs. Rent this one with confidence. We would definitely stay here again for future visits.

Perfect for a couple or with kids! Clean, quiet, Organized and well maintained.

SUMMARY: Couples or those with a kid or two 10 years of age or younger: Rent this unit with confidence that it’s clean, well located, well stocked by friendly, welcoming, communicative wonderful hosts! The condo is very clean, organized & well maintained. Parking is plentiful & all in all it really felt like home. However, if you are counting on the pull out bed for anyone over the age of 12 - don’t! (This is not a complaint on my part, just information!) I personally have no complaints whatsoever & we absolutely would NOT HESITATE to stay here again! In fact, we can’t wait to come back. PROS: Fantastic Host! I can’t stress that enough. What a gem. Not only were they friendly, gracious, welcoming and kind but the communication was absolutely top notch. It started well before our stay when I had a few questions - she always answered thoroughly, promptly and patiently. Then they sent through, logical, informative instructions on how to find the unit, get in the door, etc etc.. which were delivered at exactly the right time and were well formatted. The condo is in a PERFECT location — in a clean, quiet complex with a great pool and it’s also located directly across the street from a great beach. The condo itself has everything you need: bedding, pots, pans, utensils, dishwasher, instant pot, blender, air fryer, glassware, a washer/dryer. There were a some spices, oils and vinegars in the cabinet left by prior guests. They have beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, fins, a few toys for the kids. I appreciated the very handy binder chock full of information about local shopping, restaurants, WIFI passwords, instructions on how to use the TV. The WIFI Signal was strong and the TV’s worked fantastic with plenty of cable channels. CON: I want to be perfectly clear that this NOT meant to be a complaint but rather to only to give potential guests information so they can make the best choice for their party, to wit: The pull out bed is just NOT comfortable. If you are counting on it to be used by adults or teenagers - don’t! The hosts very kindly includes a foam mattress topper that you can add to the mattress, but even with that - it’s unbearable. I want to stress that that this is NOT the fault of the host and hostesses because there hasn’t been a single comfortable pull out bed in the history of all pull out beds. They are just inherently uncomfortable and this one is no exception. THANK YOU!

Perfect condo for a family with kids under 12!

The condo was well located, close by to most things, right across from the beach and had a lovely pool. Though we were out most of the time, we enjoyed our time indoors~ Our favourite memory will be eating dinner on the very spacious lanai, overlooking the beautiful view and hearing the palms sway and rustle in the sea breeze!

Maui RE-connection after moving to California 25 years ago!

I was hoping for the best and was more than pleasantly supprised since this was my first stay in Kihei after many years away. Location was excellent, but entry/exit from parking driveway was sketchy with all that Kihei Rd. traffic...just be careful! Being in an owner unit had many uncommon amenities such as snorkel gear, boogie board & fins and all the beach picnic stuff that you would normally have to rent at other properties. I was revived, restored and refreshed during my stay at your property and would reccommend it to anyone who may be reading this review. Maui No Ka Oe! and Kihei Bay Vista worked just fine for this ex-resident of paradise! Mahalo & Aloha! P.S. My compliments to your maintenance / landscape guy Edward for what he does to keep your facility beautiful.

feel like home

This place got everything you need for your vacation but it feel like you stay at home. great location, just across of the beach. My kids enjoy going to the pool and hot tub after we get back exploring Maui. Close to the restaurant, convenient stores, gas station, and the park. Ken and Gabbi provide all the stuff that you need. Check in was easy. They also have the list of favorite places we should visit, which we really love that. ( other people who stay here before also add more. I followed them and found good place that we haven't known before. Recommended !! Mahalo.

Things to Consider

This is a difficult review to write as there are so many things we loved but other things that were quite uncomfortable for us to accept. Things people should know are: The unit is on the second floor so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There is carpeting; so, not the best for people with allergies (I washed the two smaller pillows and took the dirty comforter off the bed and that helped a bit) Bring inside shoes/slippers as the carpet is quite dirty. When it's windy sand/dirt comes through the windows so it's a challenge to keep things clean. We also would have appreciated having the heads up about the unsightly stains on the carpet that greet you upon entering the condo. The air conditioner is quite noisy and is situated beside the sofa. Cold air blows along the couch and hot air blows onto the lanai. The owners were great when the a/c unit stopped working because we accidentally placed the sofa cushions too close to the intake. Someone was there right away to fix it! He cleaned the filter (the light was on) and we noticed it wasn't as noisy afterward. However, as the week went on it once again became quite noisy and by the weeks end the clean filter light was on again. So, either put up with the air conditioner or open the windows and let the dirt in???? It can get warm in the bedroom even with the fans blowing. The mattress on the pull out couch is a joke. It rolls up on the corners and you can literally see the springs...like something from a sit-com. There is a rather dirty but somewhat comfortable piece of foam (single size) and a twin size inflatable mattress that can be used. The unit is very well stocked! The only thing missing was BBQ utensils and we could have used more facecloths and tea towels. There are only two rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towel supplied. I went through a lot of paper towels as the beautiful table and chairs on the lanai needed to be cleaned daily. The property complex is great! Clean pool, hot tub, grills and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Nice clean bathroom with toilet and shower separate from the sink area which has a make-up mirror and empty drawers for your stuff. Brand new and really nice beach umbrella (Thank you!!) Everything else is pretty much as described. Bed is comfortable and lots of hot water! (That's always important!) I hope this helps when trying to decide where to stay in Maui. We absolutely had a wonderful time there.

Want to be fair, but does have issues

Let me start by saying we stayed there In January 2022 for 5 days and we booked it about 3 weeks before, so availability was limited and the price for this condo was one of the best we found. Still, there were a few issues that made our stay difficult. 1- It smelled. We opened the door and we immediately felt a strong unpleasant smell. It smelled like a combination of humidity, drainage and maybe even urine. It was strong and I do know that I have a sensitive nose, but even my spouse noticed it. We told the owners via the app and they simply replied, "we have never heard of this before" and that we should open windows. Well, this was a lie since there was a review that mentioned this exact problem even though I do have to admit either the odor was reduced by half the second day or we just got used to it, but it never completely disappeared. We discovered what the problem was after we left the property since the smell “stuck” with us after we left. Yes, that's right! The smell got in our clothes, and we believe it was caused by the washing machine. Our deduction is that they have a drainage issue with their washing machine and somehow the smelly water is not being filtered correctly. We’re no plumbers, but that's our best guess since their towels also smelled. 2- The property/area felt safe, so this next issue was not as bad. Their new front door locking system didn’t work. The issue was not the locking, but the unlocking. The touchpad needed a code to unlock, which did work. The touchpad also had a small logo at the top of it and if you pressed that logo by mistake the door automatically unlocks without the need for the code. We again told the owners and they replied with “we will have to talk to a locksmith to fix the issue since we do not live there” which is understandable, but I don’t know why not living in Hawaii has anything to do with fixing an issue as soon as being notified. So my advice for the people thinking about staying here is to ask the owners if they fixed the touchpad unlocking issue before booking it. Just to be safe. 3- To finish and this isn't at all a big deal since you can rent, they did offer a lot of beach accessories like a chairs, boogie boards, toys, but they were missing an umbrella and ice chest which IMO is a must for a beach rental property. In conclusion, if you have time to make a better decision and are comfortable knowing you will spend a few hundred dollars more on another property then avoid this one.

Good stay in Kihei

Easy check in and access. The unit is good size with vaulted ceiling’s adding to the spaciousness. Would have liked more light in the unit. Outdoor balcony was big with large, solid dining table for 4. Beach chairs, boogie boards and other beach gear provided. Air conditioning was adequate but noisy. Full kitchen worked just fine for us for our short two night stay to have dinner in.

The minute we walked on to the property and then inside our condo, we knew that this was a place where our hearts could call home. The location, the beautiful grounds, the beach across the street were all just perfect for a relaxing retreat. Kihei is laid back and very 'local', yet has everything you need in close proximity.
