Huntley Cabin byggdes 2011. Detta hem har välvda tak, ekgolv, möbler gjorda av renoverat ladaved och ett fullt utrustat kök. Detta hem har tre sovrum (varav ett är ett stort sovloft), tre badrum (ett har en antik klobbfot) och två svängande sängar på den skärmad verandan. Detta hem är alltid oklanderligt rent. Det finns två inomhus spisar (vardagsrummet, källaren sovrummet) och en utomhus spis under en täckt veranda. Koppla av i avskildheten av naturen medan du fortfarande har bekvämligheterna inom teknik - två plattskärms-TV, WIFI, +.

Huntley Cabin har tre verandor och två däck. Den avskärmade verandan (med svängande sängar), verandan med utsikt över ett mjukt vattenfall (med en propan och en kolgrill), verandan med en täckt öppen spis och ett biljardbord, ett däck med en grill, ett däck med en badtunna och ett extra däck. Det finns många ställen att njuta av utsikten över den omgivande skogen!

Vi har en hobbygård 2 minuter bort - besök Hästar, Koi fisk och kycklingar (färska ägg tillhandahålls).

Huntley Cabin är bekvämt beläget - bara 15 minuter till centrum av Asheville, 10 minuter till Blue Ridge Parkway och 15 minuter till The Biltmore Estate. Fina middagar, lokala festivaler och utsikt över bergen är några av de lokala attraktionerna våra gäster tycker om.

Ashville getaway

we loved this property! Lots of outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the mountain. The screened in porch with the hanging beds was a unique place to relax, read a book or take a nap. The mini waterfall on the side of the property was lovely! Property is close to lots of small towns and the Biltmore. We'll for sure visit again!

Relaxing Home Near Lots of Activities

The small waterfall, swinging beds, hot tub and pool table all provide a relaxing retreat. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was spacious and well stocked. Lots of variety of activities near by to enjoy and Frank was available and wanting to make your stay as perfect as possible.

Great getaway!

We loved this property during our long weekend getaway to the Asheville area! Very clean and well stocked with towels, coffee & fresh eggs. We especially loved the two full size wood burning fireplaces! Also loved meeting the owner at cbeckin. We hope to come back on the future

50th Wedding Anniversary Stay

We rented this property for 9 nights to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary with some friends. It was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT - everything we wanted it to be and more. It was so incredibly warm and welcoming, and the surrounding area is peaceful and gorgeous. Frank was a fantastic host, providing quick responses and great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We will 100% be back and hopefully for longer next time. Thanks for everything, Frank!

North Carolina Mountain Stay

Our family spent 6 days in this nicely appointed mountain retreat. Frank (the owner) met us at the property the day we checked in to go through some points about the property. He was friendly & warm sharing the information about this rental. The rental was clean and nicely decorated and comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the screen enclosed 2nd floor deck with its two “hanging beds” which allowed us to really appreciate the mountain (and its wildlife- we spotted bears 2 times- moving away from the house) and its beauty. The hot tub was also a great option to enjoy the beauty of this rental. My daughters and I even used the outdoor pool table located on the bottom floor of the rental. Asheville and Biltmore are located within a 15-20 minute drive.Frank left us a detailed record of various places to eat and visit during our stay. Frank was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had and genuinely wanted our stay to be relaxing and enjoyable. All in all we all had a very enjoyable stay in Asheville and would consider returning to see more in the future.

Amazing house and location

I'm going to sound like all the other fantastic reviews for this property--the house is amazing, location is perfect (there are grocery stores and some cool eateries very nearby), and access to Asheville and outdoor fun is a cinch! We were only here for a 3-night stay, but my family is already wanting to return. A gem!

The Huntley was the perfect "tree house" vacation. Great location. Beautiful home. Enjoyed the mountains while in the hot tub. Gorgeous waterfall for morning coffee. Frank, the host, was awesome. Gave great local recommendations. We did them all including horseback riding. Easy check-in. Fresh eggs in the fridge made breakfast by the waterfall awesome. Highly recommend Frank and Fairview. We would absolutely stay again.

Special Cabin in the Woods

Five friends spent 3 nights at Huntley Cabin to explore Asheville. The Huntley Cabin is a great place.., it is well appointed and comfortable. Sleeping on the swinging beds on the screened in porch was like glamping. Frank, the host, was terrific and responsive. We loved the fresh eggs, all the birds, the hot tub, and the bobcat that walked by on its morning hunt.

Pefect Weekend in the Asheville area

We had a wonderful stay at this home outside of Asheville. The home is beautiful and well appointed and the setting can not be beat. It was easy to get in to downtown Asheville, The Biltmore Estate and other local sites. We enjoyed the farm fresh eggs provided by the owner and loved ending our evenings soaking in the hot tub on the porch. Frank was a pleasure to communicate with and gave us good recommendations for nearby Amish baked goods at Troyers and Brews/snacks from Whistle Hop nearby. We also had delicous meals at Curate in Asheville and at Corner Kitchen at Biltmore Village.

Fun-filled spring break!

We had the best time! Mr. Dixon gave us a warm welcome with fresh eggs from his chickens, a packet FULL on info and ideas on places to go, eat, and things to do. The house was GORGEOUS! Better than the pictures. We all enjoyed the hot tub, playing pool, building fires, and s’mores. We plan on returning, and when we do, we will be renting from the Dixon family!

Wonderful vacation

Frank Dixon är värd

After retiring from a 33 year career in sales management/ marketing, we visited our oldest daughter Etta and fell in love with Asheville. We moved to the Asheville Area in 2002 and lived in the house that became our first rental, “Our House.” (We built a cabin on the property and moved into it). Soon to follow, came our youngest daughter, Farris, and her now husband Danny. In 2009 their daughter Alyssa arrived and in 2015 Haley was born, making this a true family business.

We fell in love with Asheville and all it has to offer. We then decided to share the beauty of the Asheville Area and the hospitality of the Smokey Mountains with others. “Our House” and “My Roundette” were on the property when we originally bought it. Both have since been remodeled. We then purchased additional land and built “My Place,” “The Huntley,” “The Garden Cabin,” and “Hideout.”

The Cove at Fairview is committed to providing safe vacation rentals in a beautiful setting. We have taken several measures to ensure the safety of our guests and our staff. These efforts include the use of disinfecting agents and longer cleaning times.
All of the homes have private places to gather, such as porches and decks. Our larger homes feature outdoor fireplaces.
We have several stunning outdoor areas. Have a picnic or relax in a hammock at Koi Falls. Koi Falls features gentle waterfalls and two Koi Ponds. Many of our guests enjoy going to the Barn to interact with animals. We also have seating at The Lotus Pond and on Flower Hill.
While being very private and close to nature, you are still afforded all of the conveniences of technology such as high speed internet.
Kick back, relax, and have a true retreat or a wonderful place to land after an exhausting day of fun (downtown is only 15 minutes away). There are also several breweries and restaurants outside of Asheville, as well many outdoor activities including hiking.
