Awesome place!!

Our stay at the “My Place” house at The Cove at Fairview” was wonderful. Frank was extremely hospitable and helpful. The house was very cozy, warm, spacious and inviting. Having a hot tub in 40 degree weather was an added bonus as well as the fresh eggs (an added treat!)We look forward to returning the the Cove this summer.

A perfect getaway

Peaceful Asheville retreat

We had a great stay here during a spring break trip to the Asheville area. Frank was a friendly and helpful host. The house was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our family of 6. The kids enjoyed the loft game space, fireplaces, hot tub, and farm fresh eggs.

Excellent stay! Would love to come back.

We loved staying on this property for so many reasons. The house was very comfortable and as advertised. There was plenty of room for our party of 8, 3 of which were children. Also, the animals and koi ponds on the property added an extra element of fun for the kiddos and adults. Frank, the owner, was extremely responsive and kind!

Massive property!! Much to enjoy

Great communication with host. Many things to enjoy while there; hot tub, outdoor fireplace, pool table, large kitchen, privacy and fresh eggs in kitchen!! Only negative, and not terrible, bedrooms do not have televisions. Would have no concerns coming back to stay here again! Thanks for the hospitality!

Great property with a great host

"My Place" at Fairview Cove met and exceeded our expectations for the holiday. Asheville was just as accessible as promised (a quick 12-15 minutes) - but the cabin's mountainside location gave us plenty of seclusion from the holiday crowds. The foosball table, pool table and hot tub - along with our host's gifts of eggs and fresh bread - rounded out a great visit - thanks!

Amazing girls trip!

The pictures don’t do it justice! Such a great area and place to stay for a girls weekend! Frank met us upon our visit and showed us around and how things work and the farm fresh eggs were a good addition. Would 100 percent come back!

"My Place" is a peaceful, relaxing place to unwind! Large windows let in the beautiful, natural surrounding scenery. We were given many recommendations of local places to visit, and we had everything we needed :) We highly recommend!!

Lovely home

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The animals we fed were definitely a plus. The location was excellent. The only fault we found is the bed in the master is worn and sags in the middle, but we made do since we were only there a couple of days. Everything else was wonderful!

Everything you need!

Fabulous wooded property with amazing host and lots of things to do. Horses, goats, donkeys, chickens to see and feed. Fresh eggs, lots of space and comfortable beds...I could go on and on. Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but great food and activities are truly just minutes away.

Beautiful Home and Wonderful Owner

We spent a three day weekend in this home and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner was very communicative and walked us through everything we needed to know. My favorite part of the house is the outdoor stone fireplace and porch. So beautiful and relaxing. The hot tub was also amazing. I highly recommend this property! Bring carrots for the farm animals!

Great Home and Location!

The home was perfect for our family getaway. Comfortable layout and furniture. Super quite and private. The owner was very helpful and greeted us when we arrived to give us some pointers on the house and recommendations. The hobby farm was great! My daughter enjoyed feeding the donkeys, goats and houses carrots. Fresh eggs from the farm too!

After retiring from a 33 year career in sales management/ marketing, we visited our oldest daughter Etta and fell in love with Asheville. We moved to the Asheville Area in 2002 and lived in the house that became our first rental, “Our House.” (We built a cabin on the property and moved into it). Soon to follow, came our youngest daughter, Farris, and her now husband Danny. In 2009 their daughter Alyssa arrived and in 2015 Haley was born, making this a true family business.

We fell in love with Asheville and all it has to offer. We then decided to share the beauty of the Asheville Area and the hospitality of the Smokey Mountains with others. “Our House” and “My Roundette” were on the property when we originally bought it. Both have since been remodeled. We then purchased additional land and built “My Place,” “The Huntley,” “The Garden Cabin,” and “Hideout.”

The Cove at Fairview is committed to providing safe vacation rentals in a beautiful setting. We have taken several measures to ensure the safety of our guests and our staff. These efforts include the use of disinfecting agents and longer cleaning times.
All of the homes have private places to gather, such as porches and decks. Our larger homes feature outdoor fireplaces.
We have several stunning outdoor areas. Have a picnic or relax in a hammock at Koi Falls. Koi Falls features gentle waterfalls and two Koi Ponds. Many of our guests enjoy going to the Barn to interact with animals. We also have seating at The Lotus Pond and on Flower Hill.
While being very private and close to nature, you are still afforded all of the conveniences of technology such as high speed internet.
Kick back, relax, and have a true retreat or a wonderful place to land after an exhausting day of fun (downtown is only 15 minutes away). There are also several breweries and restaurants outside of Asheville, as well many outdoor activities including hiking.
