Om boendet

Enjoy a relaxing stay at Mt. Washington at this brand new home. Entire massive 2nd floor with 2 bedrooms (queen beds), both with an ensuite, ensure a relaxing nights rest after a long day of play. A queen murphy bed in the master allows us to accommodate families up to 6 (maximum 4 adults). Your four legged friend is welcome on the trip (dogs only). The home has a crate, dog bed and bowls.

Charge your EV with either the 240V or 120V outlets in the garage (remember to bring your own cable). The extra large sectional couch is a great place to get cozy and enjoy a movie on the 65" smart TV.

Enjoy your morning view with a stunning unobstructed view of Strathcona park. When you're feeling competitive, grab a game of Ping Pong on the brand new table downstairs.

Lots of space in the double garage to park your bikes or store your ski/snowboards.

Please Note

There is garage parking however there is a maximum height of 73". Please ensure you check your vehicle height with any ski racks etc. Any damage caused by guests vehicles will be charged back to the booking guest. Please note the driveway has a steep incline - ensure your parking brakes are working if using instead of the garage.

As this is a ski resort, please be prepared for snow during your visit. The driveway is plowed regularly however please be prepared to shovel the small landing at the front door as well as a bit in front of the garage door (that the plow can't reach). There is ice melt for use on the driveway.

Wedding Weekend

We had a great stay on the mountain. Chris was responsive any time we needed anything. It is worth driving to the ski hill because even though it’s nearby, the hill climbs are best navigated with a vehicle! We would recommend this spot as a perfect home base - it had everything we needed!

Family ski trip

We loved the house, lots of warm space to store gear and a garage to park in. Beautiful view from the main windows and all amenities provided. We would stay again!

Great short stay

This was a great rental up at Mt. Washington. I was up there with my wife and two kids and the house was perfect. A new build so not as dated as other rental units up at this ski hill. I would recommend this rental.

Week at Mt Washington

Clean, comfortable , best sleeps at this Mt Washington home. Enjoyed Ping pong table, great kitchen and huge TV. Easy check-in. Will stay again.

Lovely spacious home with great amenities.

We enjoyed everything , ping pong, board games, kitchen was nice to work in and cozy living room! Could use some mixing bowls but otherwise great!

Beautiful views

We really enjoyed our stay. The suite was well equipped with high end appliances. It was new and clean. We enjoyed the beautiful hikes and my son had a great time downhill mountain biking. We would stay here again.

Wonderful winter stay

We loved our winter stay at this new house that welcomed our dog. It was as described in the listing. It was great to drive up to a driveway that was clear of all the snow and it was a bonus to be able to park in the garage. The house had all that was needed for a few nights away from home. The dog bed and extra large crate was another bonus for us as we had our family dog with us. The beds are comfortable and there are extra heaters for the rooms if it gets too cold. Communication was great with the rental company and they promised that they would look into repairing the dining room chairs that seemed wobbly and unsafe. (Our only concern.) We would be happy to stay here again for our next trip to Mt Washington.

Awesome place

We enjoyed this house very much for our ski week! It was accurate to the listing, spacious with many bathrooms. Very comfortable beds, beautiful view and quiet street. Drive to ski parking lots was easy. Really appreciated the garage parking and had a blast with the ping pong table! Loved that we could bring our family dog with us, big bonus!! Would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful surroundings, well equiped rental

The location was beautiful for an early June stay, plenty of snow and ice still around though melting quickly, and the property has wonderful views out to the forest. It is roughly a 15-20 mins drive from the freeway. The road was a nice drive and provides opportunity to spot elk and bears, and has some nice views down to the ocean. Courtenay is probably a 25 minute drive. The property feels brand new, spacious and is well equiped with the latest modern appliances and the wifi was good throughout the property. The host was super responsive.

Mount Washington for Christmas

Loved it all … minus the ice storm but we stayed warm and cozy lived that we could bring our dog as well…. Gorgeous spot feeling pretty lucky we got this place over te holidays!!

Mountain getaway

Relatively nice view. Close to trails. Comfortable beds. Kitchen was nicely equipped. Parking inside garage was a bonus. Communication with host was great.

Spacious and Clean

A beautiful house, spacious and clean. The unit was well equipped with dishes and cookware to make meals for a large family. Would suggest to add a couple wooden spoons for cooking, dish clothes and a broom with dustpan to help guest keep the unit clean and beautiful
