Beautiful pool and renovated casa and only 3 minute walk to West Bay Beach.
You can have it all. Easy walk to the heart of West Bay beach (most popular beach in Roatan)or the quiet relaxation around your private pool. This 3 br home is beautiful (renovated Dec2024) inside but the fully screened deck, pool and palapa area are outdoor magic. The house has a separate 1 br apartment on the ground level that is available to create a 4 br space.
CONSTRUCTION SPECIAL AUGUST 1, 2025 - DECEMBER 14
***we are building a small structure at the front of the property so there could be some building noise between 8 am - 4 pm Monday to Saturday. No construction to the main house (pool is at the rear of the yard). everything is fully functional.
The house is comfortable walking distance to dozens of restaurants, bars and dive shops in the heart of West Bay Beach, also a short drive of water taxi to West End.
This is a spacious and comfortable classic Caribbean cottage with all the amenities you need for a fabulous West Bay Beach beach vacation.
It is 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, two bedrooms have a queen bed, king in the primary bedroom and one also has a bunk bed, sleeps 8
There is a large kitchen/dining are/family room with vaulted ceilings.
The house has new (2021/2022) AC units in all bedrooms and family room, high quality bedding, well equipped kitchen.
Fantastic outdoor spaces including a new (2021) 14' x 24' freshwater pool with a beautiful covered palapa area with a large, comfortable sectional. Over 1000 sq ft' of pool decking.
Outside is a very large wrap around deck that is completely screened in.
Cable TV and the best residential wifi speed available on the island.(100mps)
We also supply beach towels, coolers, beach chairs (at the beach entrance). Foldable beach chairs and umbrellas also available at the house. Entrance between Henry Morgan Resort and Argentinian Grill.
Monitored alarm system
We have a special arrangement with Gula Restaurant and Beachers restaurant for Casa familia guests for food discounts and beach lounger use.
We are happy to help you with any planning for your trip including arranging airport or ferry terminal pickup, car rental or island tours. We only recommend people we use personally.
golf cart avaiable for use to get around the neighbourhood, enquire at time of booking to reserve $15 per day or $75 per week $25/$125 for the 6 seater. For use to drive in local area only, not on main road.
The Casa Familia property consists of three separate vacation rental options. Each has there own separate and secure access.
Casa Familia - 3br/3ba main level home (this listing)
Cass Familia apartment - 1 br ground level apartment (can be rented with the house for a 4 br option) - ask for rate.
The Villa - (new Feb 2023) - Large 1 bedroom villa at the rear of the property with its own infinity edge pool, separate from all the other Casa Familia amenities.

We are A Canadian couple from the Toronto area. We always dreamed of owning a place in Roatan and took the leap in March 2021. We renamed the property Casa Familia because our dream included family vacations with our 5 children. We are both professionals, I am in business management and Renee is a television host. So we have busy lives and want a place to decompress, for us that place is Casa Familia. The home is set up perfectly for large or multiple families we hope you love it as much as we do.

Casa Familia is unique for the West Bay Beach area. It is a 3 br/3 bath home that is not only very close to the beach but also has a pool (built December 2021). There are not many detached homes in the west bay beach area that offer the superb beach access, a modern renovated interior and a pool.
As much as the house itself is comfortable itâs the outdoor areas that really make Casa Familia so great. As mentioned thereâs the pool, the pool area includes a huge sun deck and palapa area with sectional, bar and sun loungers. The house also has a completely covered and screened wrap around deck. Perfect for enjoying you mornings and evenings outdoors with no unwanted pests.
Our home is part of the Emerald Beach subdivision so our guests have access to a beautiful, mid beach area. We have our own chairs and loungers there for you to enjoy a quiet area on Roatanâs most popular beach.
We are an easy walk to dozens of dining and entertainment options, a dive shop on our street and water taxis to the West End. We are close to all the action you like but located in a very quiet neighborhood.
Renting a car or hiring drivers are easy options on the island but itâs not a requirement at this location because of our proximity to so many amenities.
If you need even more space there is a one bedroom apartment on the ground level below the main house that is available (separate listing). Has separate entrance.

We love West Bay Beach and wanted to be close to it. Beach Front on West Bay can be very busy (and expensive) and is typically condos or hotels so we looked for quieter options that were walkable to the beach. We couldnât believe our luck finding Casa Familia.
The area weâre located is Emerald Beach, it is a very established subdivision in West Bay and not many homes come in the market here. The big draw for this subdivision is the beach access (mid beach right beside the Henry Morgan resort) . When you enter the beach area, all youâll say to yourself is âWowâ.
Itâs a location that people have to experience to understand. You have a world class Caribbean beach about 300 M from your home but you can also choose the peace and tranquility of your own tropical backyard.
The house itself was also a big plus for us because it has 3 large bedrooms and large common area. In fact the entire inside/outside finished area is about 4000 square ft. The home was completely renovated December 2024 including a new kitchen, Flores and bathrooms.
We think itâs the perfect location to discover Roatan and West Bay but still have the privacy you want when you want it.
Finally, West Bay beach offers so many great dining options, either on the beach or within short walking or water taxi distances. We love to cook but we rarely do when weâre here.
