Soak up the sun in this 2bed/2.5 bath each chic Cottage that sleeps 8. This house is located in the exclusive Village of Tannin on the shores of Orange Beach, AL. Fill your days with sand, the sounds of waves, sun, and tons of nearby shops and attractions. Enjoy unbeatable PRIVACY, PLUS all the amenities a beach vacation should include.
The house includes a King Bed with ensuite bathroom, 2 Full Beds also with en suite bathroom, a Full Size Sofa Bed and half bath downstairs.

The house includes a community pool right outside of your patio as well as a second neighborhood pool. Take a 1-2 minute walk to the beach down the Private Deeded Beach Access road as it opens up to the Village’s Private Beach Area.

The 2nd community pool down the neighborhood street is accessible with a code. Please ask owner for code upon arrival if desired.

This house has everything you could need for the beach and more to sleep 8 guests comfortably. We keep the house stocked with beach necessities like a beach umbrella, beach chairs, and beach toys. You will need to bring your own beach towels. All you need to do is pack up, show up, and relax…and maybe pack a sandwich or two.

Additional features include a stocked kitchen, with a Regular coffee pot, toaster, blender, kettle, and full set of pots, pans, and dishes/cups/silverware.
High speed wifi is available throughout and there is also a laundry room with a washer/dryer.

Rinse off from a long day at the beach at the house's private outdoor shower.

Sit on the porch overlooking the pool with refreshments while watching the kids play in the water. Plus...you never know when the Blue Angels may fly over.

Enjoy a ride around the Village or into the Hugh Brandon Country trail on beach bikes.

Enjoy the beautiful private beach access solely for Tannin's members & guests on the shores of Orange Beach or take a walk down the private boardwalk into Gulf State Park and walk or bike the dune trails, take in the sights and sounds of the park, and even fish in the nearby waters.

If you are looking to take a day off from the sun and sand, fill your day with attractions just minutes away, such as the famous Florabama, The Wharf, or bring the kids to Adventure Island or OWA Park.

Last minute getaway

Came across this property due to a last minute cancellation the owner had. Loved the property and its location. The owner communicated effectively and provided a great rental for our trip. Very appreciative for the opportunity to bring my daughters and my sister on this trip.

Very nice location it was only about a five Minute stroll to the ocean. The house was beautiful. The only suggestions that I would have would be to provide an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and complementary sample shampoo and conditioner and soap in the bathrooms. I’ve never rented where there wasn’t a welcome basket of some kind with the hotel like shampoos and conditioners in the bathroom. The owners were very responsive. It is a very nice community and the pools were clean. I recommend staying at this location. Enjoy!

Hangout Festival

The place was great and we can’t wait to go back for more stays. 4 adults were very comfortable and I look forward to more friends trips there. I’d also like to bring me kids one long weekend. It’s the perfect set up and great location.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful beach cottage! It was perfect for my family. We loved the pools, short walk to the beach or trail system, and use of wagon/boogie board/chairs etc. The cottage is very clean, well stocked with everything we needed to make meals, comfortable beds, and has a very spacious feel with high ceilings. 5 + star rating!

Place was comfortable and clean and in a great neighborhood. Its is a quick walk to the beach. One pool was very near and clean, however, I would recommend getting the second pools code before the trip. Place could use more towels also. Overall, great place, great Wi fi. The close pool could use more umbrellas.

Arrival issue but place is amazing!

We had issue upon arrival, but it was resolved immediately. Our grandkids traveled down to rental with us and are now heading back to their home. They enjoyed all the amenities…. The house is beautiful and in a good location, accessible shopping etc. the private beach area is amazing!

Great Location

The house is located in a small village with a private pool. A short walk across the street, with a stop light to stop traffic, leads to a beautiful, clean, private beach area. The home provides chairs, umbrellas, and a wagon to take all your things to the beach. The beds was really comfortable too. Location is only 1-3 miles from several restaurants in all price ranges, close to grocery stores, bike rentals, and shopping. Thanks for a very relaxing vacation.

Winter escape

The home was as described! The little community village is close to activities, shopping, dining and the BEACH! The trail system is a very good one! The home is decorated nicely and it is stocked with most items needed for comfort and meal prep. If you have difficulty with stairs, both bedrooms are upstairs. The beach access is directly across the street! I would highly recommend this rental for small family or a couples get-a-way!

Perfect Location

The house was a perfect size for the 4 of us. The location was convenient for all of our activities, dining and needs. There was a snafu when we first checked in. I immediately contacted the host and the problem was solved expeditiously. The host also provided a credit for the first nights stay and dinner. We appreciated that she went above and beyond what was necessary. We will definitely consider the same location for another time.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay

All I can say is love, love, love. We will definitely be coming back. Not only is the location and area perfect and so peaceful, it’s also so close to the beach! The house is so cute and very clean! Also such an easy process. I stayed with my family and 18 month old toddler. I rented back equipment from Baby Quip and property manager was so easy to work with about letting them come in and drop off the equipment before our arrival. Communication and booking process was easy and reliable. Thank you again!

Beach Vacation

We had a great time! The house was very clean with comfortable beds and had everything we needed. It was the perfect amount of space for our family of 4 with 2 young adult sons. We loved being so close to Gulf State Park. We walked to the bike rental place (very close), rented bikes and spent 5 hours biking the beautiful trails there. We got ice cream at Pete's afterwards (also a quick walk). Highly recommend both! The beach access is a quick and easy walk. However, although private is very small in comparison to how many properties have access. It was very crowded. Adding to that problem was the fact that there were chair/umbrella rentals set up all along the spots by the water even though only about half were actually occupied during our entire stay. We noticed that most were not even rented, but just set up. This made it very difficult to find a good spot on the beach, even getting there before 9am, as we did each day. This may be just an issue during peak time, but I wish we'd known. The pool in front of the property is very small and was also very crowded. The other bigger, much nicer pool advertised in the listing was not accessible without a code. We found no mention of this pool in our check-in instructions, nor in the welcome book. I'm guessing this pool is not really meant for everyone. Clearer communication on this would have been helpful. Some of the beach equipment listed is in rough shape. I suggest bringing your own. Overall, very nice place.

A great place to stay at Orange Beach

We stayed at this property in July 2022 with my wife and our two kids (8 yrs and 14 yrs) and my senior citizen inlaws. The house was very clean and looked new. I can't stress enough how clean this place is. There isn't a hint of mildew smell you get from many condos near the beach. The location is perfect! It took us roughly 10 minutes to walk to the beach. It was a short drive to get groceries or to go eat at The Hangout etc. There is a bin outside with beach chairs, umbrella etc and a wagon to help tow it all to the beach. The beach was never crowded which was awesome. The only "negatives" would be the house needs more shower towels and hand towels. Also the couch pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable. Only my 8 yr old son could sleep on it without issue. So its really only a negative if you need adults to sleep on the pull out bed. The other potential negative is both bedrooms are upstairs so could be problematic depending on who is in your group. We also noticed on our last day that there wasn't a gas grill on property (the house book listing all the details says it has a grill under the ac units but it wasn't there). We had decided to eat out anyway but could be an issue for anyone planning to grill. I would highly recommend this place if you have 6 people in your group (and 4 of them are okay sleeping in same bedroom on two beds) and that if you need to utilize the couch bed its only for kids 10 and under. My wife is a major germaphobe. When we arrived the extra blankets in the closet did not look clean(the only thing in the entire house that didn't). I notified the owner that night and the next day they dropped of new blankets from Target and gave us a gift card for the trouble. I think that's some amazing customer service. Also I can't tell you how awesome it was being able to park near the front door after buying groceries. Last time we visited we stayed in a high rise condo and it was a real pain dealing with parking and elevators. I highly reccomend staying here!
