Think about how cozy grandmas house is, well this property is like that - just add in a completely renovated property, amazing views, covered deck with two outdoor couches, fireplace, dining area and a sun deck also! Winter or summer this place welcomes you home as soon as you walk through the door. Walk out dock with one available slip for boats, jet ski or whatever you need for an amazing vacation. Calm area of the lake ready for canoeing or kayaking.
Exterior renovations will be completed by spring of 2022! These will be a new coat of exterior paint, a fully fenced in yard and a built in fire pit with comfy chairs to enjoy it with! Winter activities skiing, snowboarding, tubing within 30 min! Great local restaurants within minutes. Summer - Northville boat launch less than 1 mile away. Great area

Great place for a family get together

We celebrated my 60th birthday and we had a wonderful trip. The covered deck was everything. We spent most of our time on the deck. It was fabulous!

Family vaca

We took our first family vaca in a long time. This house was lovely and the fact that it was dog friendly was a plus! The back deck was a perfect entertaining area for almost every meal we ate! I would stay again for sure!

Family get together

Beautiful spot on the lake. My family enjoyed their stay very much. Rented a boat from a local marina and explored. A great time was had by all.

50th birthday getaway

Beautiful and well-appointed lake home. Has all the amenities you could want during your stay. We celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday there and had the best time. Gorgeous view, friendly locals and a quaint town.

Family trip

We had a great week at this camp! We spent a lot of the time on the beautiful porch overlooking the water, playing yard games, and on a pontoon boat we rented on the lake from Reets( we do not recommend them as they charged us $200 for small scratches on a seat. Definitely take pictures of everything before hand if you do). The camp was clean and the beds were comfortable

Northville trip

Property was awesome. There was 15 of us and this spot was perfect. Covered deck with ample seating, grills, fire pits, tv’s. Perfect. Host is very accommodating and responsive. Will definitely be going back.

Great Lake House

Great spot for a group! Right on the quiet part of the lake and just a short 5 min boat ride to the bigger part of the lake. Just a 3 min drive to town, ice cream, gas, and restaurants. We loved the dock your boat restaurant nearby! We enjoyed hiking to waterfalls and jumping off the dock!

Great for multiple families

This was a great place for multiple families. The kids loved bunking in the loft and the parents enjoyed their own bedrooms. We stayed in December so we had limited use of the outside space, but it was very nice. Great spot for entertaining.

This property was so relaxing for all 11 people of our family.. Everyone found so much relaxation in the different little rooms and areas of this huge house. It actually could sleep more people than advertised.. I was a wonderful vacation for our entire family..

Quick Getaway

It was a lovely property, with a gorgeous location on the Sacandaga River. Even when the weather didn’t cooperate for outdoor activities, the covered outdoor spaces were a great place to play some games and watch the rain with the family!

Lake Life

Just bring your bathing suit and the dog! This house has everything else. Very spacious and comfortable for 9 guests. Plenty of AC and fans too. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for food prep. Most of our time was spent in the water or using the kayaks and paddle boards. We watched eagles and listened to loons from the covered deck. We would definitely stay here until again!

Had a large family gathering at this house. I can accommodate a lot of people comfortably. Great view from large covered deck. We spent a lot of time out there! There were kayaks and SUPs to utilize and a trip down the river was absolutely lovely. The water was a bit chilly. The fire pit was terrific as well. The kitchen was easy very functional, and easy to cook in with multiple people. There was a Blackstone and Grill as well right outside the door. We would rent this place again.

Great Family Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake house. The views are beautiful and the house was large enough for 12 adults. The deck off the kitchen was great for everyone to hang out at the fireplace and for playing games at the table. We loved the flat grill where we prepared many breakfasts and dinners. We rented a boat and docked it at the house so it was easy to hop in and go fishing on the beautiful lake. If you have a lot of cars in your group the driveway is huge. We were able to park 3 motorcycle trailers and 6 cars in the driveway. The only issue was in the loft. 2 of the 5 twin mattresses were box spring mattresses. We had 2 people in our group cancel so we didn’t need the 2 of the beds. If they came that would have been an issue. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Fantastic house! 2-level deck on a lake!

We had so much fun at this big house right on Great Lake Sacandaga! The house is comfortable with lots of beds and seating areas for a large group. We were there with 12 adults and 2 children for a family gathering. The 2-level deck is spacious and comfortable for lots of people. It's covered and overlooks the lake. So nice! On the deck, there is a large outdoor griddle and a separate grill. We did much of our cooking on these. The decks are both covered which provided shade and protection from the rain. We rented a large pontoon and docked it at the dock in front of the house. It's a floating dock, which rocks when boats pass by. The dock is also down a few sets of stairs.The grandparents were not steady enough to go on the dock, so we drove them by car to a boat launch and picked them up with the boat there. It worked out and the stairs and deck were easy enough for most of us. Sacandaga Lake is big and beautiful! There are a lot of motor boats around but still plenty of space, and room to jump out and swim.It was the fourth for July weekend so maybe busier than usual. I would highly recommend this house. Great place!

Perfect Lakefront Property

This was the perfect setting for a reunion of a few close friends for the weekend. Spent our days on the water, nights by the firepit catching up on old times, relaxing on the covered deck and retiring at night in the comfort of this spacious home. Wonderful getaway and looking forward to our return next year. Loved it!!

Get together with friends

Great location. Nice place w a big living room and deck overlooking the lake. Plenty of hangout space for a big group. Just know it is not 6 true bedrooms, there are 4 bedrooms and a room at the base of the stairs that you have to go through to get to the loft which is open to the living area.

Great Lake House

We loved the property and enjoyed the lake very much. We brought our own boat so having the dock was great. Loved the town and the people were very friendly. The house was huge and we loved the covered back porch and cooking on the Blackstone was amazing! We would certainly go back again!!

Awesome place for friends and family
