The George is located on a property with 3 other cabins. It features one king bed, kitchen, pullout couch, TV, AC, personal grilling & firepit area.

On Texas Time Properties has 4 cabins on site. They are spread out on the property giving you and your guests space to your own.

**Lake Access: The current water levels on Lake Travis are VERY low; which made us having to close our dock. Please contact directly for any questions.

Shared Space Include:
- Gym with 2 weight racks, free weights, Peloton Bike & Peloton Treadmill
- Firepit overlooking the lake
- Hot tub
- Sauna
- Cold plunge

Our property is also available for big groups or retreats. Contact us for more details.

The property is on a well system, and it has top of the line reverse osmosis system. However there still may be a slight smell or different taste to the water. We have a culligan system available in the gym if you prefer that.

Rustic-chic!

We had such a blast staying at The George @ontexastime. The location is perfect as we visited Austin and Fredericksburg. Loved the clean and efficient cabin- perfect for the two of us and so, so cute. The cold plunge and sauna were a treat, also used the swimspa which was way bigger than I thought. Beautiful views, so much nature to take in and great communication from the host. Will def book here again!

Loved it! Can’t wait to book again.

Absolutely loved our weekend getaway at this VRBO! The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet area. The cleanliness exceeded our expectations. Bonus points for providing fire starter when we forgot ours. Perfect for an escape with our furry friend.

Comfortable & Quiet

We enjoyed staying listening to George Straight and being surrounded by trees for the weekend. The gym and hot tub were great additions to the property.

The George

Small cabin...pretty comfortable shower is tiny, the lake isn't low its completely dried up so if you are thinking of nice walks and views there is no water to be seen. The hot tub is huge but it was really dirty....it is located directly under trees so perhaps someone had used it earlier in the day. We got half the cover off and said no thanks which was disappointing I always choose a rental with a hot tub and this was the first time we couldn't use one. With a little more tlc this could be a really good rental.

Cute property!

We checked in around 9pm our first night and the main air conditioner was blowing hot air in the living room. All 4 of us had to sleep in the bedroom with the window unit because the rest of the cabin was too hot. I immediately texted the owner and she said she would try to get someone out the next day. Fortunately, we planned to be gone the entire day. Had to text for a follow up. Said someone was coming at 3pm. Texted again for a follow up around dinner and no one was able to come. She told us we could get an extra fan from the gym. Fortunately, we checked out the next morning before it got hot again. Our first night was not good but the 2nd was better. No offer of any compensation for difficulty with the first night and kids having to sleep on the floor. The cabin is really nicely done and decorated! We didn’t get to explore the property but everything looked really nice. Would recommend once the air conditioner is fixed!

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED

checked in at 830 , found the cabin to be about 45 deg. and no heat . was not advertised as being no heat and roughing it. at 945 the CO2 alarm to us to "evacuate" immediately. So after freezing for 2 hrs we decided to leave and find someplace warm to stay.. probably would have been ok if the outside temperature had been 70's or 80's; but this is not the place to stay if the weather is cold. sorry... very quaint, but just too cold to stay.

Very cozy place ! Only stayed four nights but is was a perfect break from moving . Moved the week of my stay and it was a relaxing place to go to after stressful move days ! The tv was great as well with lots of choices 😊

Great Spicewood Stay

Our stay at "The George" cabin was very nice. Very clean, bed was comfy, plenty of towels and great gym! The shower is tiny but does the trick. The lake was super low so we couldn't really access it safely, but close to Krauss Springs which was amazing! Also, close to wineries and great pizza place. The gym was awesome, we utilized it daily! Good central location for us and the activities we were doing in the area (Perdenales State Park, Hamilton Pool, Krauss Springs, and Wineries). Oh and we loved the daily visits from the neighboring animals (2 sweet dogs and a few goats!) Thanks for the great stay!

Scam!

Completely overcharging for this rental. We will be reporting this to the website. My husband Surprised me with this trip and reserved it especially for the Jacuzzi which which was out of order when we arrived. Had a sign on it and it was not clean or ready. The cabin is tiny the TV is tiny there was no stove. Caution tape around exposed PVC tape where the plumbing is. Hardly any responses from the renters when we brought these matters up. Very close to the busy street as well and noisy. We left one hour after being there and are trying to get our money back get our money back but the renters are not responding to that. This was a huge disappointment and very unprofessional.

Peaceful and pretty

The cabin is really cute - well decorated, appointed and spotless. The water was farther away than expected, but it really didn't matter to us. The yard and grill were great amenities for us.

Relaxing Getaway

We really enjoyed this property. We cooked our meals on the grill, relaxed by the fire pit and walked down to the waters edge to take in the views. We also hung out in the texas sized hot tub! Loved the proximity to surrounding wineries and restaurants. Very nice stay, would recommend!
