Everything was just as pictured and this was a wonderful, spacious place for us to stay with our two children under 5. We were able to easily fit our pack & play in the bedroom with bunk beds and it was really nice to have access to the balcony from the master bedroom without having to go all the way around through the rest of the condo. The location within the property is great as far as watching sunrise/sunsets, people watching, views of Morehead City, & close to parking. The only downside is that it's the furthest end from the beach (it's also a relatively long beach access after that walk & the stairs since there's no elevator)... this may not be an issue for some, but with two little ones and all the gear it was a trek for us! Fortunately the pool is also a great option and our five year old could have spent the whole trip there. For our long weekend stay, this was overall a great home base that we'd return to in the future.

Very nice place, rooms were clean but floors had dust & grit on them. Mats in bathrooms also needed better vacuuming. However we enjoyed our stay.

A Step back in Time!

The condo was nicely decorated, and we enjoyed our stay. It was on the third floor with no elevator, which we knew going into it. Our stay was great, and we found many things to do during our rainy stay. Found great restaurants for take out and eat-in. Found a nice little ice-cream shop close by, and the donut shop was awesome as well. The beach was nice and large, and lots of places to run and play for children and adults. We usually never stay at the same place twice, but we would definitely stay again.

Long weekend get away

Cute condo . Nice view from deck. Just enough for my husband and i plus 2 of our grown kids not yet married. Kitchen needs some better utensils such as sharp serrated knives and a decent cheese grater. (We like to cook and eat in most nights so if that is not you, its fine) Worst part is no elevator for unloading and loading the long hard walk partially in deep hot sand. Im in my late 50's and it was a hard walk for me(and i walk many miles on the beach every day) Over all nice place just a few inconveniences.

Quick weekend getaway

Overall this is a great location and true to the listing listing. Nice views from the balcony. My only request would be that they offer a linen option. It’s a lot of work to pack all the linens and make beds, etc.

The Best!!!

I must say this was the best experience I have had using VRBO! I cannot say it enough how GREAT Anita is!!!! My family and I were in town for a wedding and this place was perfect. If we are ever visiting the area in the future, we will defiantly book again.

Atlantic Beach License to Chill

Clean well-kept third floor unit. Is in a good location and walking distance to ocean beach. Building is older but maintained. Has nice pool and adequate parking. Close to many restaurants and stores along with a state park up the road. There is a view of the ocean from the balcony. Just be aware that it is the third floor and there is no elevator, but the view and breeze make it worth it.

Bright and lovely

Beautiful property, great ocean view and sound from balcony. Lovely wide beach, grounds and pool. Kids were very happy about wifi speed for gaming at night. Host was great.

Easter Break

Just what we needed for 3 day stay.. Location great, ocean view, next to Fort Macon and only 20 min to great food in Beaufort. Just remember to bring towels and bed linens.

A time in Atlantic Beach

It would have been good for a family with kids, not four adults, all over the age of 65. I turn 72 this week, and my wife has bad knees. Three flights of stairs was more than daunting! My bad, I didn't ask if there was an elevator. First time at a condo without any linens of any kind. I just assumed they'd be part of the package!

Quick couples trip

The condo was exactly as advertised. We had a wonderfully quiet stay. My husband enjoyed the view from the balcony while I enjoyed the wide noncrowded beach. The handicap ramp at the opposite building was an easy walk to the beach. This was our first time to Atlantic Beach but will not be our last. Our favorite restaurant was Amos Mosquito. The meatloaf was awesome. If you need a break from seafood you may want to try it.
